  1. So looking at the hi res Leia's torso has been updated which is nice but still no leg print. Imperial Pilot's black tunic has been updated slightly. Tarkin has an updated torso design and the grey Imperial next to him looks like the officer int he 75055 Star Destroyer but with a light bley design rather than dark bley. Han's hair looks nice on the figure especially in the Stormtrooper disguise.
  2. From the small pic I saw I think Han's new hairpiece is in the set.
  3. Well it looks like the multiple images that were circulating have been removed. Whether the leak will prompt an earlier official release only time will tell. The designer video may give some valid reasons where the extra 200 pieces have gone. I'm just keen to see what the designs are on the several unique figures in this set. Has Leia not been updated to a new design closer to the game design? Surely we're not still getting the figure that was in 7965?
  4. Can someone post some good close ups of the DLP Cap range then if they have them. Normal lighting not the odd flourescent rubbish they use for promo shots. Ta.
  5. I think that's what he means... As a precursor to a future set. But as there's no rumour of one it would be wishlisting.
  6. Better to order from him direct rather than eBay for those! I meant Shazam rather than Bizarro!
  7. Well once my CW Flash and Zoom arrive the Jay Garrick will be the only one I'm missing. I've got a Black Flash from the regular figures on the way. Another reason to get Jay Garrick is Paris Custom's is making a Green Lantern Alan Scott. While he's part of the Justice Society along with Wildcat it's nice to have another Golden Age character to go with Jay and 30s Batman from Christo. Superman hasn't really changed his costume and the SDCC Bizarro is also a classic costume that would sit with them.
  8. Get behind me in that queue, fella! ;)
  9. I did have a spare one of those around somewhere. I'll see if I can find it for you. (the helmet that is... if you're after the whole set then... )
  10. I'm not sure there's a hard and fast rule for the longevity of UCS sets. 10188 was 8 years, 10240 X-Wing was 2.5 years, Ewok Village 3 yrs and counting, 10227 B-Wing 1 yr.
  11. It's one of those scenes that will probably never get any kind of official release (I'm not counting the room on the DS) due to the fact it's just a meeting that has a heated argument but it's just such an iconic moment. The room looks great on this MOC... I really like how people handle the detailing of those imperial rooms that would be quite boring but the detailing and coving is excellent. I'll never tire of people recreating the lighting effects in plates with the white and black sections.
  12. There's one on there now for £115 with £50 DHL. I imagine if it was DHL then you might escape duty on it. I'd want to check with the seller that it was really getting sent DHL though... if it was you should get it in 2-3 days at the latest. Each parcel I've sent DHL in the last few years has arrived next day whether that's been in Europe or the US. Those Xinh 66 figures all look crap. I know there are far more figures being released these days but without SY doing their thing the quality has dropped off a lot. Just seen a review of a recent 8 piece Iron Man wave by DLP and they looked excellent... same with some of the recent Spiderman wave. Print and plastic quality was superb especially on the Spiderman UK figure. I just don't see Xinh or Pogo reaching that quality. But then again the new DLP Captain America wave looks pretty poor. Design looks iffy to start with.
  13. Absolutely. There's a chance that there will be and I'm hoping they show to at least put it to bed at this point. As a build we seem to know roughly how it will look anyway. I just want to see the figs now. In the past couple of years there have been sellers on Taobao that have had listings for various minifig parts that have turned out to be previews of upcoming figs... Do we have any Chinese speakers that can search? The Mexican Lego Market FB page is starting to have advent calendar figures available.
  14. They can imply all they like. If I believed they had them I'd also believe they were out there. I think they've seen the one photo we have and are insinuating they're more itk than the rest of us with that. Their bricks actually aren't that bad. Figures will be crap though. I'd be wary of buying a sudden influx of rigging pieces, printed dishes, light bley levers or yellow technical pieces.
  15. I must admit I've struggled to find something in yellow and black to work for you. Maybe search the yellow torsos on BL then maybe go for reverse and search for black and see what shows up. There are plenty of black legs with various levels of print should you need it.
  16. The Death Star isn't the only thing Lepin are releasing. Did someone say 10179? ;)
  17. Once it's all settled down it'll be around £100. Yellow Technics pieces x 16, Light Bley Rigging x 2, Printed Radar Dish, Light Bley Small Base Levers x 16 and UCS Sticker = £850 + shipping and import duty (approx)... and that's the cheaper end. Just 5,000 other pieces you need to build it. I'd say the Lepin might be the first bootleg set I buy. If the bricks aren't great for it it'll still be a bloody good base to start with.
  18. Abomination looks good. I'll be keeping an eye out for that 10179 cost. If that stays around £100 mark I'll be getting that.
  19. Probably down to the fact that the interior build looks pretty poor and sparse so they can concentrate on an outer shell. The DS features iconic rooms and locations that span two movies. More parts... More money.
  20. I'm assuming when people talk about the minifig being exclusive it's actually the tag or base they're talking about. Isn't the figure just the already released Supergirl with a different hairpiece that costs around 70p on Bricklink?
  21. I have done. Best to mask off the areas you want to keep then rub gently. Rub long enough and the print should come off easily.
  22. 75105 wasn't hugely different from 7965 but had enough changes to make it feel like it was a new set (besides the obvious dish change). Some nice touches like the new Dejarik table on the interior too. I wasn't sure how much CM4SCI was kidding with his photoshop work but he must have studied it to notice rogue cheese slopes if that's really the case.
  23. It would seem so... Although I'd rather people remembered me for this years £2 WW1 Commemorative Coin which I also designed.
  24. I've used that before, my Christo Thrawn has just those legs... Double hit with using the scientist's arms to upgrade Biker Scout figures too.
