  1. I thought that at first too, but it looks very fleshy. The hips don't look that way and they are near the yellow too. Steve
  2. Marian looks quite similar to the new Castle princess. Maybe Marian is her dark-haired albino sister? Pity her dress is so low-cut that the fleshtones ruined it. Also looks like she has one flesh-toned leg, since Indy tore the dress. Steve
  3. What are we talking about? Isn't the gold armor, just the pearl gold armor that comes in these sets? Steve
  4. Animals, preferably farm or game. Remake the whole turkey piece. I'm not sure how this would work, but an arch piece that would fit on a 1/2 of a 1x1 brick, so you could have a row of arches supported by 1x1 columns (get it?). Printed tiles with paintings on them, so we could have wall decorations. Steve
  5. While it is a shame about the recycling of faces (a disappointing trend in all sets lately), here it doesn't bother me very much, since I'm not a fan of fleshtones and these heads will all go in the useless bin... except for the one for the Indy figure that will go on my desk, right next to the JT one that is already there... Steve
  6. Actually thanks should go to kecia at adventurers.dk/ for pointing it out to me... X-D Steve
  7. Inventory on Bricklink! Steve
  8. Looks more like a dirty undershirt to me. Steve
  9. Man, that's a lot of clones... 8-
  10. Henry looks great to me. The soldier is ok (I'm not one of those guys slavering for soldiers). He's about what I expected and will make a nice goon for JT to fight. I'm particularly happy that there isn't any fleshcolors on the torsos. Steve
  11. Generally I'm not a fan of bigger pieces. I'm sure there are some that I like -maybe BURPs, LURPs and the concept of the onion dome (why couldn't it be made symetrical?)- but for the most part -and the particular examples you've used, I don't like them at all. Steve
  12. Blast, how did I miss such a steal? Steve
  13. I think blue must be a cheaper color for Lego... Steve
  14. So are we talking about a 3rd color? Steve
  15. I am so very sick of stickers. *n* >:-( *n* That big yellow flag would have been great if it had been printed... with stickers, its just a big blank yellow flag to me... I might have picked up this set, for the figure and the flag, but not anymore... Steve, who is very disappointed with all the $%*# stickers... P.S. Great review! Thanks for doing it...
  16. That's because all the adventurer sets were made pre-color-change, while the batman sets were all post-color-change... Steve
  17. That's a terrible face. I really don't like the blue eyes. Lego figure's eyes have always been black dots (and more recently black dots with white dots in them), not detailed like that... It looks like a really bad custom... Hair piece is interesting though... Steve
  18. Maybe we'll get some tan dogs with brown spots? Steve

Give it time. There may be another small release later in the year (maybe two new sets like last time), don't you think? Steve
  20. I don't know about Sears, but at Target and Walmart and TRU the Lego aisles more than match the megablock sections. My local TRU had an aisle with both sides full of Lego, plus Duplo on a third aisle that it was sharing with M.B. Walmart has two medium sized sections of Lego and I didn't see any M.B. around. Target has a full aisle (plus the exclusives on the end of the aisle) whiile M.B. is sharing the other side with all the other building sets. So, I think your fears are unfounded... Besides Sears has turned into kind of a dump lately... Steve
  21. No Indy yet, but my local TRU had the new police helicopter and mobile command center sets. (yes those are new handcuff pieces we were squinting at). Steve

As long as we get H.Q. (in a cheap set preferably), I'm pretty satisfied with the line up. Steve
  23. I don't think its anything like that. I'd be surprised if we didn't see some of those figures at some point. They can't release them all at once. I imagine we'll get another group of sets in a year or so, with some of the figures that were left out this time. And remember how long it took to get Storm Troopers and Han in the Star Wars line... I don't see why they would be against the Last Crusade any more than any other movie. Temple of Doom got even less sets than the Last Crusade. Steve
  24. Nice idea. Too bad about that space... Though its only noticable on the bottom, so it could be used at the top only... Interesting solution with the neck thing piece. Steve
  25. Or a Lego flasher... X-D Steve
