Imperialshadows- at least put a thread the MOC's section and show us the digital renders of your chinese restaurant. No possibility of borrowing a camera?

Kicking peope with the rear panel of a car is better than shoving your luggage into your elephants nose.

Nice work Gylman. It's hard to say what I think about it cause I'm kinda speechless. Love the Burger and the Jukebox. The amount of detail in there is incredible.
-
I doubt you will find too many other sets with the same colour scheme as Paradisa. It contained some pretty unique colours.
-
I reckon the 4011 Cabin Cruiser would fit in well with the Liesure theme.
-
Gotta be fake. It doesn't appear on Bricklink at all.

How much of a set range does he have? A small set containing a cannon and a couple shako's would be good to buy in bulk if they were lik 50c each or something. Does he have an internet shop or something, or is he just a mate who sends you stuff? I'd love a whole pile of knockoff Blue baseplates for ocean scenes.

I'd use a bunch of these All clipped to one another in a circle. Then build a centre frame .

Get used to a bit of dissapointment Dino Bot. Lifes full of it. Nothing wrong with the quality of my lego and I've still got lego from 30 years ago. Maybe you're just not treating yours right.

I could tell what it ws from the picture. That's pretty clever. Will a round 1x1 plate fit on the bottom as a lantern base?
-
I'd use this torso And then just colour in the tie red. A permanent marker should be enough. Technically it would be custom but not by much. Colours and everything should look original then.

Ha ha , You're a clown Sinner. Maybe we should do a Duplo MOC contest in the Town Forum though. I'd like to see Hinkley beat us then. My boy's got quite a collection I could "borrow". EVen though he's only 16 months and prefers to throw rather than build, he's up to around 50 of the connectable car bases and buckets of bricks.

QUOTE These sets will have a retail value ranging from US $5.99 - $6.99 End Quote Where's the problem? You weren't expecting a Heavy Hauler or a Millenium Falcon were you.

While I appreciate the idea Gylman, I completely disagree. I find the posts with thumbnails annoying. You have to click the link to bring up the picture, then move the mouse to close the box, then click the next link, then close etc etc. I'd much rather just flick my scrolling wheel or hold my finger over the down arrow to see the entire thread.

48x48 baseplate= $10 2304 1x1 plates @ 1c each =$23.04 Total $33 If I saw you build it without any computer support then I'd be impressed and pay more ( except for the fact it's a wannabe US megalomaniac) but how hard is it to get a picture, greyscale it in paint, reduce it to 48x48 pixels and then copy with lego. As for making more, once you have the first the only thing stopping you is the world reserves of 1x1 plates. Like I said, my 4 year old could copy it if he had the original and the pieces in front of him. -
You need to shift some real heavy loads then I'm sure you'll revise that statement. There's a reason real trains have the engine at the front.

Classic cars are worth big bikkies these days. It's worth spending the money on a decent carrier to ensure your irreplaceable collectable vehicle arrives at it's destination in 1 piece. ;-) Thanks for the kind words peoples. Inspiration was from my mother-in-law. She came to visit and wouldn't shut up so I had to find something to distract me from her boring stories about her boring life. 3 hour build and the the truck was ready for work.

V-LF-3E Here's one I prepared earlier, while sorting pile of red bricks one night. Entry is for the Engines category. It's 6 wide at the cab and 7 wide on the back, with a 9V light and sound system.

V-LC-03B Here's my entry, based on an idea by M'Kyuun. Please note that this entire model was built only using parts from 7990 Cement mixer 7992 container stacker 7998 Heavy Hauler and leftovers from my 4954 Creator house MOC (in the background) and of course was loaded with 4 wide classic cars from my Girlfriends Town

I'll give you 35 bucks. Thats about the value of the bricks. Why cant you make any more? Once you have the colour map it's not a big task. My 4 year old could do it. -
25% OFF any single PART Lot @ Troy's Surplus LEGO
Landlubber replied to Troy's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
1 order and he saved $176!!! Thats a $700 order, all the same part? What was bought? Someone here mut have a serious project in the making. I was thinking of cleaning you out on plant pieces but I already spent too much money this week. -
The site lists all parts that were used in Fabuland sets. It doesn't mean fabuland was the first to use it. I'm a big fan of the fabuland roof pieces. They've come in very handy in a couple of my Pirate MOCs.

I got that set recently as well. Bought a bulk lot and there was all but 1 minifig in there. Gave it to my girlfriend for her town. Need to find her a Ristorante now.

Well in that case, DONT STEAL MY IDEA. You convicts, I dunno. If it aint bolted down......

Why is it that the map is 20x30 cm's, when the brick is a 2x2 plate? Shouldn't it be a 20x20cm map? Also why are you using 2 different usernames. Thirdly, why is a 13 year old always demanding to be called Mr? Wouldn't Lil' or Lad or Sonny be a more appropriate title?
