  1. I think it is http://www.bricklink....asp?P=55982c03 + http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=62701 like in http://www.bricklink...em.asp?S=8183-1 But I also wonder what is the part used for the roof
  2. I am not sure there is an explanation for differences of prices between euro-zone countries, especially FR/BE/NL/DE (especially since the price differences aren't always in the same way). Why is this train 10 € more expensive in BE/NL than announced for example, did they sell other sets too well in these countries? :D
  3. Excellent work, it looks great :)
  4. Do the same regulation exist in all countries? If it is a US regulation, maybe it is just an European truck :) (well it would seem logical to not have exhaust near the tank anyway...)
  5. One big thing changed since 10 years: Internet. OK it existed back then, but it is only since a few years that it is popular enough. I suppose that the Lego online shop sells well (and it is a bigger margin for them, as they sell there at the same price - or higher - than usual resellers). Maybe the volume is small compared to common resellers, but I am sure that they sell much more there now than when they first made these sets that didn't sell well 10 years ago...
  6. All centre power rail trains were 12V. The one "before you time" that you refer to is probably the 12V blue track with power rail, which is completely compatible with the grey one ;)
  7. On the Lego Shop it is now listed, but in BE & NL it is 10 € more expensive than in neighbouring countries :/ (FR & DE)
  8. It looks great, I love it :)
  9. nice! I like that green train :)
  10. I also immediately thought to that one :)
  11. Update of what I posted back in 2010. Now more parts are accessible from my desk: Mostly sorted by color (and then often grouped by type). Some special parts, accessories, etc. are rather sorted by type when the color is not really relevant. There is a drawer just for wheels And then, less accessible (in closet), all the train-related parts and the baseplates.
  12. I agree... but with the opposing meaning : I do not like steam engines so for me the EN was uninteresting no matter how well it was made I prefer electric/diesel trains, and (in real life) the orange TGV is probably one of my favourites
  13. Same for the 12V: no problem with putting a 12V motor on the Maersk train, so I suppose/hope it will be the same for this one :)
  14. I suppose that most of us will get at least two of these, to have the end carriage matching the front. I hope they won't raise (too much) the price, cf what they did with the haunted house between the announcement and the start of sales.
  15. Yes they just posted it on their Facebook page: and more info here: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.475246919174529.109577.207089142656976&type=1
  16. I should have also contacted them then (and I even got the HH myself, at the full price)
  17. Thanks for the comments! "nearly working" Without a pulley to pull in the right direction, and with the friction it does not really work. A 2x2 lift in a 2x2 area does not work as well as the lift on wheels of the original building.
  18. (I hope it is the right category for this kind of MOCs?) I could have made this for the Modular Madness contest, but I had the idea too late, when seeing Cecilie's mini version of the MOC presented for the same contest. So here is it, a mini-modular version of my Parking Tower. It has a nearly-working elevator. It is at the same scale as the official mini-modulars, when compared to the original one: edit: pictures on my site, https://antp.be/lego/moc/mini-parking.php to replace MOCpage which is dead
  19. It may be justified for countries that have their goods shipped from a different factory (e.g. America vs Europe) or when the shipping is much higher (Australia/Asia). But here in continental Europe there is no reason for a different price for neighbor countries which are all part of EU and have their products coming from the same warehouse. edit: Yatkuu was faster To be honest, the Fire Brigade was 20 € cheaper in Belgium than in France, and for some time (I took long time to decide to buy it, despite the fact that I was getting it cheaper than French people). Now they are at the same price.
  20. Posted by someone on the Lego thread on forum.hardware.fr : anyone got some info about that ? (as I haven't bought it yet, even if it is true I could not benefit from that anyway)
  21. It reminds me of the april fool joke posted this year on the Train section: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=67990
  22. With free postage moreover? On the Belgian set we don't have that either
  23. Indeed, it was possible to checkout at that price. Now we'll see if they'll receive it or not. (at least one person from forum.hardware.fr - where I follow the Lego thread - ordered it at that price from France)
  24. 7. Hammerstein NWC - 3 3. TAFOL - 1 5. ZCerberus - 1
  25. 3. Praiter Yed - 2 6. Oky - 2 5. Mr.Brickman - 1
