  1. I already spoke with that builder and gave me permission, even though its not necessary, to use dancing minifig images inside. The support has been quite rapid, just need to keep the momentum going. I need to find someone going to one of the big Mac conventions to pass out flyers.
  2. This is great and I think it does belong in the town forum.
  3. I prefer brick-built to stickers but there was no way to get the interior images done without stickers, but if more people in the comments want a sticker on the front I'm down with that. However, the final set will have dancing minifigs instead of the stock apple images.
  4. I knew it was on TUAW, but hadn't seen that. http://www.tuaw.com/2012/03/03/lego-apple-store-could-become-reality-with-your-support/
  5. I bought Fire Brigade soon after my darkages and it taught me a lot about modern techniques.
  6. I think I lived in a house like that when I was younger.
  7. This looks great, and even more imposing, but when you said stand-alone I thought you meant with facades on all sides. This still looks like it should be attached to the other Modulars. I was thinking that all sides had facades with the same level of detail as the front so it could be surrounded by parks or be in the middle of a square. I do like the windows that stick out on the left and right sides. Good job regardless.
  8. IRC, it was explained in the release video, check the other thread.
  9. The Modular buildings stay on the shelves for approximately two years.
  10. This has everything I love about a good MOC. My only suggestion would be to work in a little light blue around the white in the waterfall.
  11. While I do agree that some exterior aspects could have been better, overall this is a fantastic set and I thoroughly enjoyed building it. It definitely started my kick of building all those six-wides.
  12. I like the few random studs on the tiled floors. Good for posing. I did something similar on my Apple Store.
  13. That looks great and I like the inclusion of the motorized lift. Does it have space for your six-wide cars?
  14. The wheels are from 9478.
  15. Having walls around a helipad is a really bad idea. Put it on the roof..
  16. The V-Dub Club gets a new addition with Olivia's Mobile Scooter Repair.
  17. Looks great, GE really lends itself to expansion.
  18. Or it could be the most awesome BBQ Delivery Vehicle ever; like the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile. Once you can easily make the chassis, you free your mind up to create new details. Its very freeing.
  19. Looks great. Nice modification.
  20. There is a white MacBook/iBook being repaired at the Genius Bar. On the tables are the current grey iMacs and MacBook Pros/Airs.
  21. Initially I thought the wheels were too small, but a totally dig how they make the vans look. Especially the blue one with the arch.
  22. I modified the computers a little and selected the proper figs. Its been submitted to Cuusoo. http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/10142 Cheers
  23. I finished the road version of the race car I posted earlier. More photos on the Flickrs.
  24. Continuing on my VW Van kick, I made one for Friends figs. They use Ralph's sliding door and the table in the back is hinged revealing a storage compartment.
  25. I disagree. I recently finished Grand Emporium and the floors come apart so easily. They pop loose just moving the set, and could use a stud connection to help keep things in place.
