  1. Happy to hear I hope you find them easy to understand it was my first go... will be happy to receive your feedback plus if you could recommend it to your friends and other AFOLs :)
  2. I did my first instruction ever now on Mac using Brickmsith and LPub and am quite happy... the only thing I do not like is Bricksmith not "interlocking" parts. Sometimes there are small gaps when trying to combine technic and you just can't fit it perfectly, no matter the grid size... that is frustrating, looks strange. http://brickmasta.sinful.at/the-batwing-pdf-instruction/
  3. Hi all, the instructions are finally finished and available on my new blog: http://brickmasta.sinful.at/?page_id=54
  4. Working on the instructions now... WIP - Instructions by Brickmasta on Flickr
  5. Seriously thinking about it... but first need to rebuild it virtually for instructions :)
  6. I think you should go for your "own interpretation" - this is the liberty you have with using Lego
  7. I already got the exclusive Flashback Shredder last month here in Austria...?
  8. I even wrote PM to the MOD here but no reaction for it being frontpaged... oh well, I am happy and proud anyway :)
  9. I started the project on LEGO IDEAS and would appreciate any support :) https://ideas.lego.com/projects/66197 Got cancelled - LEGO does not approve of reverse engineering "already existing" models :(
  10. I did not use any technic for the cockpit part, just the standard 1x2 with the one knob to center all
  11. Another shot for you all :) The Batwing - Sideview by Brickmasta on Flickr
  12. Thank you all :) Anyone knows how I can submit that for Frontpage news... ? I also have another picture for size comparison for you :) The Batwing - Size Comparison by Brickmasta on Flickr
  13. Thank you all so much, got some more to show :) The Batwing - Turbine Detail Shot by Brickmasta on Flickr
  14. Thank you all :) @billyneon: I will put up more pictures of details in the upcoming days, fixed the turbines with some different and old technic stuff @arc: I thought about it, but since this isn't really for playing or swooshing or anything... not sure if it would work out. I guess it would require a bit of enhancements. But my next step may be producing part list plus instruction! @rollermonkey: Thank you! Unfortunately not, no swooshing for this one... but maybe version 2? Who knows
  15. Finally finished... I present it to you in all the glory - see the album for all pictures and details and thoughts :) https://www.flickr.com/photos/brickmasta/sets/72157644170959096/with/13973416094/ The Batwing - Front by Brickmasta on Flickr
  16. The Batwing - WIP #015 by Brickmasta on Flickr It's a Cinderella moment... They fit!! Main body with cockpit is 100% finished. Phew! Now working on wing and turbine attachment to get it done.
  17. Thx for your update :) So I should work with Bricksmith and then use those files for LPub?
  18. I am not getting along with all those instructions... because it kind of misses an important step - How do I get my LDD models I build to LPub? I am working on a Mac, I downloaded this LDraw package but there is no APP in it to create anything, just libraries. And the 3d viewers I got for Mac are not opening LDD files. I can't find anything to tell me how to get my LDD models / instructions to LPub for doing a great and professional building instruction. Is there any way to do this?
  19. The Batwing - WIP #014 by Brickmasta on Flickr Second turbine done. Did some reverse engineering again as I was not sure how I built the first turbine... and did some slight improvements. Also built it in LDD at same time to see what and how many parts. So one engine as you can see it here consists of 112 bricks :) Fixing up my own version of the connections now to get them attached to the main body. Lets hope that works out and looks great!
  20. The Batwing - WIP #013 by Brickmasta at Flickr Next detail finished, had to improvise again and change this as the big chain piece is not fitting together with the small sticks... they are a bit to thin for the chain-connector, so I did it like this to come as close as possible to the movie version! Now finishing up the interior and rear section, if everything is progressing as planned I may be finished by next weekend...!
  21. Yeah there are some parts that are not available in the color... but nevermind, gives it a more personal touch When this piece is finished I will do a high quality shooting to get nice pictures of it which will hopefully be then featured Thank you all for your great feedback and support!
  22. Batman was lying I spent countless hours in the video game to rebuild it and take a detailed look at the parts and connections and what I need to do... but still amazes me how someone can come up with this like from scratch.
  23. The Batwing - WIP #012 by Brickmasta at Flickr First small Bricklink delivery is here so I can start on the huge display base for "The Batwing"
