  1. That is the cockpit from 6869 Quinjet Aerial Battle https://brickset.com/sets/6869-1/Quinjet-Aerial-Battle That's a great set it you have the rest of it there somewhere!
  2. That's really fun, and nicely built! The floating spiral stairs are really nice, and those trans clear elements have been incorporated very well.
  3. Regular price here is about $90 USD, so $53 USD is a pretty good sale price, but even at that lower price the price per piece isn't great. There are some larger elements in it which factor into that, but unless you have use for those parts I wouldn't buy it. Now, picking it up as a gift for someone at that price I think would be worth it.
  4. That's from set 41036 - Jungle Bridge Rescue. So that's both the bit of vehicle you have in the photo as well as the bit of helicopter. Definitely a fun set if you have enough of it there to recreate.
  5. Here's a resource that may help: https://brickset.com/sets/theme-Friends Just glancing through I believe you have: 3065: Olivia's Tree House 3183: Stephanie's Cool Convertible 3930: Stephanie's Outdoor Bakery 41000: Water Scooter Fun Also, if you have any pieces with stickers with a 4- of 5-digit number (sometimes used as license plates on vehicles), those usually correspond to the set number which makes it easy to identify them.
  6. Hi Jewels379 - welcome to EB! This should probably go in General Lego Discussion rather than Forum Info & Help. It looks like you've got pieces from several smaller Friends sets there (a treehouse, car, boat, helicopter) and a few Chima pieces including a Speedor. Could probably get more detailed, but as you noted it doesn't look like you have complete sets there. The paperclip/upload option on Eurobricks that you're talking about is only for very small images to be used in your signature line here on the board. For sharing photos of MOCs, etc., you'll want to use a 3rd party service and I think most folks would recommend Flickr, if not using a Lego-focussed image hosting service. Here's a tutorial on linking/embedding Flickr images in your posts: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/97921-flickr-tutorial/ Happy building!
  7. Wow, that looks great! Excellent reproduction of the original, and properly functional, too. I'm a little surprised you didn't use 1x1 bricks for the bumper/crash bar to capture the shape given how perfect the rest of it is, but opting for more stability with the Technic parts makes sense.
  8. That is horrifying and fantastic. You've done a great job incorporating those dino parts into a new body design! Very nice.
  9. Set 7592 - the old Buzz Lightyear set from 2010, I believe, unless there's a newer set that has a similar piece.
  10. Hi Csuji! Can you provide a higher-resolution photo? You'll want to user Flickr or some other hosting site and then link the image here, not use the Eurobricks image hosting (that is just for your avatar and images in your board signature, etc.). Or more context on where you found these instructions? It looks like it may be a robotic arm from an in-store building event or something like that since it's not typical Lego set instructions in either design or layout.
  11. So... I'm not sure where that came from or why you decided to build it... but it's awesome (and adorable)! Nice build on the bears themselves, and the chain is well done. As ExeSandbox noted, it could be a little smaller in comparison to the bears, but this is somewhat uncharted territory so who's to say what the correct scale is? I will say that I don't know how easy it will be to grip those bears during pitched combat, though! Very fun!
  12. Welcome to EB, Pabstat! Even if it was a short period, you have some wonderful sets from a true golden age of Lego there! Have a wonderful time enjoying them yourself and with your son. Happy building!
  13. I definitely agree that the Parisian Restaurant is the one to get if you think, ultimately, you'll buy both. If that one doesn't interest you as much and you're not worried about it being unavailable later, then the Diner is certainly a nice set as well.
  14. Welcome to EB, Gerco! That's a lovely MOC - so much going on and so many nice details! Would love to see the interior or the building as well if that has any detailing. Happy building, and looking forward to seeing more of what you come up with!
  15. Welcome (more officially) to EB, William! That's certainly an interesting vintage to collect. Are you only focussed on sets produced in that era, or do you also collect 50s-themed sets (like the Downtown Diner modular since you mentioned that line of sets)?
  16. What an excellent build! It all looks seamless and is a lot of fun to watch. How reliable is it? Did you often have to reset or fix anything during the course of the exhibition, or does it hold up pretty well?
  17. As I noted, they are not quite connected. There is a seam/gap at a 45° angle at each of the corners where the rails meet. So the rails themselves are definitely not brick-built and the length is not standard, but they also don't appear to be molded parts but either a prototype or modified/custom parts. Pause the video at 12:50, 1 frame before it cuts to the gunslinger minifig to see what I mean with the gaps between rails.
  18. If you freeze the video when they're doing the detailed look at the wild west build (the part that shows all the dynamite piled up at the crossing) you can see that it's definitely tiles at the corners and in the center of the crossing, but the rails themselves are either a new (prototype?) part or custom/modified Lego. If you look at the placement of the tabs on the inner aspect of the track where the ends of each section connect, you can see that they definitely are shorter than a regular full track length and where they meet at the center there's a 45° break like they've been cut to have the corners mesh. It is interesting...
  19. That's lovely... and they make an adorable pair! NPU for the flowers.
  20. The LDD file you found is probably the best you're likely to get. To clarify, the Target Hedwig giveaway wasn't a set, it was basically a glued-together statue so there aren't any "official" instructions for building one. Your best bet may be to grab that LDD file and fill in whatever additional internal support you think it may need, then order the complete parts list from there. If you do start that project, please share as I'm sure there are plenty of folks here who would be interested to see how it comes out!
  21. Wow, that's great! Any interior details to be seen? You've captured it very well! I agree with jimmynick that the framing around the windows would ideally be more like a plate wide than a brick, but I think it still looks great. One bit of constructive criticism: For the mulched planter area around the house, I think you should have the brown plates inset 1 plate below the green, not on top of it. That would better mimic the cut away sod, whereas right now it almost looks like mud running out from under the house. Definitely a departure from your castle stuff, but it's a lovely build!
  22. Welcome back to EB, RoryOC! As Retro said, it depends on what you think you may want to build, but just to quickly get some random bulk bricks back into your collection, I'd suggest keeping an eye on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist where people will liquidate their collections for pennies on the dollar when they (or their kids) are in a Dark Age. Just last week I grabbed a lot that weighed in at almost 70 lbs with clean Lego and a nice mix of stuff from the past 5-10 years for about $2/lb. Definitely a good way to build back up if you're not too picky on specifically what you want.
  23. I see where some of you are coming from, but I certainly agree that there's more actual negativity about it than there should be. No problem critiquing and giving an opinion, but some of the comments border on mean. I think Nabii did a great job with the design, given what TLG's market data and design team decided they were going for. I think part of the cool reception - I know this is true for me - is that at first glance it looks like a much smaller set than it is and doesn't seem worth the $250 USD price. The relative size of the tire tracks going through the gate also contribute to that as others have noted. But I think it's still a great design, and when you see someone interacting with it (like in the video) it's obvious how massive it is and suddenly the price and piece count makes more sense. I share the feeling that there should have been an Explorer or Jeep as well, but I see why it wasn't included here. This is definitely more along the lines of the Star Wars D2Cs that have a completely out-of-scale main build and then some iconic minifigs that are basically garnish, and for that kind of design I appreciate the little vignettes inside the gate and even the toilet there is really cute when looking at it as an homage display piece. If I had my way, I'd have liked the T-Rex with a JP Explorer and a few other small builds to go with it (chained up goat, outhouse/toilet, a few bits of jungle) and the appropriate characters, and then another set that was the main gates, JP Jeep, and a brachiosaurus. I think those combinations would have had both display as well as play/story value. I also agree with it being odd that people had it in their heads to expect a visitors center. I just don't see that being pulled off in a satisfactory way (unless it was a midi/micro scale build kinda like the current 71043 Hogwarts Castle) at any kind of reasonable price. I do wish the dinosaur was available as a large standalone Creator set - that'd I'd pick up in a heartbeat. Not sure about this, but my mind might change after seeing it in-person.
  24. Fantastic! No idea how this got so little attention last year! The lighting is really well done, as is basically every bit of the design. The main entrance is grand, the color choices are great, and both the brick/stone work as well as timber details on the castle are absolutely beautiful. Great build!
  25. Fantastic! The raptor with Rex's head is hilarious, and the other builds are great. I agree with Robert8 that the double skateboard is awesome, and the Elves one is delightful as well.
