  1. I'd like to see it done. We could have a lot of white buildings with columns, which would look really nice. I'm not so sure it will be done any time in the near future, since we've appear to have just gotten a pretty elaborate castle line. I think one historical line is about all the market (or at least my wallet) will bear. Steve
  2. I hadn't noticed them, or rather just thought they were photoshop effects. Now, however, they look like there are actual pieces under there. They look interesting. Hope they aren't crappy. Steve
  3. But a very useful tool for use civilian builders. Steve
  4. Looking good. I'm quite excited about this line and am anxious to be able to look at these on store shelves. Steve
  5. Love the sloping roof! Steve
  6. I do remember this, specifically the zebra striped doors. Never picked it up though. Steve
  7. I don't like the burnt orange corners much at all. Other than that, its a great creation. Steve, who wonders why Lego didn't make the log bricks horizontal rather than vertical (hope you're listening Lego, lets make some new molds for these, rather than crappy zwords)
  8. I'd actually been thinking about doing some of these from AOE2, since its more Castle-y. Steve
  9. Super tough choice. I really like the mythical creatures, but its a smaller set, so its hard to say it was the best. Jabba and Arkham are pretty great sets too, but I detest the flesh tones and don't want to encourage/support that. I don't have the castle, but I've heard good things about it. Guess I'll go with mythical creatures. Steve
  10. B-V-17A "In the meadow we can build a snowman, And pretend that he is Parson Brown, He'll say are you married; we'll say no man, But you can do the job when you're in town." Should have gotten this up earlier, but since it doesn't directly pertain to Christmas, I thought it was ok: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Athos/Vi...06/snowday1.jpg The whole wintery gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=220775 Steve
  11. I agree. I can't say how much I love the new move back to diorama brochures. This would make a great poster to hang on your wall. Steve
  12. What else I like is the design of the pictures. The sets are combined with other sets to make very nice diorama scenes, much like the catalogs of old. A great step foward or is that backwards? How about a step in the right direction. Steve
  13. I wonder who is in that cage. I hope its a good figure, maybe a princess? Steve
  14. That harbor looks great. I'll definately have to snag that one as my first town purchase in several years. Steve
  15. Hmmmm.... why can't I see the pictures? Steve
  16. Interesting title. Steve
  17. I hope the Sponge Bob sets are as good as the Krusty Krab set was. The harbor sounds interesting too. Steve, anxiously awaiting pictures
  18. I think there is also a way to do it using jumper tiles. Check over at C-C.com, and I bet they can help you out. Steve
  19. I'd prefer they didn't re-release the theme, I'd much rather they designed a new line of Western sets. I've got most of the originals and don't really need any more of those ones... That playmobil sets would look great in Lego. Steve
  20. I wish my bricks would come out of the closet so I could build. They're all packed away... :-( Steve
  21. Very nice. I'm quite surprised there aren't more of these. Someday I'm going to try my hand at something similar. Steve
  22. Book and it sounds grosser than it is... :-D Steve
  23. My parents think its a little childish and silly, but are generally positive about it. My girlfriend thinks it takes up too much space, though she'll go with me on Lego shopping trips and has bought me some sets on occasion. Some of my friends think its quirky and others think its amazing what you can do with Lego. And yes, the early teenage years can be a bit rough on your hobby, but don't give it up. You'll regret it later... and it gets better. And if your parents complain, just tell them its better than being into sex drugs and rock-n-roll... Steve
