    MOC: Cars

Those cars are well designed. Good job .
  2. 9v track normally doesn't need cleaning. If it's dusty, use a painting aspergillum with soft hards. If the dust is really 'stuck' on it, use one with stronger hairs. For the metal thing, use a soft cloth with benzine or alcohol. The contact is made in de innerside of the track. Goodluck.
  3. Are you sure it isn't a fake? You can see photoshopping is used in the picture.
  4. Is this one for sale? Good work .
  5. Good review. I really don't understand what this set is about. I won't buy it anyway.
  6. You the site www.bricklink.com ? Here you can find everything you possibly can dream off about lego. And no, mine 9v motors aren't for sale . Sorry, little joke.
  7. A little update: Green 7760: for sale 6349: SOLD blue 7725: for sale 588/381: for sale 10021: SOLD 6208: for sale 6082: for sale 4954: for sale 6212: for sale Added a completed 4954 creator house and Starwars set 6212, which is build only once. It's like new. With all minifigs.
  8. I miss those cardoors in this set. Otherwise a good little set.
  9. You did a great bargain, I'm jealous . I can't wait to see some pic's of your layout. I never see great layouts with 12v trains much around brickshelf.
  10. Good design. Keep up the work.
  11. Great review .
  12. Those wires ain't not for the show. Otherwise I would leave it away. They connect all remote controlled control points, crossovers, controlled signals, etc. Great stuff from 12v, only those wires...... And this is only the half of all needed wires ..... HELP...... Thx for the replies.
  13. Looks good. But no room to place it in my layout.
  14. I guess it doesn't make any sense what I'm trying to say here . I haven't changed all pic's in tumbnails, which can be clicked on for bigger pic if wanted. It gives the slow computers better loadingtime. And mine first post at this topic is changed also. In future I will change all big pic's in tumbnails with deeplinks in it.
  15. Here's the link of my pirates sets. I've placed them on a table, which is placed in my layout. I need to make new pic's in my current layout, oopsie. Here there are in my last layout. I will make new pic's soon.
  16. Time for an update. I have kept the pic's small, cause of the new rules at this forum. Just click at picture and you get a bigger one. Here you can see the start of the trainbridge based form the bridge of spiderman. I'm going to try to build the front of the bank (also a spidermanset) inside the bridge. Here you can see that almost de half of the wires is connected. It's about 100meter wire and I need (I guess) another 100meter....... Cause of the stress of all those wires, the elec poles are getting pulled out of there place. With a self made system and a lot of weights I hope to get the elec poles straight. Don't pay attention to those trainwagons on the streets. A 12v tracks needs to be cleaned form time to time and need to place those wagons somewhere . Here is that system to get the elec poles straight. I used this to winch the strings attached to the poles. I used a worm screw so the strings can't go back. My english is bad to explain exactly what my idea is. I hope the pictures explain better then these words .
  17. Just have looked at your brickshelfaccount and I'm impressed with your collection. Also you have the first piratesets. You've seen mine? I like your layout. Great idea to let the train run above your town. And you've set 7715. And the green grocer with cafeecorner are not placed in the middle of your town, good choice. Otherwise all attention will go to those 2 big buildings. Do you've break your layout down form time to time? I see a bed and I guess someone sleeps there.
  18. I've added a picture of the innerview of the train.
  19. I've added a picture form the inside of the wagons.
  20. The review is good and it's a good looking train. Don't understand me wrong. But after personal reasons, I have bad memories about this train....... To be honest I hate this train, cause of those bad memories. That's why I pulled mine apart..............
  21. Thx voor your reactions. I have forgotten the 2d model of this set and will try to fix this this evening. In the future I will also make pic's of the inside off all trains I make review of. You keep me inspired to make more reviews of the trains .
  22. Name: Diesel Heavy Shunting Locomotive Set No.: 7755 Theme: LEGO / SYSTEM / Trains / 12v / Train Set Year: 1983 Pieces: 160 Minifigs: 1 Price (when it as in stores): USD 50.00$ (which equals about EUR 45.00€) Price nowadays (2d hand): USD 150.00$ (which equals about EUR 130.00€) A great looking train, which had no tracks with the set itself. You can remove the roof to place the driver inside it. I think it was more meant to expand your layout if you were having one. Otherwise you need to buy a speedregulator and tracks. There is not a station with it also and no wagons. You can decide which wagons the train had to pull. I think the looks and the colors are just great. It looks quite big in comparison with other 12v sets. Only too bad it has only one minifig, the driver. Then I knew, I want this train too. Click on pic for bigger one This is the second model you can make of the bricks of this set: Click on pic for bigger one The right view of the train: Click on pic for bigger one The left view of the train: Click on pic for bigger one Let's check the workplace of the driver: Click on pic for bigger one Mine version has 2 12v motors, so it can pull more wagons and runs better through the control points. Click on pic for bigger one At the moment the train is parked at the bridge which must to be build in future: Click on pic for bigger one Playability: 6/10 (To give this set a rate, it misses track, wagons and minifigs. It's more meant to expand your layout.) Design: 8/10 (It look realistic and big in comparison with the other 12v sets.) Price: 7/10 (By then, it was very cheap to buy the train. Nowadays, it's too expensive) Overall: 8/10 (It looks fantastic.)
  23. And what do you want to trade?
  24. Someone wants set 4954? Just missing a few tiles before this house is complete. Do an offer which I can't refuse.
  25. Name: Push-Along Passenger Steam Train Set No.: 7710 Theme: LEGO / SYSTEM / Trains / 12v / Train Set Year: 1980 Pieces: 427 Minifigs: 5 Price (when it was in stores): USD 40.00$ (which equals about EUR 37€) Price nowadays (2d hand): USD 90.00$ (which equals about EUR 80€) This was the first train to begin your fabulous layout (well in my case then ). There's a little circle of track included for a nice play for children. At least you have to begin with something. There's a nice little station where minifigs can get on or get off the train. The colors of the doors in the wagons are loved by people who want to make real dutch trainmodels, that's why this set is a bit expensive nowadays. You can make a second model of this train, if you get tired to look at the first model. Only the wagons are a bit different, the steam engine stays the same. This is my first legotrainset, I got it as a birthdaypresent when I was a child. It took 2 years later when this motor was added. Great to have those connecting rods on the wheels, gives a more realistic view of the train. I´ve played so many times with this train, one 12 motor is worn off. That´s why I dediced to look for a red 12v motor instead. The wheels are red (more realistic with rust) orginally, so a red 12v motor looks better and more orginal. Click on pic for bigger one Take a careful look at the driver, he wears bandana so he won't get a cold when working all day in this train. Click on pic for bigger one Click on pic for bigger one And a look inside the wagons: Click on pic for bigger one As written before, this is my first legotrain and I'm very proud on this one. With the red 12v motor is looks almost like orginal and it's always a great sight to see this train running on my layout. I don't know how much km's it has run, but I guess it's a lot. One 12v motor is worn off........... The upper front light really works, only I had to modifiy a plate for getting a wire through it. Playability: 8/10 (With 5 minifigs, a great playability. And you can and a 4,5v/12v/9v motor very easily.) Design: 6/10 (It look realistic, but I miss a little tender behind it. The wagons are great.) Price: 7/10 (Beacuse of the colors of the wagons it can a bit expensive, but it's worth every penny ) Overall: 7/10 (For beginner is a nice train to start with. And you can add which motor you want.) This was my first review here and I hope you enjoyed it and complete enough. I have it keep it a bit sort, otherwise you might get boring to read it. And a question: how can I add a poll at this review?
