  3. Yes, the first prototypes possibly had some safety issues
  4. In 1886, when a small Zombie plague broke out in London, the industrious Victorians didn't fear for their lives, they saw an opportunity for cheap labour, and within months the Zomabulator was born. Below is an extract from the first Zomambulator brochure; "The new about town transport for the discerning gentleman has arrived. Travel in style with the 3 gear zomambulator. Climb into the tasteful oxblood leather pilot's station, don your driving googles and you are away to your appointment! Relax as your own personnel zombie propels you to your destination driven by its unquenching thirst for flesh. And remember you are perfectly safe, your zombie is shackled to its wheel." Of course the reassurances of the manufactures did little calm the nerves of the more jumpy passenger whenever a mumble of "brraaaaiiins" drifted up from just behind their head.
  5. No one remembers how it started. So many have died, but we have been lucky,,,so far. This bunker saved us, it's cold and dank, but secure. We have even managed to grow vegetables, it's almost becoming a home.

  11. A Día de Muertos Parade in honor of the dead, though more in the style of the one from James Bond than actual Día de Muertos celebrations. This one is for my Ancestors
  12. I'll go for the obvious Halloween couch gag
  13. Thanks everyone. I'm glad you like it. Yeh, I think the architects of classic space have taken inspiration for 1970's Brutalist achitecture Nice.
  14. A self contained Research Base, built on a planet in the cold icy depths of space. The first floor houses the main access airlock and the lab and bio-dome where the scientists carry out all their experiments. The second floor houses the habitation block, with bunk beds, a kitchenette and toilet facilities. The third floor has a store and laundry and a second airlock allowing roof access. The roof contains all the communication equipment and an observation (or angry) dome. Larger pictures of the interior are on my flickr page.

  18. This is excellent, it looks like it could be a real set.
  19. The Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) may not be the most iconic building in Glasgow, however it is the only one that has an Equestrian statue of the Duke of Wellington with a traffic cone on its head outside, and that's the bit I really wanted to build. The GoMA was built in 1778 as a fancy townhouse for a Glasgow tobacco baron, the Corinthian pillars were added between 1827 and 1832 and it became a museum in 1996. It is also where the local goths used to hang out. IRL it looks a bit like this (the photo is from wikipedia); I'm having trouble attaching sensible sized images from teh internets, however a good view of the side is also here
  20. Wow! awesome! Thanks to everyone who voted for me. I had a great time building my maze. Thanks to Bob for running the competition and well done to all the other winners.
  21. Thanks Yatkuu, The spiders are a printed tile, which was only available in 4727: Aragog in the dark forestnot that I have that set, I must have got the tile from bricklink, it seems to be pretty cheap on there. and yes, the Jaguar temple does make it slope slightly towards the back, it's not too bad though. I should have thought of the counterweight, I'll maybe try adding one. Thanks Foton, you're right; the gap is just too small on the left.
  22. Thanks Everyone!
  23. Done! I got tired half way through and had to go to bed.
