    It's not all set up yet, but here are the pic's for the idea. I have used the blasters form the little armshop. I want those 2 32x32 green baseplates full of droids and 8 super droids form set 8018. Here are 36 more battle droids to be transported to where ever they are needed to protect the city form stormtroopers. Too bad this pic is not very clear, but here you have a closer view of the army on those green base plates. Click on pic's for a bigger one.

    I think this set is too expensive for the fun you get. Maybe I'm spoiled with the vestasset, but this one is very tiny small. For the windmill, this set is a big loser. However the truck is nice, nothing more. The little yellow car is the reason why it didn't get the vote poor. I like that one .

    I've been here for some time, but I concentrated at trains& town at this site. But I love starwars too and I have quite a lot of sets of this theme. Maybe It would be nice to share the collection I have with you people. I don't all sets, cause I have a hard time to place it in my layout of trains. You can see a lot of starwars minifigs in my layout. Mine idea is, to build a huge battle droid army, who have to protect it form the clone/stormtroopers. Great avantage, they don't need food all the time and cost nothing, aslong they're not needed. I love those battle droids and too bad they loose eventually form the clonetroopers. Aslong the numbers of battle droids are far greater then mine collection of clone/stormtroopers, my city is well protected. I've also made traincontainers with battle droids, so the can be transported very easily where they are needed. Click on pic, to get a bigger one. In time the battle droid army will grow faster.     Normally a legoset will be 3 years available. Sometimes sets stays only 1 year. If you want it very badly, I susgest to buy it soon as possible. Or take the risk for getting it cheaper or you have to buy it far more expensive if it's out of stock from lego itself. These sets will be worth gold in about 10 years, I guess.

    Great work. You have build the yellow tipper bed by yourself. I saw your white street cleaner also, you can build good.

    This looks good. I have to use a little of the look of the 7740, but I guess you would be right if set 727 would be released in 1982. And I would like to see more of your collection. I guess you have more trains, then only this one .

    Bought today, a wireless vacuumcleaner for my attic. This way it's easier to clean it form dust. It has a little vacuumcleaner (in dutch: kruimeldief) inside with a separate piece with hears, for the hard spots to clean. And easy for the little jobs for the lady in da house .

    Looks good and a very good idea to place a old building with little modifications in a layout. I have already so less room in my town.........

    The windmill is high enough, no worries. Otherwise I can make it higher if needed, when building the bridge nearby. The bridge idea: The idea is to use the model of set 4852 and make it longer, wider and higher. First I'm using all colors I have, to make the model. After time all bricks well be replaced by the right colors. This is the state right now. Of there're ideas, shoot. I can still make adjustments, while I slowly build this brigde. After the brigde is build, then I concentrate to make the track up and down form this.

    It isn't that difficult to adjust the caboose, so a head of a minifig can look through the windows. Only it would be a little more expensive though. And lego want to keep is cheap . I can adjust the caboose of the holiday train, when I find the time for it. I will post the pic's in this topic then. And I never liked this set anyway . But your review is outstanding .

    Great review . Love to read those. I had this set also, but sold. First reason, this wagon can't pass the trainshed 10027. Second, the has no option where a minifig can be placed to see above the long train in the front. That's why I voted poor. The color choise is good though.

    Because I secretly I do wanted the new firehouse 10197, I changed my layout a little bit. Soon I will make a new plan of this changed layout. I needed to place the vestas windmill 4999 somewhere else. After a afternoon thinking, this is the 'new' layout, ready to place firehouse 10197 . This new firehouse will be the place of the ghostbusters. I need to moc this car and the minifigs. The house itself will be the same as sold by lego. What are the opnions of this change? , I do need to place some more trees and stuff. I'm working on it .

    I voted poor. The review is great . But the set itself........... It's too simple build and not very exciting in my opnion. Thiefs rather use very fast boats and not a turtle going hovercraft.
