  1. I suggest using one computer.
  2. How ever will you Aussies prosper without the American big-box mentality? I mean its working really well for us these days.
  3. While I really like it what bothers me is that all your buildings are similar in size. You need some variety in scale; if anything deserves to be a lot larger, its a supermarket. Cheers
  4. It kind of looks like a Jedi Starfighter in CS colors. I dig it.
  5. While it looks a lot better than any of the photos would have led me to believe I still find the QAR to be a better set. It just has cooler details and looks more interesting. I guess thats' why I prefer the video game BP, it looks more interesting and has better angles.
  6. Im stealing your water fountain. Thumbs up.
  7. My young friend Thomas' dog just passed away. Rather than get a card I made him this memorial. I modeled the dog on Nolnet's red dog, who got the fender idea from Teikjoon's yellow bull.
  8. I grew up on the OT, but have no problem with PT vehicles. A UCS ARC-170 would be great.
  9. Man I clicked on this thinking it would be a Mad Max MOC. As oil runs out people in the US will have to pay European prices for Lego, or even Aussie prices...scary.
  10. Twilight style? As far as I can tell this MOC isn't for teenage girls so you can't mean that tv show. My only criticism is that it's too fat for the hull, it looks like a muffin. Everything above the brown is great.
  11. Love this. Everything is executed very well.
  12. Then you need to register to read their content.
  13. I agree that out of GG, FB and GE Fire Brigade is the most interesting build.
  14. I like it, but my only suggestion is that the rear tires need to be larger and thicker than the front ones. Hot rods are usually jacked up in the back.
  15. Most people, myself included, try to stuff as many fiddly details into the facades of our modular MOCs. Perhaps because it makes us feel clever :D . I really like the simplicity of details on your building. Its extremely good. Cheers
  16. Midi Millennium Falcon.
  17. I went into Toys R Us to take advantage of their BOGO50% sale. I was going to get two Star Wars sets but they had two 10197 Fire Brigades on the shelf. Guess what I chose? :D I guess Lego really must be EOLing that set if its available at TRU.
  18. How do you handle insuring your collection? Are there extra riders to have? How do you proove what's in your collection? What about bricklink orders? I'm mostly interested in the US but this thread will be relevant to everyone else as well.
  19. While I'm not going toi get it I am happy to see that they used similar techniques from the QAR for continuity.
  20. I guess I didn't explain myself well. You would not be changing the gap, the hull pieces would be left alone but you would have the rail part of those modified plates sticking up to fill the space. So it would be the second thing you said. If the height is done correctly it might look better than having a gap.
  21. I meant that they would be attached vertically to the substructure and the hull pieces would sit on either side.
  22. http://gizmodo.com/5821030/worlds-tallest-mobile-crane-is-also-worlds-strongest
  23. I wonder if you could fill the gap using grey tubes, or use these ( door rail 1, door rail 2 ) parts mounted vertically between the hull halves to visually close the gap.
