  1. So did I... :-D Anyhow, it looks like Sponge Bob was a sucessful line for Lego, since there will be more, which is really too bad, as I've not been impressed with the line at all. Though maybe some of the new figures might be good and maybe we'll get some new undersea elements. Steve
  2. The Man in Black (aka Walter O'Dim, aka Marten Broadcloak, aka Randall Flagg) would make a good scary western figure. He is a wizard and major villan from Stephen King's Dark Tower series. Here is my very inaccurate depiction: Also this guy would make a good character. He is also from the Dark Tower series: And don't forget the "Ghost Riders in the Sky!" Steve
  3. I take spells like that. Then they slowly disintigrate as I pilage them for pieces for MOCs, when I get into a MOC phase... Steve
  4. Saw these over at adventurers.dk and yhought you all might like to see them: Egypt Steve
  5. I just looked through your pictures again, and had to say how much it makes me miss the good old days... X-D Steve
  6. This was one a bit more sparse than I would have prefered, but I couldn't think of how to put more into it, without making it too crowded or obscuring the scene. I buy (or used to) a lot of sets on clearance, so I've got a pretty good variety of parts from various themes. I did, however, have to specially order the executioner head. Steve
  7. Executioner: The whole capital gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=208730 Other alphabetic vignettes: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=191062 Steve Pic added by Yoda
  8. Another halloween vignette: The whole undead gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=207087 Steve Pic added by Yoda ;-)
  9. I think, like others have said, it just doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the theme. It looks like it belongs more in a creator set than a minifigure set. I also think the green is a bit too bright for the atmosphere, but don't know how you can avoid that (maybe sand-green, but they don't make the parts in that color). I still love the line... Steve
  10. My latest endeavor: The Travels of Johnny Thunder Steve
  11. If I didn't know better, I'd have thought it was real. I'd snap this set up in an instant if I saw it on the shelf. Love the designs and the figures. The only thing I don't like is the cactus. Don't know why, as it is a great idea and design. Hope to see more! Steve
  12. "Jo Jo was a man who thought he was a loner But he knew it couldn't last Jo Jo left his home in Tucson, Arizona for some California grass Get back, get back Get back to where you once belonged Get back, get back Get back to where you once belonged Get back Jo Jo" Steve, who can't believe someone didn't beat him to this...
  13. Yay! I missed the witty figure commentary. This is a fun little set. I think a bunch of them would make for a nice fair/market set. We need more sets like this... Steve
  14. I just saw this over at classic-castle. I'd love to do a project like it someday, though I just can't decide which theme to do it in: town, pirates, castle, wild west...? Steve

    Hmmm?

I imagine it has to do with the variety. The new one has four different style figures, while the older only has two. Plus peasants are a bit of a rareity, and the forestmen are quite popular. Steve
  16. Decisiveness is a virtue X-D God Bless, Nathan :-P Well I actually think the BSB is a better designed set, but the entire concept of the ITP is so great, I think it deserves a mention as well. When you've been collecting for 22 years, its hard to pick just one favorite. And then I forgot about the Gold City Junction, which is another great set... Steve
  17. I had to pick a couple. One from each of the theme's I collect: Dragon Fortress King's Castle Black Seas Barracuda or the Imperial Trading Post Steve
  18. No, I've not started back on AoJT4, nor have I abandoned it. But, I thought I'd share with you all the reason for this major delay. Classic-Castle sponsored a storytelling contest, which, given my my penchant for story writing, I felt compelled to enter. So, for those [two] of you who are have been anxiously awaiting the latest installment, hopefully this will help tide you over: The Wanderer Steve
  19. That would be my guess too... though I'm not 100% sure if the ninja was black or grey in that set. Steve
  20. Could we define common? Let's see... from memory: -Red was definately there. -I think yellow and blue came in the Shanghai Surprise -Neon Green was there -Pink, clear, and purple were not in either Adventurers or Ninja. So I'm going to go with green. Am I right? Steve P.S., now that I've checked, I can say there are an awful lot of colors for gems...
  21. I think the white ninja is a bit of a rarety also. Though for me, it is this guy, who came in this set. He's the only figure to come with a brown plastic cape. Steve
  22. Not really a series, like my other series. King's stories are so different from each other that the entries, in such a series, just wouldn't seem to fit together well. I have, however, done other Stephen King vignettes. Steve
  23. I had to use the bricklink cheat too. Though once I did, I recall very clearly it having one... Steve, who has two of this particular set...
  24. Here is a vignette I'm considered entering in the Halloween vignette contest. Its based of Stephen King's book, Salem's Lot. Hope you like it: The whole blood-sucking gallery. "Somebody saved my life tonight..." Steve

    Batman 2007?

I would be surprised if there was, as I can't think of any sets that would sell well to children. On the other hand, I would be surprised if there was not, considering costs to license the line. Steve
