I've got a real feeling that there's a LOT of members who are under 18... It's the kind of phrase I expect from a 12 yr old who is trying a bit too hard to be cool.... and failing. How this hasn't been removed is beyond me.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Robianco replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
While you're right about it maybe being the only other Quintet we'd be getting I'm not sure that they'd just give us another Milano with a GOTG2 wave. We don't know anything about the film yet but with only getting three sets this time round I can't see them repeating the main one for the next film. They made a point of saying it had been rebuilt to look exactly like the original Milano at the end of GOTG1 so I can't see it suddenly getting a different paint job or being drastically different to look at for the second film. -
Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?

The Toy Fair Captain America has been done already by SY but that's not it. -
I'd have thought they'd just recolour the existing Flash helmet.

Ha! MRF has them on AE. http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6552169100.html?orderId=66324281837477 I'm now expecting a long wait for them but I couldnt resist. Interesting that they decided to put both SDCC figures in vehicle sets rather than regular figure waves. MRF also has a listing for SY Minecraft figures but there's no image for them yet. I suppose we can safely assume the bootleggers are back up and running! ;) -

HANG ON ONE SECOND!!!! Now that looks like an 2011 SDCC Batman right there!! Please... Oh please be right!! Is that from Taobao or AE? Found. Ordered. -
Finally picked up the Ghost... I really enjoyed Rebels... especially the direction it was going at the end of the season... it started to feel very OT to me hence the purchase.

I'm with Kid on this... the Chinese New year will have shut everyone down for a couple of weeks... Unfortunately I think they're all probably very busy cloning the DC and Marvel waves as we speak... Also... don't forget that SY put out at last 32 figures around the turn of the year with the 16 DC/Marvel, the 8 piece Iron Man set which has recently shipped and the 8 piece Expendables... -

XSZ are the brand for these... Let's see if they're more SY than Lele! If it helps in getting the Davy Jones head for a Hobgoblin custom for less than silly prices then I'm happy! -

Quite a lot of that Walking Dead could be made as purist customs... And there's some odd hairpiece choices too... Merle?! Looks like the parts that are copied from Lego aren't too bad but when they've tried to design something themselves it's not turned out great. -
DSLRs can be very good at video. I've got a Canon EOS600D and I've done filming for a client in their factory and the lighting was good... So I adjusted film speed to balance it out and the footage turned out really well... Alternatively I was asked to film staff in an office and lighting wasn't as good... The footage was nowhere near the quality. Make sure you're lighting the subject really well and dial back the film speed and you should find your results improve. Lighting really is the biggest issue with them.

Citizen Brick have an eye patch head which is pad printed. I've used one to create a classic Nick Fury. -
If the hooded figure who shall not be named is actually an SDCC figure then I'm cracking open a cigar and a packet of popcorn and watching this thread go into meltdown! ;) On that subject though... What kind of timeframe are we looking at for either firm rumours of confirmation of the figures for SDCC? Was it around a month before that we heard last year? We got away with one DC figure last year thanks to Unikitty and the non-exclusive Bard being included but do we think there may be 2 DC and 2 Marvel again this year? Maybe a Jurassic Park figure as a licensed teaser seeing as Hobbit/LOTR has stopped?

Well I picked up a 75082 TIE Advanced Prototype for £19.99 delivered although without box and instructions but with all there figures. The Inquisitor sells for around £15 on it's own so I think that's a good deal.

Horny AFOLs?! Really?!... I'm sure there are much better sites to scratch that itch than a thumbnail of someone holding a Lego set. It's all a bit specialist for my liking... I'm a fan of Lego but I don't think I have those kind of needs....

Some of those look like a very good deal... the SY Avengers, FF, Young Justice and Guardians for a start. £2.30 for the set of Knights is also pretty good. For some reason the top listing for the Superman set looks a bit weird... almost like a Lele copy of an SY set. There's also an Iron Man set that looks the same. I recently picked up a new SY Superman set for just 2 torsos... It was actually worth it as I now have a Bizarro which is basically perfect, although I've bought the Christo version which is TOTALLY perfect... but the new Black Superman torso with the rounded shoulders is also bang on so I'm satisfied with that copy of the SDCC figure. -

How much are they charging for The Thing bigfig below it?! -
Next person to mention a Raven minifigure gets some particularly sharp Lego pieces sewn into the foot of their socks!

For me the best MKV is Christo's but thankfully the bootlegs have given us helmets aplenty. Looking forward to adding the new wave and upgrading any duplicate marks. -
I think there needs to be little perspective about how much money people are making on YouTube. From what I could gauge an account might get $1 for every 1000 views so even looking at something with 50,000 views will get them all of $50. From what I can see BQ gets from 5k to 30k views per video... That's not going to put anyone on easy street is it? Factor in the time it takes to put a video together and your time is barely being covered! It's probably enough to pay for your Lego habit but you'd have to like Lego quite a lot in the first place to make that much of an effort into getting your sets paid for. This is all regardless of how good a reviewer someone actually is and whether or not people like / dislike them.

I've used Engtaobao previously and it must work the same as yoybuy but the shipping was indeed very expensive. You'll end up paying two lots of shipping... one from the wholesaler to your middleman then the middleman's cost to ship to you... plus their little mark up. If you're ordering things in bulk then it might be worth it but for the odd Decool and SY wave... I'll stick with AE. -
I don't think the average fan would know that the A-Wing was developed after the battle of Yavin in response to the speed of the TIE Fighter. If they want to make the A-Wing present earlier than Yavin then it will be so. It wasn't that long ago that Boba Fett's history was largely accepted... but the PT rewrote all that in one fell swoop. I still personally think they just wanted Fett in the PT but couldn't as he'd be too young, which is why I see Jango's character insertion as really heavy handed, regardless of making him the source of the clones' DNA. But it shows how something that was pretty much lore could change instantly. With regards to things such as the timeline of A-Wing fighters they could just call it an R-22 and say 'some of the test pilots have dubbed it the A-Wing'... or just not mention it at all and the general Rebels fan wouldn't know any different. With regards to saying they won't or can't call it a spearhead or an A-Wing... they can and might. If Anakin's force ghost can completely change it's appearance then who knows what is possible! ;)

I don't see them dropping Rebels so quickly, in fact I think a CR90 is probably the most likely set we'll get... Especially as the Tydirium would have clashed with the transport shuttle... We're getting very close to the OT now and the timing would suggest the Death Star is an imminent project so there may be a real overlap with the vehicle designs from there. I'm kind of expecting them to expand away from Lothal and that may bring us some more local specific vehicles etc but the Imperials I kind of expect to have regular OT vehicles and transports. How Lego assigns sets to this will be a juggling act between them and Disney but I fully expect them to release the 2 rebel characters at the end and for me that points to the CR90 as the most likely answer.

I've just tracked my recent orders from Ali and one of them is in the UK and the others are with the airline and should be in the UK in the next few days. That should have me completely up-to-date with everything I wanted to get from there. I think in the next couple of weeks we'll start to see a new range from both SY and Decool but they'll probably just be clones of the recent DC and Marvel waves.... I just hope (and keep everything crossed) that SY somehow include an SDCC Spiderwoman and 2011 Batman in there somewhere! I'm seriously tempted to set up the artwork for Spiderwoman and upload it somewhere as a massive hint to them!
