Wow, so many nice details in this scene. From big things to small things, you nailed them all . I love it . And that 2CV, spot on! I'm not really into cars, but that one's just instantly recognizable .
-
This looks excellent, just like your previous two. Such a cute little street you have there .

Just noticed I had a new title: Contest Junkie - Guessing someone gave me this after seeing my post saying I am a contest junkie here. No idea who though... And, proving the point, I noticed this title after posting my entry in the white Boba raffle .
-
Boba doesn't scare easily, but Vader's chosen entertainment for the night was just to much for Boba, who literally went white with fear...

So many nice banners . My favorite, however, and the one I voted for is LuxorV's second banner. It's a tranquil scene without clutter, and I really like that scene from the movies. It makes me think of the end music from episode VI, which is one of my favorites, such a happy song! (I even had it as the ending theme at my wedding ).

[MOC] Collectable minifigs modular display shelf - series 3
Cecilie replied to Cecilie's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks . They do indeed have overlapping themes, but I try to avoid recycling ideas as much as possible, and I'm not going to attempt to make them fit together in any other way than both being Japanese-inspired. But they might look good together nonetheless, time will tell . Neither can I . Thanks . Indeed I am . And I promise, they won't be as late as series 3 . Just gotta get my hands on some figs... Oh, and I gotta remember to use that name for my next topic about these... catchy! . I'm so happy to see many of you liking the samurai, as it's one my own personal favorite of these vigs . -
You're really good at this! I especially like your fish and crab, they are really cool! But which creator set are they made from? I can't see it in your description...
-
This is absolutely gorgeous . It's seems like such a tranquil place to come for a walk...
-
Yey, my first time placing in a LEGO building contest, I'm so happy . Thanks to everyone who voted for my entries, and congratulations to all of the winners .
-
Waaaa, my brain! That's just... crazy!! Good job on that!
-
Spot on! It's instantly recognizable, and the figs are excellently done . Love it . (yes, I'm an anime fan. Yes, I've watched both Dragonball and Dragonball Z )
-
Very nice little scene . I haven't seen the brown heads as tree trunks before, it looks excellent . And yes, I envy you all that dark orange. I think my collection of dark orange bricks is limited to one lonely brick .

[MOC] Collectable minifigs modular display shelf - series 3
Cecilie replied to Cecilie's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks for the nice comments everyone, you all make me want to continue making these . Well, since the space villain is so popular, I have now deeplinked a picture to him in the first post . I wasn't sure what to build for him at first, until I read LEGO's own bio about him. Just had to give him something to steal, and a real good challenge . Thanks . I'm very much in love with Japanese architecture, and I hope to be able to create a larger Japanese-inspired creation some day . -
Impressive! You've nailed every little bit of detail on these. They really look like shrunk versions of the originals.
-
Awesome! I have never seen the original, but yours is lovely. You have really squeezed a lot of nice textures out of that tan. And I love those white and dark red squares in the front. But what's that tennis player doing up there? Not to mention the gorilla...
-
Stunning! It's so huge, and still very nicely detailed. You're really good at this! I saw your yellow building here too, which I really love as well. It's nice to see someone who doesn't stop at the common 3 floors .
-
So cute, and yet so creepy next to those minifigs! Makes me want to buy a bunch and stage a giant chicks horror movie scene .
-
Now, that's a cool car! My sigfig is telling me she wants one . Oh, and brilliant door design.
-
I think people should build more buildings in yellow (yes, it happens to be my favourite colour ), this looks great! And the interior is really nice too. Love the way you did a basement.
-
Wow, how did I miss this? Those buildings are really great and I love the use of dark blue together with the lbg. And those boats and that bridge are really cool too. Great work!

Vote for your favourite Category A entries
Cecilie replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
My vote goes to: 13) Fisherman Entry (Build by SuperBagel) - 1 point 14) Hula Dancer Entry (Build by Cutlass Iz) - 1 point 15) Gorilla Suit Guy Entry (Build by TazManiac) - 1 point (Love it, way better than my version for my collectable minifig shelf ). (hm, well, it's not intentional to pick three consecutive entries, they just happen to be my favorites ) -

[MOC] Collectable minifigs modular display shelf - series 3
Cecilie replied to Cecilie's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks . It's become an obsession I guess . Thanks, I have to try and top my previous work, in order to improve . I already have series 4 planned out, just need to build them . -
I'm sure this is the moment you've all been waiting for! It has taken me longer than expected to finish this series due to time constraints, but finally, I present to you my modular display shelf for the series 3 figs . And a group picture: See the rest of the vigs in my flickr stream. Oh, and before anyone asks: No, I don't have a picture with all series together, because I don't have any space right now for all of them beside each other (and I don't dare to stack them any higher...).

Here's mine. (Possible idea of cheaper transport to LegoWord )
