That is impressive. Can't wait to see the rest of the parts installed.

Thank you all for the feedback. I made some updates: Reduced the exhaust to 2 from 3 to make room for an enlarged cockpit. Added some controls for back up in case of brain fart. Changed the colour scheme a bit to make use of transpurple cones I recently got from the Pick A Brick wall. vic viper by dr_spock_888, on Flickr

All the horses fit in one cup. The windows fit into another cup. I had windows in two 4x5 stacks and the rest in 1x5 and smaller stacks. Some times I wish the cups were squarish. Kristel, you could take a Lego shopping vacation to Canada. We're part of the Commonwealth.

Fabuland layout by Quarryman and Cecilie (WIP)
dr_spock replied to Cecilie's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This is fabulous. Using the dino set figures for a playground is a neat idea. -
Nice start. To get more of the background in focus, you'll have to manually set your camera's aperture F-stop to a higher value like F11 for example. If your camera doesn't have manual controls, then you may have to play with the scene modes. I think a landscape mode might work. You may to shoot further away and crop the image. http://www.cambridge...th-of-field.htm Hope that helps.

I can't wait either but I'm having builder's cramp at the moment. You guys are putting pressure on me. ======== Mother always say eat your greens. I wonder if this counts?

Looking good. I think you could use a M-motor to drive it through Technic axles and gears. Hide motor in boiler or coal box?

Annie. If you've done electric motors in brass engines before, you can do it in Lego. It is not too much different, other than you don't have to solder, screw or drill. JopieK is a good guy for stickers.

Thanks. I could raid my Boeing 777 Dreamliner for clear cheese. Yup, yours is definitely better. It is amazing that it is really invisible. Where did you find the invisible Lego. Gotta get me some. Thanks. I don't know if there is a MOC of one in the idea books or Batman encyclopedia. I don't have those books but it would be cool to see it. I'll see if I can make the front pointy with either 1x2 plates and/or 1x1 cheese.

Great Australian Ute
dr_spock replied to Aussie BJ's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Nice ute. I like those suicide doors. Hmm, it is Super Hero month, I wonder if it could work as a Batman Ute. -
Ever since I bought 6862 Superman vs Power Armour Lex, I wonder if it would be possible to build an invisible plane for Wonder Woman with a Pick a Brick wall cup of 1x2 transclear plates and what little other transclear parts I had. I started snapping 1x2 plates together one November evening and an all transclear invisible jet plane appeared. Now she has something to evade/attack Power Armour Lex with instead of being in his grasp like a damsel in distress. wonder woman invisible jet by dr_spock_888, on Flickr It is swooshable without falling apart.

Congratulations Annie on your tag and A Perfect 317 title.

Thank you all for your comments. I am pleased with how the flick-fire missles turned out for the catenary posts. It's a pretty versatile part. May be Lego should sell a catenary add-on pack for the Horizon Express or any future electric locomotive engines.
