  1. I think we've pretty much had the main vehicles and characters that have appeared in Rebels... the main Imperial craft have been the troop carriers (yes I know it was a piddly little effort but we got it nonetheless) and the AT-DP along with the TIE Advanced Prototype. The regular SW TIE is the same as the rebels version and the Gozanti pretty much finishes it off (we can always include 75055 for the Star Destroyer). The Ghost and the Phantom were pretty much it except for the final episode with regards to Rebels... I'm sure we'll get a Tarkin at some point as well as the 2 characters that appeared in the end of the final episode... hopefully with a nice new version of the Blockade Runner. I think 2015 will have given us everything we could have expected for what has appeared in the show.. for me it makes the Wookie Gunship seem like an odd inclusion but whether that's something we'll see more of in the future series only time will tell.
  2. I'm in the UK but I'm up to date now thanks to various 'helpful' sites.
  3. That was actually a different version of the Harlequin torso with rounded collar pieces... Not the same as the Funhouse version.
  4. Is there any proof of this complaint? Excuse my scepticism.
  5. A quick glance at that Wiki page shows that they would just call it an R-22 Spearhead which the A-Wing was based on... this was in production before the Battle of Yavin. In the long run... who cares... it doesn't really matter anymore. In the SW Universe anything can happen at anytime.. especially if the new owners say it does. It's not the biggest stretch of the imagination really is it? I mean Jar Jar threw his leg round with part of a droid attached to it and managed to hit several targets with the blaster still attached to the hand... this fighter could have flown through a time hole from the future and I'd still consider it more likely.
  6. I was just about to add the same thing...
  7. The pigtails really aren't a deal breaker. It's a very simply repaint job to make it red and black although I'm sure at some point in the next wave or two she'll appear with pigtails in... maybe in support of Suicide Squad.
  8. That looks like 2 sets but with an extra amount of dark bley slopes to make the base levels.
  9. I recommend finding out how to use spoiler tags before posting like this... even with being new if you have to start a post like this then you probably shouldn't post it.
  10. It seems one of the Chinese sellers on Taobao has listings for various torsos etc and the Admiral Yularen white torso is one of them although it seems to be sold out.
  11. Do you have any info about them?
  12. You might want to put something like that in a spoiler bar.
  13. i picked up the Helicarrier for the figures, Winter Soldier and the VIP points then sold the Helicarrier build on so it cost me £35 for Maria Hill, Nick Fury, Winter Soldier, Cap without mask and the Hawkeye and Black Widow figures along with £15 worth of VIP points! That sounds fair to me! I just hope they read SY and Decool read forums like these and see that a Raven figure is wanted and maybe some comic versions of characters that are getting official releases.
  14. They're not stupid... I think they know those Helicarrier figs would be a big pull... Include Winter Soldier in that too!
  15. I'd pretty much say SY has the advantage on quality over Decool... the only time I've kept a Decool over a SY version of the same figure was the last full Iron Man set that Decool did and they upped their game on that set although some other releases since have been hit and miss. I've never had an issue with AliExpress and now that Chinese New Year is over they're shipping out orders pretty quickly. The only issue you might have with a slow order is one that we've all encountered and that's with a brand new range some sellers put them up early and take orders even without receiving them from their supplier... the SY Iron Man range is the perfect example of this... they'll send it out eventually as they don't get paid by AE who hold the funds until you've confirmed receipt of the order but sometimes you have to wait a while. I think some people forget that AE is owned by Alibaba who are a HUGE company... not some iffy Eastern trading site. For the sake of $7 for 8 figures I think it's a no brainer... and I'm like you in the sense that I only ever keep figures that Lego haven't done... or the SDCC figures. If I couldn't get bootlegs of ZEA Batman, Green Arrow and Black Suit Superman I'd have been sitting hovering over very expensive eBay auctions for legit versions... as it is I'm not and I'm very happy with my copies. I just wish someone would clone the 2011 Batman figure... for some reason nobody has done that one yet! I totally understand when people don't want bootlegs or even custom figures but there are so many figures people are crying out for in the threads and they exist already.. just not as official Lego. Welcome to the thread! ;)
  16. I noticed that John Lewis also has a few pounds off the recent DC wave also... not much but cheaper than regular retail.
  17. I can see SY doing something like that after their Avengers Assemble set did comic versions of those characters although it would have been nice if they'd done a movie Falcon as theirs was a copy of the Lego version.
  18. With the recent DC wave and the marvel wave set to land tomorrow I expect them to have plenty of stuff to be working on... it's a shame that they put so much effort into total copies of existing stuff. Helicarrier from them for $100? :)
  19. The Liverpool store has had quite a few licensed parts in... Young Boba Fett torso, Ewok Village Leia torso and legs, Santa Jango torso, Luke Tatooine Legs, Lois Lane as mentioned, Celebration Luke torso as well as a few other items
  20. I managed to put together 3 complete Lois Lane figures in there a few months ago on the BAM tower. I saw they had some more of the Lois heads in recently... Not looked in there for the last week or two to check if they have any more flesh figure parts.
  21. The green on the SY torso is very slightly different but not really noticeable... The print on the torso and legs is better though and it has the nice rounded shoulders too. I replaced the arms with genuine Lego on mine and then put the Decool head on and Lego red hair. A non Lego person probably wouldn't notice the difference anyway!
  22. I've always thought that people who are happy to just collect bootleg figures, even those available in current waves by Lego, aren't really Lego collectors... there'd be no pride in that collection... they're just happy to have figures of any quality / make. Pad printed customs are expensive but there is a real market for them... and again... those that only want to pay £2 for a figure aren't going to pay £20 for a pad printed custom.. but that's not who the customisers are catering for. SY are the closest to Lego in regards to plastic quality, mould and print quality... although they're still prone to messing up. I think if SY actually sat down and concentrated on replicating Lego's moulds carefully they could do it... and the plastic really is that far apart from Lego's ABS. They've produced some very good quality copies... the copy of the Joker Goon from the Steamroller is actually almost impossible to tell apart from the original except for the shoulder thickness of the figure and the fact that the hip 'grips' on the torso are a slightly different shape... but the printing is pretty much perfect. Could SY do a full wave of SDCC figures and make them exact copies? Yeah... they could... with a little bit of tweaking to their moulds and a bit of QC on plastic colour and they could have something pretty much spot on. I'd actually like them to... because Lego aren't profiting from SDCC figures... the only people profiting from them are scalpers and I couldn't care less whether they make their money back on things. If bootlegs actually lowered the demand for genuine SDCC figures and therefore lowered the prices for people like me who'd like genuine figures then I'd welcome it... because if a time comes when you'd want to sell your figure collection then realistically the people you'd sell to would want genuine stuff anyway and you'd have paid a realistic cost for the figures in the first place.
  23. Have any SDCC figures actually been sealed? The blister cases are something that can simply pop open. I've never seen an image of any SDCC figure from any year that has had any kind of breakable seal.
  24. Variations are a big thing and whether an updated figure has been released. Greedo in the SW line is a good example of this... the Cloud City Boba Fett will always have a high secondary market value even though we now have an updated version in it's 3rd incarnation with arm printing to match the Cloud City version. Lando in his Cloud City costume is currently rare and expensive and is the classic look for the character... when (if!!) an updated version is released we may see the clamour for the older version drop a little... and with it the price. I got into the Super Heroes theme after wanting a Batman figure and picking up the Catwoman Motorcycle set for around £4 in a clearance... so then I had a grey and blue Batman.. but I wanted a black suit version so picked up another set... I now have all the Batman variations and several pad printed customs. I actually picked up both bootleg Zur En Arhh figures and then added a genuine Lego cape, arms and hands. Yes I'd like an original and if I manage to find one for less than silly money then I'll pick it up but this version actually looks pretty identical and for display it's ideal. I'm not one of those people who would be happy to have counterfeit figures of Lego figures I could readily buy in my collection and the only bootlegs I've got are of those that haven't been produced by Lego... I've even replaced bootlegs with original pad printed customs they were copied from. Some older Batman figures such as the original Nightwing still sell well and for relatively high amounts... although you can occasionally pick them up lower if you're patient/lucky. There is a bootleg figure of Nightwing with a similar blue styling but I think anyone who is interested in owning genuine Lego figures wouldn't simply substitute one for the other. I don't think they're close... at least not close enough that you wouldn't be able to tell. They all have telltale things either in the moulding or slight fluctuations in the design that stop them being confused for an original. The SY Batman ZEA has the bat emblem on the front symmetrical which the original isn't... it also doesn't have the Bat Radia on the back design... the head is also single sided. The Decool version has moulding issues such as sharp shoulders and different hips although the design is closer.. it also has a double sided head. It's like they do things on purpose so they're not exact. NYTF Iron Man has a different back print... Green Arrow has brown straps instead of black... etc While quality is getting better on some of them I don't think they're close to the stage of being identical in either design, mould shape or print.
  25. For that price point I think you'd be better picking up parts on BrickLink and making something that matched completely.
