  1. Wooo! Finally! I have been looking forward to this build for a while now. Awesome work! I love the detailed interiors, and the chicken coop looked perfect. Nice research! I had the same concern as Wedge, I thought it be silly to have arrow slits and windows at lower levels, as I guess if they are small enough, it can't really do any harm.
  2. Each build is awesome, I especially love all the tiny details. The hookah is amazing!
  3. MCB Book II: A Hunt in the Clan Lands | Janatale | Mitgardia AoM: Archery Phase I | Janatale | Mitgardia AoM: Archery Phase II | Janatale | Mitgardia
  4. That is good to know! I'm going to have to stop by my Lego store tomorrow or this weekend.
  5. Awesome color scheme, I also really like the shield you made for your one hunter.
  6. Team Nocturnus all the way! I look forward to destroying the evil Black Spire rebels! Also if there is still room in the PM thread, I would be interested in discussing our secret battle plans.
  7. Good advice about ironing the backdrop, I never thought about that, and perfect timing, Sunday is my ironing day!
  8. Thanks for the reminder, done.
  9. A hunt in the clan lands:
  10. Awesome work, as others have said, great rock work and the stream going past the the border looks great. I also really like the black border.
  11. That sounds awful! I know how you feel, I ended up breaking one of the light bulbs in the lights I use for picture taking, so now I have to a replacement from Amazon. Ugh!
  12. Thanks everyone! I'm glad people like the pond, I have about ~3,000 1x1 trans clear plates, so I am always trying to find new ways to use them. Yeah that's the tree! I have always been conflicted with rocks, sometimes I like to do one color, sometimes I like to combine them. I pretty much change my mind everytime I build rocks. Though I agree some more snow would be better, I mean it does snow year round up in the clan lands.
  13. Rasmus (Crawling in the snow) leads a group of his friends out into the Clan Lands to hunt the Northern White Wolf. A vicious dangerous creature the wolf is, however, its meat is a delicacy throughout Historica. The wealthy fools in Kaliphlin pay a lot of gold for the cured meat, which makes hunting the wolf worth the risk. Camouflage is an important part to hunting, and the hunters use everything in their environment to get close to the Wolf. There are 5 hunters in this picture, some of them hidden with camouflage, can you find them all? Two hunters hide behind rocks, ready to strike. This was my first attempt and creating a snowy environment. I found it harder than grass because of the lack of color. C&C welcome , especially on the tree, I modified a pine tree technique I found on youtube, and I think it came out decent.
  14. That works as well haha, I look forward to seeing it.
  15. I juts finished my MCB last night, and it includes a pine tree made from the grass stalk. Looking something like this: With a large bare tree trunk and then the grass stalks on top. I will probably be posting pictures of my MCB sometime this weekend. It's a very simple design but I think it looks pretty good.
  16. Very well done! So many details, I especially love the walls and the use of the black grill bricks.
  17. Wow, this is incredible, the inside of the dome is just amazing, it definitely has a university feel to it. I especially love the colors of everything and the two white towers.
  18. Unfortunately almost all of my white plates/tiles are tied up in a Mitgardian landscape build I have been occasionally working on. Otherwise I would have added some snowy areas. Thanks! As for the targets, these kids are new, they need to practice their short ranged shots first (And If I made this MOC bigger, than Phase 3 would have to be even larger and really don't want to take on too large of a build right now haha.) That's a really great idea. I actually never considered how the bottom of the roof looks, but being able to see under the bricks isn't ideal. Thanks!
  19. Thanks for the advice. I made some changes to the ground near the targets, adding some more grass and a tree stump. I also added some more slight elevation changes to the ground. As for the building, I took SoccerKid's advice and extended the roof to overhang the walls, which I think really improved the building. I probably could lower the house height, but then I would have to cut out the angled wood in the walls, or use really small windows, neither of which I wanted to do. I posted a new picture below:
  20. Great work. The really like the minifigures expressions, I can understand how terrible spring can be for them.
  21. Well this is just incredible, I could probably write a novel about every amazing aspect that I love in your MOC. The colors are especially awesome.
  22. Thanks everyone! Thanks for the advice about the roof overhang. I think I will play around with some overhang ideas I have and will probably post an update later this week.
  23. As a Delaware resident I am lucky to be so close to Dogfish head brewery and their 15-20% abv 120 minute IPA. In fact all of dogfish head is delicious, delicious beer.
  24. This is awesome. I love so many things about it, but the stonewall and gate really stand out. I also really like the windows and the angled wood holding up the balcony. The minifigure jumping off the balcony is also pretty impressive.
