I think there is potential to see a new pirate line in the near future (a couple of years or so). I don't think there will be a new wild-west line. So just given that, I'd say go with western. Steve

Disappointing, but not unexpected, with the price count and set title. Steve

I don't know. It felt like a pretty short-lived theme to me. I think this is, in part, due to the setting of it on Mars. There is only so much that can be done with a specific known setting like that. Whereas a generic Space line would allow for exploration of different planets (with different styled vehicles) and allow for more potential factions and sets. Steve

Lego could work this issue into a system that would be great for us long-term collectors. One year they could do Castle, the next Vikings, the next Pirates, the next Romans, the next Ninjas and then after five years, start they cycle over again with a second line of each set. Steve
