Can the mod's close this topic please and remove it after a few weeks? I'm gonna start a new topic of my layout. Thx.

This was fun to read .

This is my first modification of the trainmagnets: I had to cut this piece off, otherwise it will bump on the inner track of 12v. This is a sign that future trains form lego will not be combined with 12v tracks without modification. It depends on design now, if I gonna buy future trains form Lego. Big change it will not. Here a few pic's of a Emerald train at 12v. I had to remove a few bricks which make the train too wide for 12v. And the front light has a 12v light and also the wagon has 2 12v lights, that's why the wire in the tender.

If I had the room to place all 30 trains in my layout, then I will make a complex one. With airport and harbor. Only I'm limited with space and forced to make simple loops to run 6 trains without problems with eachother.
-
Great idea and I think your design did just what you had in mind. Good job .
-
It does look impressive on box, but when build the train is small looking. This train is a big locomotive, so if it looks small compared with other trains......I think the design is failed. I prefer the old traindoors, which lego could used for the wagon. Sorry guys, I'm disappoiment with this train. Properly it will be sold when the price is going up, when it's out of sale.

Well, I'm a huge legotrainfan too. Exspecially the 12v trains form 1981-1991. Why, because I'm form 1978 and these trains were available in my childhood. When I compare the possibilities of 12v with 9v, 9v is a less fun to play with. 12v trains have remote controlled switches, signals and crossovers. In this way you can control everything form one spot, which you can see here: I'm also busy to make remote controlled signals and swtches for 9v. Well, I've those already . Well, I think it's clear I'm a train fan. The trains I have as set: Runs on 12v 2 times Runs in 12v 2 times, 1 on 12v and 1 on 9v Runs on 12v Runs on 12v Rebuild to 12v Rebuild to 12v Rebuild to a white one on 12v: Rebuild to 12v Rebuild to 12v And a blue, yellow and black version of 7725. A spiderman train for 9v: A real Hogwarts train look-a-like 7750 at 12v offcourse And a wadloper, a train that ran in north of Holland till end 2008 on 12v: If you want to see more, check my layout at brickshelf:

Finally I have this train, bought yesterday. After building..........I thought this train would look big. It's a small one, if you compare with this one: The 7750 looks very big if you put the 10194 emerald train beside it. . The emerald has trouble to take 12v switches and it's half stud too wide (mine track lies next to eachother and will colide with other trains passing by). When I look how the train should be powered through the wheels. If you unlucky, the wheels will jam. Rubbish. The new magnets are terrible, underneath this piece will touch the inner 12v rail and stops where track is slightly not even. I will try to let it work at 12v, but I guess no more new legotrains for me anymore. The wagon is a good design, that's why I voted average.

Time for an update at my layout. Currently I'm busy to connect all wires to my controlpanel. I guess, there's used 200 meter of wire and countless connectors. And keep in mind this is a lot of hours patience work . Here you can see almost all connected wires: And this is my idea of a 9v controlpanel, powered by a 9v speedregulator and 9v switches. This way you can contol the 9v battery sets form miniland: And an extended brigde form set 7822: Here you can see the stickers on my 7760, only the windows in the frony and this train is exact like the orginal: The problem is, when you have 2 trainsets, you never can tell which one is which. I have replaced the black shutters for red ones. The black ones are in the train itself.
-
And for american version: Very above averge. I love this set.
-
Even those 2 together are not a match for Yoda. In my opnion he's the strongest fighter. But between these 2, the sith soldier will win. Why? Because a 'human' can make solutions for problems and a droid can only do what's programmed to do.
-
I have 200+ droids, but only arms have broken and maybe 1 or 2 legs and head. But I admit, it's very fragile and should handle with care. Only the sandred ones are very expensive to replace..........
-
You're using setnumbers, which already used by 12v trains.
-
My goal is to place every train I have on my layout. The trains I can't place are in my cupboard and also the wagons. Click on pic for a bigger one.

There're 2 sandred battle droids added to the army. Click on pic to get a bigger one. At the moment a 200+ battle droid army. Soon a small stormtrooper army will follow. -
Both are good fun to play with and looks both good. Can I say: Both!

Great review. But I never knew that the major is a sith lord? I do want this set also. I'm gonna make a ghostbusters house. The american flag will be replaced by the ghostbusters sign.

REVIEW: 8169 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4!
BillytheKid replied to Tung T. Le's topic in LEGO Licensed
Did you know, that the first Lamborghini was meant to show Enzo Ferrari how a real sportscar should be build? Lamborghini's are orginally sportscars for the publicroads. Ferrari's are more racecars meant to race at circuits. Around 1960 Lamboghini Miura was the first production car which could reach a topspeed of 300km/h and Ferrari had only 1 prototype as answer. And a Lamborghini LM004 (only 1 or 2 build) is a 4x4 with a V12, which could drive on a ramp of 70 degrees. Frontwheels didn't touch the survice anymore, but this car did climb up. The Lamborghini Diablo and only a big V12, 500kg heavier and just as fast as a Ferrari F40, which had aV8 with 2 turbo's. -
Or a green one Though a red one is easier to make, cause you have those red windows. Your moc looks good.
-
Looks good and in the style of 6nops wide. Great job .

Re-organized the army. I'm gonna try to get a few sand-red battle droids equiped grey blasters form little army factory. Or maybe Super battle droids with arm blaster. And her you can see one battle droid, where the other 170 are the same: Notice the blue Super battle droid . And a tank attacks a gunship of the republic. The canon of the tank shot the cockpit in pieces and the pilots are wounded. The stromtroopers, lead by Darth Vader are defending themshelves. But the tank has one M60, which spray bulluts at them. Will Darth Vader survive? -

A pic with almost all battle droids ready for battle. It's about 171 on those green baseplates. And 40 somewhere in those battle droids carriers and a few in my layout. I was thinking to make a small army of sandred ones, only those are expensive!!!! -
The review is great. Always a pleasure to read them. But for the set itself, yuch....... I thought it was a minifig set, like 7190. It's a smaller one and you still have to pay 50 euro's for it. What a rubbish.

In mine opnion the best legotrain is this one, the 7740: Those yellow en red colors, it's for me the lego train if you talk about lego trains. A good second is this one:
