The advantage of the 9v track, offcourse power form the wall, is it works everytime. The 12v system, though better/more controls, doesn't work all the time......cause of the dust in the innertrack. Because 9v works everytime (even after 6 months break), I love that system. Only the advantages of 12v is: *) Sound, when the contacts move over the inner track. Sounds like a steamengine. *) all those extra remote controlled switches, crossovers and signals. *) the looks of 12v trains (7700 series). This is what the 9v misses...........sadly. Otherwise you would have the perfect train system, if you ask me. Disavantage of the 12v system, as mentioned before, it needs cleaning after a few weeks. But if it finally runs, 9v can't beat the classic 12v system . Well I have both systems and working at a 9v system with remote controlled switches, signals, lights and even a windmill (vestas 4999). I hate battery's. Even the new PF system, well I dunno. The new train 10194 I will buy and maybe for the curiousity the PF system.

Where can I buy this meanmachine gun? I WANT IT. I bet 1 minifig can face a whole battledroid army with this new gun .

How wide is de loc itself? I would like to put a 12v motor under the tender. But it the loc itself is 8 wide, it would be a problem to the other trains when those passes by.

Great review. For the diehard starwarsfans a must to have. Well I'm not that kind of people, so this set won't be in my collection, until is priced off a lot. I voted average. I still don't get it, why you would build only a walking tank without heavy guns on it? I prefer to build 5 AT-TE instead of 10 AT-TO for warfare.

Your review is excellent, don't misunderstand me. But I hate this type of bike. It's far too big for in a minifig layout. That's why I voted poor, propely I will be the only one who things this way........

This looks good. You've also some rare sets, which are hard to get. I guess you can't stay your layout there for long. You haven't a seperate room like an attic to make a layout?

I voted no. The admin/mods should be checking everyday the site if everything goes well. With the spam of the vestaswindmill, the staff has done a good job. A new person who joined this forum to sell something at ebay, is not right. This person is rightfully blocked. By the way, why does this seller think to sell it here, while I've build already one just form parts. My friend wants also one, no way I'm gonna buy this set. Just get the parts again .

When I'm able to buy it, I remodify it for 12v. But on 9v it looks amazing too. I still need a technic for a Big-Boy model .

You've have some more pic's of your trains?

That's Antonov zero-something. That's the biggest cargo airplane in the world. Build to transport the russian spaceshuttle. Only russia went bankrupt and the plane was not in use anymore. An english compagny found this plane and repair it for transporting big things. When you build this plane for tranporting people is can hold 1500 persons. An 747-500 can hold 500 people, then you know how big it is. And the Antonov is build to land at sandroads (see at those lot of wheels ;) ). It can't land at Schiphol, because it's too big . I guess a B-52 is small when compared with this Antonov.

It's lego colors. The sets used in the '80's were all yellow with red. Besides in real life we've DHL, who also use yellow with red. Not known in USA? What a great building. Only I would use these windows for a more realistic look.

I want this set too oneday. Only I change the colors. Octan is forbidden in my town and it will be changed in shell or in exxon colors. But the design of this set is outstanding.

Well vestasset is almost complete, just miss a few bricks. Windmill is working ans is remoted controlled. And the building inspector makes her round :P And I have also build 2 sets of 106, with stickers. Maybe I would like to sell one set, but what kind of price I need to ask for? I have no buildinginstructions

Well, finally the parts have arrived. Just have finished building the vestasset. I miss only pieces, but the windmill is already working. And it's remote controlled? Where can I upload a movie? And how can I change a quicktime-file to a windows media file? Anyway here is the pic of the almost completed vestasset in my town: I'm very proud to have this set in my town.
