Tyco made half-bricks that did this, but IIRC never full-size bricks. Besides, even those half-bricks were 2x2.

It is similar to a design I used a couple years ago--you can see it in the banner of my Flickr page, although that one doesn't have the exposed roots--and it seemed appropriate here. Thanks! That piece is pretty useful, and I have used it in more than one AG build already. It is also holding up the D.O.R.I.S. using the pins on the old flame pieces. Also, don't you usually spell 'Aristocrat' with an 'i'? Although it is humorous pronounced the other way...

Great landscape, but I like the speeder best, especially the details around the engine/reactor.

I quite like the look of the lab with the tanks and other details. It looks suitably industrial and chilly.

Nice technique on the trike-riding. Blewie is pretty cute, too, in a giant cockroach kind of way.

Pretty much sums it up Nice build, the mine shaft is very clean looking. I also like the alien craft, especially with the integration of Bionicle pieces.

That's a lot of olive cheese (a statement which would be totally misunderstood in any other context!), it makes for a really intriguing landscape.

Good end to a good story, and though it's a minor thing I love the comically huge missile over the microscale base

I am a terrible mech builder, so it's nice to see a good one like this! When I try again I will probably borrow some ideas you've used here.

I think the randomness of colors looks pretty authentic, IMO, although the sea floor is a little plain in comparison. One thing though: that brown hairpiece has gotta go. It sticks out strangely against all the bright colors and grey rocks. Criticism aside, this is a fantastic build! I love the shape of it all, and the hairbrushes are some serious NPU.

The truck is great, and I like that monster and sniper cannon. Looks like you hit the PAB wall recently?

Scorpio's D.O.R.I.S. had been malfunctioning again, so they ended up having to wait for it to be repaired. That put them leaving later than expected, and it was getting dark.
