  1. Just finished and posted my Archery Phase 2:
  2. Presenting Archery Phase 2 - Mitgardia Archery school. Here is where great Mitgardian archers learn the art of archery. Younger students practice on easy targets under the watchful eye of a Master archer. More advanced archers practice on life-like targets, aiming to hit the targets where the armor is missing. View of the targets from the archers perspective. Upclose view of the targets. After a quick talk with soccerkid about angling grass to create hills, I decided to give it attempt. I am pretty happy with the way it turned out. So I tried some new techniques that I have found throughout viewing other MOCs both here and other sites, including the rock wall, and the roof and walls of the building. I also tried to improve my photographing area to avoid capturing anything in my living room. C&C welcome!
  3. I don't know about everyone else, but I spent a lot of today building. I finished my Archery Phase II MOC and will take pictures and put it up tomorrow. As for a beard, I haven't shaved in a week, so I got the start of a beard coming on. Gotta get warm for the upcoming winter
  4. I need to get on the olive leaves bandwagon as well, I just got my first set with olive leaves so I'm excited to use them. Anyways, I really like the magic element! The melted snow/ice near the fire is a great touch.
  5. @RonaldusMaxus: Welcome! Your figure definitely looks like a wealthy man.
  6. I know others have mentioned it, but wow the rock work and landscaping is incredible. Angling the dark tan plates looks great. I've always wanted to try some angled landscapes as well, I just imagine it takes a lot of work to get everything to fit together like that.
  7. Thanks! I'm glad everyone likes the target. Probably a good idea, I have always struggled with taking photos of my Lego. I live in a small apartment so I am limited in space and lighting, and unfortunately my primary building table is round. Which makes getting good shots against a wall very difficult.
  8. I love the posing of the minifigures!
  9. Just finished my phase 1: Archery build:
  10. In his pursuit to become a better hunter and warrior, Rasmus gets help in the art of archery from his Avalonian friend: I'm very happy with the way my straw target came out, as I spent over an hour trying lots of different techniques. C&C Welcome
  11. Wow, this is just awesome! I love the trees, and the waterfall, and the castle is just incredible of course. I especially love the rounded walls.
  12. I love everything about this. The roof looks amazing, the stone wall is great, and I like the use of wagon wheels as a waterwheel. Also the bright blue door really stands out and really gives off a Hobbiton feel.
  13. I have plans to build my first Mitgardia build, but its going to take a while because I just started destroying/organizing my most recent large MOC.
  14. I'm still new here, but I was following the Guilds of Historica a little bit and now that a new chapter is starting I have decided to join the best guild: Mitgardia! I present: Rasmus Olander Profession: Hunter, Drifter Short Bio: Rasmus was born in the cold north of the Clan Lands. As a child, Rasmus was very sickly and weak, and his father, embarrassed by his son, sent him out alone into the cold at the age of 12, following the Clan's tradition of turning boys into men. His father expected, and hoped his son would die in the harsh winters of Mitagardia. Rasmus somehow survived in the harsh conditions but never returned to his home. He spent the next several years exploring the North, before wandering all over Historica. He has made many friends (and quite a few enemies) throughout Historica, though he has now returned to Mitgardia looking for his next exciting adventure. Hometown: None yet, but I am looking to settle down somewhere in the Tundra where I can hunt. Parts: Legs: http://www.bricklink...em.asp?P=970c00 Torso and Arms: http://www.bricklink...p?P=973pb852c01 Cape 1 and 2 (white and black): http://www.bricklink...gItem.asp?P=522 Epaulette: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2526 Head: http://www.bricklink...sp?P=3626cpb652 Hair: http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=62810 Sword: http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=93247 I apologize I do not have the flags for a standard yet, I just returned to Mitgardia and have an order in now to get some new green flags! P.S. How do I add links to text to make my parts list easier to read
  15. This is awesome! I especially love the interior shot of King Theoden.
  16. Wow this is an incredible design! Great part use for the interior of the column.
  17. I feel I am repeating everyone else, but this thing is just massive and awesome. I didn't even notice the warg's at first because they are dwarfed by the giant wheels and dinosaurs. I think my favorite part are the wheels, the size and design is incredible.
  18. Thank you for the feedback and merging my accounts. Also someone requested some more detailed pictures of the birds I included, so I posted a few below, which are pretty self-explanatory on how to build them. I love the new Legends of Chima line for the realistic bird wings. I attach the head to the bar sticking out, and the black/red tail goes opposite. The 1x2 black tile goes on top, and the wings go on either side: Also a big thanks for everyone's feedback and compliments!
  19. I apologize! Like I said, I have been lurking on these boards for a few months now, though never got the courage to post anything. I made another account a long time ago, and it must have stay logged in on my work computer for the past few months. Sorry about the confusion.
  20. Thanks! You wouldn't believe how many people have pointed out how inaccurate my whale is. Every time a friend came over and saw the progress of my build, they had to point out how the whale wouldn't swim there. And unfortunately I don't have any higher up pictures, The table I took the pictures on is counter height, and my tri-pod wasn't tall enough. Thank you! and you are probably right about adding elevation change to the cliffs, it would make it more natural. Haha, I will try my best to take some pictures when I get home after work either tonight or tomrrow
  21. Hello! I'm new to posting here (though I have been lurking on these boards for a few months now). I wanted to share my latest MOC: The Edervisk Mill and Tavern. C&C are more than welcome, Enjoy! Edervisk is a unique town that is made up of small island cliffs. The Edervisk Tavern is well known for its world famous fish sandwiches. The fish is caught locally and prepared below the Tavern, while The bread comes from the Edervisk Mill, run by famous dwarven bakers. People come from all over the world to visit the Edervisk Mill and Tavern. Complete set can be found here: http://www.flickr.co...157635223914459
  22. This is my first post here, so I hopefully did this quote thing right, but anyways, I was in the Delaware store last night buying some series 10 minifigures and while paying, the cashier told me it would be 50% off that day.
