I already spoke with that builder and gave me permission, even though its not necessary, to use dancing minifig images inside.
The support has been quite rapid, just need to keep the momentum going. I need to find someone going to one of the big Mac conventions to pass out flyers.
I prefer brick-built to stickers but there was no way to get the interior images done without stickers, but if more people in the comments want a sticker on the front I'm down with that. However, the final set will have dancing minifigs instead of the stock apple images.
This looks great, and even more imposing, but when you said stand-alone I thought you meant with facades on all sides. This still looks like it should be attached to the other Modulars. I was thinking that all sides had facades with the same level of detail as the front so it could be surrounded by parks or be in the middle of a square. I do like the windows that stick out on the left and right sides. Good job regardless.
While I do agree that some exterior aspects could have been better, overall this is a fantastic set and I thoroughly enjoyed building it. It definitely started my kick of building all those six-wides.
Or it could be the most awesome BBQ Delivery Vehicle ever; like the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile.
Once you can easily make the chassis, you free your mind up to create new details. Its very freeing.
Continuing on my VW Van kick, I made one for Friends figs. They use Ralph's sliding door and the table in the back is hinged revealing a storage compartment.
I disagree. I recently finished Grand Emporium and the floors come apart so easily. They pop loose just moving the set, and could use a stud connection to help keep things in place.
