  1. Got the 10212 and 10188 today from a buddy who is giving up his collection... sealed and mint Expanding the collection by Brickmasta on Flickr
  2. We did it this way because the heaviest part is at like the last third of the SSD... so we hang it with the heavy part to the bottom. And it was easier to get it hanging this way, the rear is like nearly closed and built so thick with several bricks and no room to get the rope in there... But we are planing on some LED backlight action...
  3. Just wanted to share with you what we did to showcase our new Super Star Destroyer in a proper manner Super Star Destroyer - Showcase by Brickmasta on Flickr
  4. Yeah I am still wondering how the bent tile plates can hold there... why do they not just popp off due to the pressure the bending induces... ?
  5. Truly sorry buddy I could not find your design again after seeing it back in November, so I just started building and uploaded it - will edit it in the description to your link The Viper btw. was my own design, of course I looked at like 100 different pictures from last NnoVVember but was not even close to understand how people can build such awesome things... and then I got those two turbines in my hand and started building around it. Completely understand your point Rick
  6. Aaaaaah it was you!! I just remember seeing a pic of this MOC back in November somewhere and remembered it shortly before christmas when I visited our Lego store and saw the Monster Fighter set Could not find it anymore so just started building... we should put them besides each other in a pic No copyright infringement intended
  7. Thank you all :) And yes I will make sure to get the new Batman from the Junior Set :D
  8. UPDATE 19th of August: Got instructions finished for this creation, you can get them for free on my blog: http://brickmasta.sinful.at/1966-batmobile-pdf-instruction/ ------------------------- After seeing B Ricks interpretation of the 1966 classic Batmobile from the legendary TV show I decided to give it a try and build one too 1966 Batmobile by Brickmasta on Flickr Appreciate your feedback and comments!
  9. You, Sir, just made my day with this! And I also need to watch the TMNT season 1 now...
  10. I am thinking more simple... stable hooks in the wall that mount the technic-bricks from the display-stand that is integrated in the star destroyer - do not know if the falcon features this one, but for the SSTD I thought about using the black display-stands to be hooked in the wall... but only possible if those are really fixed and linked inside the SSTD.
  11. Sets are coming out in May so until there the show will surely feature something like that :) The first glimpse of the sub is awesome, must have!!
  12. Please share a guide, I am planning on mounting the big Super Star Destroyer on my wall because there is no other room left... but not sure what to do to fix it internally so it is stable and can hang on the wall :)
  13. Funny how the print is screwed up... the trike is printed right, but the text is left with the truck :D
  14. Thx guys :) Yes, out of the dark ages and going down the road of LEGO :D
  15. Was there a sumbarine in any tv series... ?? If so we may know how it will turn out :) Edit: We may have winner: http://tmnt2012serie...wiki/Turtle_Sub
  16. Another shot for you :) SE-83 Starjet Viper by Brickmasta on Flickr
  17. Yes, most of them from Galaxy Squad and then Bricklink :D
  18. This is my first finished MOC ever since I started again with building Legos this year in September... I really wanted to get into those monthly building events and NnoVVember was perfect. When I heard of it I kind of thought about the typical shape of a viper and this image of those two wings with the engines popped into my head :) I was then researching in which color they are available and to my fortune there is one single set that was done by Lego out there with exactly those engines... I do not know why I am so fixed on orange and white right now, just loving it and will start continuing my work on my first Mecha in the same color scheme. Building my first MOC was really a challenge... and at first I wanted to keep it relatively simple because I am not able to do any complicated building techniques. I took some inspiration from around the net and experimented in LDD first. And then ordered on Bricklink and just started building. Hope you like it and would love to get your feedback on my first MOC! SE-83 Starjet Viper by Brickmasta on Flickr
  19. Any chance for some big highres pictures to look at the details? :)
  20. Only small sets so far, hope they bring something big again :D
  21. Great background info, did not know that... thx!
  22. How did you get the flat side planks "bent" ... ? At least they look like they were bent :) Any chance of bigger highres pictures to see more details? Are you on FlickR? Amazing ship, very inspiring...!!
  23. I am so excited and looking forward to this set, hopefully they stay true to this design with all the cool parts... and do not simplify it! And lets hope that GHOSTBUSTERS will be next
  24. Definitely grabbing them, sounds awesome. Now I wonder how big the sub will be... ?
