Review: 7710 Push-Along Passenger Steam Train
dr_spock replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Train Tech
The train is quite old too. It is the first and only train I bought. I think it costed me around $100 CAD in 1983 from the Hudson Bay Company. It wasn't long before I MOD it to something more North American style. Recently I bought a PF train motor and some tracks. Maybe I should make a baggage car or something to hide the battery. So glad I kept set and box together all these years. -

If you're a student who wants to spend more time on Lego and less studying for exams, we have a Ninja for you. Our Ninja will attend classes and take exams for you while you can spend your day on Eurobrick browsing all the beautiful MOCs. Our Ninja will also do your mundane task of homework, reading and term papers. Our prices are reasonable. Call 555-555-5555 for more information.

[MOC] Sumo vs Ninja - Ninja Month Ultimate Battle
dr_spock replied to dr_spock's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thank you everyone for your kind words. I think the ninja tried to use spinjitsu and sumo pushed him into the bars with all his great weight. -
Thanks. I wanted to build something that incorporated the other themes in the Action Themes forum. I had some Power Miners, Atlantis, Ninjago, and Alien Conquest sets. I thought air, land and sea might work to fit them. Maybe I can turn this in a ninja recruitment poster. The few, the proud, the Ninjas. We want you as a new recruit. Sempre Katana

dr_spock replied to sama's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It looks a bit like the US Army's HET truck. -
The kitten is so cute. Gonna have to get that along with the karate one...for my daughter.

[MOC] Buzz Droid - CBSWIII Revenge of the Sith
dr_spock replied to dr_spock's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thank you, everyone. I was taking it to my LUG's meeting and took off the limbs to transport. I found that the droid and the parts all fit inside the planet. -

I think my daughter will get a kick out of the karate set. Anyone know when they will be released for sale?
-
Well done. This looks like it could be made in a playable set for kids.

Pleased to see flick fire missles at the hardware store. We have public grills too in the parks here but they are not that big. Users supply their own charcoal and food. Maybe some plants or trees around the picnic area to shade the guests? Keep on grilling.

Not bad. You may want to include some "hydraulic" cyclinders to hold up the arms in your design. I am not sure there is enough friction in your technic liftarm and axle joints to support the weight. LDD doesn't take in account of gravity.
