Why is that? What if PGO is scum, then what?

My logic here is that as a vanilla facing a lynch that's got steam, it's VERY hard to defend yourself (I've been there) efficiently. Secondly, if he was scum, he may be pushed by his teammates to fight for his life; in this case 5 others could give him ammo to fight with; it's more of a thought than a theory. I also did not know the info you shared about the options you presented ML with. PGO is reading the thread now, I can't wait to see what he comes up with!

Fourth post: I am officially alone on this baseplate! To further my case against PGO, here is the extent of his controbutions today: 1) FDL calls him out on his vote and asks for clarification; this happens: This reads to me as "Don't look at me, look at what he's done!" All of her concerns are then addressed by the FDL, the PGO then disapears 2) This post to request a pill Nothing to say here .... 3) FL calls him out as an individual we should scrutinize: And he comes up from his hiding place to say this: In this post he mocks the fake vote process denying it as viable to hash out suspicions and calls me out for calling out lurkers which at that point I had pretty clearly explained my point and stance on the subject. She concludes by alleging I defend the Witch; this proves he had not read the thread in a long time and was solely focused on addressing the post targetting him to redirect suspicion on another person (as was also done in his first post of the day). Oh! and PGO has yet to vote today! I rest my case

I brought that point forward several hours ago; some interest was shown, one person comitted to vote should I proceed. I will keep this 'suspect' for tomorrow's lynch as I see the validity in voting for FDY and ML today. I know you addressed this already but I'll still add my 2 cents; Pre-emptive much? When you say "she" you are referring to The Female Lover right? I kind of read this as if you are refering to the Vig as she; maybe I'm reading this wrong, am I? If FDY will be modkilled, could we not possibly lynch another potential scum; I know this is late in the day to start discussing a third suspect but it could pay off really big should FDY actually be scum! I personally think that the PGO's quick in-and-out comment was very weird. Not because it targetted things I said but because it clearly did not factor in any of the other elements of the discussions we were having at that time. Since then another person (on my phone, hard to type and go back in the thread simultaneously) and I asked her questions which have yet to be addressed. Firstly; the first time you speak up (with pertinence) is when called out by Female Lover ... how convenient. Secondly; Would I really be so bold as to come out in front, make all these allegations, gather flak, get accused, accumulate votes, produce analysis, incite discussion, etc. if I was scum? Would I scrutinize my own team and encourage people to look at their behaviour, of course I would! Quite stupid that would be! Thirdly: No, I was saying that the pill result validates the Witch's story; go read it, you may understand what I am referring to!

This corroborates the Witch's claim; good! Now we need to ensure the pills stay in Town hands!

We are going back to an argument I made early in the day, when we had yet to get any concrete leads, before the Witch/Vig/lover thing broke out. I will change my wording from now on to say "scrutinize" instead of "lynch" to appease the masses! And to make it clear once and for all: I have no intention of voting for, pushing for a lynch of or suggest a kill of the Stump. My using him as an example in my original post comes from the fact that he was first on my alphabeticaly sorted list of lurkers/low posters.

14! no seriously, I get that some low-posters may actually contribute valid points (Stump) but others (PGO, Cultist, Snake Charmer, Pie, etc.) do not. Why is everyone disagreeing that lynching lurkers is a bad idea? There is bound to be 1 or more scum in the above-mentionned people. You guys truly believe that these guys don't deserve scrutiny? This theory has proven to be valid in the past and should be considered as such this time around as well.

Hum .... After re-reading the thread and making some notes, I noticed that 2 people have yet to take their pills: Snake Charmer - posted a few times, yet picked no pill Cultist - What's to say here .... LOOK ALIVE PEOPLE!

Given the possibilty of it's importance, it's a fair approach;

The Vig is obviously a noob, or is lying, why would you go out and kill on night 1 when there are very few leads as to people's affiliation. I would be a bit more understanding of the 'shot in the dark' explanation if the vig had targetted the 'runner up' (Cultists) for the lynch rather than a person whom actually had bothered to make a concrete case/accusation and had a fairly good participation level. Also, why ask Hinck if he had 'sent' someone to block? Why not Cult Leader (Rufus), why not the Jester (CallMePie) or other experienced individuals? (the logic here is that the Vig contacted an experienced player assuming others had already claimed to him). Yeah, I said it before; it's my first attempt at producing analysis; I'm trying to approach this more loficaly with documented facts rather than my usual 'fly-by-wire' approach. So you (Witch, Goon and you) decided before hand that the Goon (fhomess) would take the pill, but then you also asked for it even though it had been decided the Goon would take it? Fake voting hurt my head yesterday and made me reluctant to use it today! - - - WHERE IS THE CULTIST! Ursuper had a fairly strong case against him yesterday and his OMGUS vote did not make him look good. I analyzed the case against him yesterday and I have to say that it's not the most solid case built in Mafia history but it has some substance. I'm sorry for forgetting to bold one of the actions; it was not intentional!! My analysis may not be spot-on; it is my first attempt at producing such a complex piece of info, so I apologize if I missed some details. I said this before and will say it again; I am not pushing for a lynch of the Stump, I am saying that lurkers should speak up. I did however imply that I have no issues in lynching a lurker; the Stump being one. When was the last time you have seen Def being so ... Sedated. He usually comes up with analysis, entices participation, creates discussions and flat out accuses people from the get-go; it was not the case yesterday.

Hence the reasoning for not actualy voting; I am suggesting a potential lynch, no voting was done nor do I intend on casting my vote on the stump first-thing. Yes but the quotes above demonstrate that he specifically stated 2 days ago (RL) and before his vote that he knew it was not required. Then today he says he did not know. Although not the best option, it is still a viable option. He may not have appeared scummy but what if that was the intent? What if he was hoping to fly under the radar? My poking him by proposing a lynch is a way to get him to talk.

That is a valid point which I meant to address in my analysis; the votes can be taken with a grain of salt, albeit a small grain!, it was very confusing! The argument that "I thought voting was closed" is not valid IMO; if unsure, you should have voted -> directed @ The Witch, Treestump and Snake Charmer Oh yes, I see now, sorry, I was going by memory! But is not bridging the gap as bad as breaking it? I don't have an opinion on the Cultist as of now, I have to re-read yesterday's thread to see how he interacted. Why the Goon in particular? Why not the Jester, the roleplayer, the PGO, The witch ot the Virgin? They all have low post count (lower than the Goon actually)! And yes, policy-lynch the Stump!
