  1. Jabba's Palace, Ewok ViIlage, Echo Base. I could also easily see it being $60-$80 (it doesn't have to include the entire temple, after all), and we've had plenty of location sets that size too.
  2. You never know, I gave up hope of getting a Phoenix Home set a long time ago. We could get a set next year with the Seventh Sister in it (Malachor's temple would certainly make a worthy set).
  3. Well, Kallus instead of the Seventh Sister does make sense when you remember that the Seventh Sister would require a new mold, and they weren't even able to do that for Ahsoka.Personally I'm fine with Kallus, since I don't have his helmet yet. I just would have liked to see a rebel crew-member or two (but again, they would need new molds).
  4. Both trans-clear and white blade pieces do indeed exist, though the trans-clear ones are rare (I just ordered some to use when I get this set). And yes, I would indeed be happy with the cost of the sets if select figures were given dual-molded arms/legs. Some figures would benefit from it greatly. One of Ahsoka's defining characteristics is her lack of covering on her shoulders, as well as the various designs cut into her sleeves, and this isn't represented at all in the LEGO figure, which makes her look a bit odd. And Sabine definitely needs some kind of arm printing, given that her outfit relies heavily on the artistic designs throughout her armor, arms included. We pay for the quality we get, so if higher quality figures means that we pay more, then I would be happy to do so. In regards to this become a similar issue to everyone expecting arm and leg printing on everything, well, leg printing is indeed on pretty much everything nowadays. Arm printing is still getting there, but at least in other themes it's still used when it needs to be (like on Spiderman in the Tanker Truck Takedown and Bridge Battle sets). So if everyone expecting these things led to them actually becoming common place, why is everyone expecting dual molding a bad thing? Obviously advancements in their printing technologies helped, but I don't think they would have had much motive to work on those advancements without people expecting a certain quality. EDIT: Just to illustrated how much better dual-molding would look on both Ahsoka and Commander Sato:
  5. Go back a page, the pictures are all there.
  6. Well that's rather disappointing. At least I don't have to feel like I wasted money building my own version. The build itself is okay. They did a decent job of capturing the likeness of the ship while making it playable, though the front end could use some work. However, the colors are very off and it detracts from the look of the whole thing. All of the tan parts should be bright yellow, and all of the dark red parts should be bright orange. The ship looks so much better with this color scheme, and much more accurate. And it doesn't seem like they did much with the hangar underneath, which is a major part of the ship. Hopefully that's just the angles we're seeing it at though. As for the figures, also disappointing. The use of Shaak Ti's mold for Ahsoka is passable, though she would have looked much better with a new mold that actually resembled her lekku. But both Ahsoka and Sato are very much in need of arm printing. Not even arm printing actually, the dual-molded arms would have worked wonders for both of them. I realize they're limited on the number of color changes and new molds they can make, but I feel like they could have adjusted their priorities to allow for a better final product. For example, they could have given us the Seventh Sister instead of the Fifth Brother. Due to her lack of armor, she only would have required one mold, freeing up a slot for Ahsoka. And I'm sure there are a few color changes that they could have done without to allow for dual-molded arms for Ahsoka, Sato, and preferably even Rex (dual-molded legs for Sato's boots would have been nice as well). Unfortunately I don't know all of the new color changes they had in this wave, or I'm sure I could come up with a few examples. Very disappointing that they couldn't even get the color of her lightsabers right. Overall I think we would have been much better off with the Liberator, which was Sato's blue blockade runner that he used after this ship was destroyed. It's much more iconic, they would have actually been able to get the color scheme right, and it's actually used throughout the season. And this is coming from someone who has been obsessed with the original Phoenix Home since we first got concept art of it. Even just an A-wing with Ahsoka and Sato would have been fine with me. The Rebels sets this wave have really just been disappointment after disappointment as far as the figures go, which is really sad because I love the series and there was a lot of potential with these sets. Yes and no. There are multiple "Phoenix Homes," that's just the name of whatever ship they're using as the command ship. The original Phoenix Home was the modified Pelta-class frigate that was destroyed in the Season 2 premier, which is what's featured in this set.
  7. Well no matter what type of ship it is, it's more than likely going to be one of Sato's multiple flagships, given that they're the only recognizable rebels ships in the show.So probably.
  8. She may not be the main selling point for everyone, but she is for a pretty big amount of people. She's definitely become one of the most beloved characters in Star Wars for those that watch the animated series, among both children and adults. She doesn't have to be the main selling point for everyone to be the main selling point in general. As much as I love Phoenix Home, the ship itself isn't all that exciting for most. It was seen for a single episode, and is really just a recolor of the Pelta from TCW. I would have never guessed they would have made a set for it just for those reasons, the Liberator would have been a much more logical chose, and since it's a Blockade Runner it's much more iconic as well. Actually the planned finale for TCW, the Siege of Mandalore, was going start with the kidnapping of the chancellor and extend beyond the end of Episode III. It's purpose was to show what happened to the characters not present in ROTS, like Ahsoka and Rex. I would imagine the Rebels finale will serve a similar purpose, and Rebels can easily extend past ANH as well. We could get an entire season or two post-ANH. There are rebel cells all over the galaxy, and the Phoenix Squadron cell has already been said to be very separate from the one on Yavin. The Ghost crew could have been on the other side of the galaxy during the destruction of the Death Star. Or the series could end with them all waiting on Alderaan for Leia. We really don't know, so all this talk about the number of seasons and such is kinda silly. We know from Freddie Prince Jr. that there will most likely be more than 3, but anything past that is anyone's guess.
  9. The Fifth Brother did sorta match up with the timeline though, he first appeared at the end of Relic of the Old Republic. And even Sabine's new look was only one episode later (plus, she uses the green A-wing later in the season). Those two instances were pretty close in time, even if the figures weren't on-screen at the same time. AP-5 doesn't appear until almost the end of the season, I'd imagine they would save him for a more relevant set (not to mention he would have been in very early development when this set was being produced, he might not have even had concept art at that point).Since Tua would indeed require another new mold, I think they might even just have Ahsoka, Sato, and some rebel crew-members/pilots. Kinda bland aside from the two named characters, but then again so are the figures included in many other similar sets. And they might even make a new mold for the rebel crew-members, given that no current mold really matches their helmets. Source?
  10. I wouldn't bet on AP-5 since he didn't come along until long after Phoenix Home was destroyed. Seventh Sister might be possible, though even she doesn't show up for several episodes afterwards.I'm just betting on Sato, Ahsoka, and some rebel crewmen. Probably another random figure or two as well, given the size of the set. Maybe Tua?
  11. I doubt there are any current plans given how far in the future that would be, but I'm sure they'll do another one eventually. They have this whole team built up from TCW and Rebels, might as well put them to use. I'm sure Filoni would push for another series, at the very least.
  12. They haven't said anything about how many season it will get, though it's been pretty heavily hinted at that there will be more than 3.
  13. Actually the Pelta used by Phoenix Squadron is indeed much more of a combat frigate than a medical one. It was fitted with multiple additional turrets (6 to be exact, IIRC), in addition to two forward-facing guns on either side of the bridge section, extra armor, extra engines, and the hangar on the bottom. In-universe, the Pelta was built to be modular. The variant seen in TCW is the medical version, while the variant seen in Rebels is the combat version. Given the name and how long it would have been in production, I would definitely bet on Phoenix Home being what the set name is referring to.Which I have mixed feelings about, if this is indeed the case. On one hand, I absolutely adore the ship and think it would be an awesome set. But on the other, I just spent almost $600 to build my own version and would have loved to see a Blockade Runner to go along with it. I'll most definitely end up getting it, but I might just use the parts and figures to augment my own. Either way, no matter what the ship ends up being we're definitely getting Commander Sato, which I am really excited for. Hopefully we get some rebel troopers too, I love their design. Plus, we finally have another Rebel capital ship set.
  14. I'm not sure I understand this mindset, how does Ahsoka being the main selling point automatically mean that the rest of the set will be horrible? It's Ahsoka, of course she's going to be the main selling point. The set and the other figures would have to be absolutely outstanding for this to not be the case. In fact, I can't think of a single figure that even could be included in the set that could outshine Ahsoka. It was discussed a few pages back, but that's all it was, a discussion. There has been no confirmation at all about Ahsoka's headpiece, and it sounds like even those who know about the set haven't actually seen it yet (or if they have, they're keeping their mouths shut).
  15. Ahsoka's the main selling point of the set, that's not the same as being the only good thing about it.Really I don't think anyone cares too much about what the set is. Sure, a Blockade Runner or something would be amazing, but at the end of the day everyone's only really excited for it for one reason: Ahsoka. As long as her figure is good, people will be happy. As far as I'm concerned it's likely just the standalone A-wing that has been rumored for a long time now, and I'm just as excited for it as I would be if it were almost anything else.
  16. It absolutely matters what the final concept art tells us. The concept art I'm referring to is the one that they use to actually make and texture the models, and also to nail down what colors they want to use. The colors used in the concept art for the Imperial officers are exactly what is used in the final model. We also know for a fact that the uniforms are unmistakably dark tan in scenes where Lothal's sun isn't a factor. Such as the following: http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/starwarsrebels/images/4/44/Tarkin-HS.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150202194757 http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/starwarsrebels/images/2/2f/Call_to_Action_30.jpeg (though this one takes place during sunset, you can clearly see that the lighting has no effect on the color of the rest of his and Kallus' uniforms) http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/starwarsrebels/images/a/a5/Rebel_resolve_1.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150212223135 http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/starwarsrebels/images/0/07/Tarkin_2.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20151115190939 Try using a color picker on any of these imagines. The color that you get is definitely dark tan. Whether or not it's closer to LEGO's dark grey can be debated, but it's definitely tan enough to justify LEGO's color choice. It really is horrible. It's way too tall, they either need to take some off the top or make the rest of the hairpiece more round.
  17. It's not Lothal's lighting, not sure why everyone seems to think that. The uniforms look just as dark tan on Imperial starships as they do on Lothal, and if you use a color picker on the concept art for them you will indeed get dark tan.
  18. I definitely hope not. It's too long, the wrong shape, and includes the weird long forehead. It just wouldn't look right.
  19. They're probably thinking of the Open Circle symbol, which was used for the Open Circle fleet, which was under the command of Anakin/Obi-Wan. This may be a similar case. The Open Circle symbol can be spotted on Hera's helmet in Rebels, so it seems to have survived into the OT era. Perhaps the New Republic took the symbol and modified it, and now use it for the new Open Circle fleet.
  20. I'm really looking forward to the AT-TE! There is indeed some room for improvement, but overall I think it looks pretty great. I'll probably mod some parts though, to increase the accuracy. My only real issue is with the figures. Not necessarily the amount (Zeb would have been nice though), but with the huge lack of detail on the clones. They seriously need arm printing at the very least, as it is they're missing large parts of what make the character designs work, especially Rex who is missing almost all of the blue paint he has in the show.
  21. I doubt it, Minecraft is too much of a money maker and there's still plenty of opportunities for sets, with the list growing all the time as Minecraft gets updates. To be fair, it's not as simple as that. A lot of the pieces in this set are large plates, which are going to cost more. There's much more to the price of a set than the mere number of pieces. Personally, I would have loved if they took out the stuff that doesn't actually belong (the trading post, the pig pen) and replaced it with a church from the game. The building is easily one of the most iconic parts of a village. And more Villagers would have been really nice. This was the one set that really didn't need Steve/Alex, I really don't know why they didn't replace those two with some other Villagers.
  22. That would indeed be pretty cool, I would be very okay with that.
  23. Well, except for the fact that the Mon Calamari ships are the only capital ships ever shown. You could argue that we just never saw any others, but doing so would be baseless conjecture. Like I said, as far as we know they were the first. And the Alderranian ships were much smaller cargo ships usually, which have tiny crews and are therefor easily stolen. Not so easy to steal an entire luxury liner full of passengers and security, and then retrofit it as a warship while lacking in any major shipyards, especially doing so multiple times. That would require either very unethical tactics (something the Empire knows the Rebellion isn't likely to do), or a very sizable infiltration crew (which again, the Empire knows is unlikely). And not only that, but the Empire kinda figured out what Bail and his crew were up to pretty quickly and blew up their planet, and then hunted down the remaining population to near extinction.
  24. Massive in comparison to what the Rebels usually have. The contributions by the Mon Cala were huge for the rebellion, and were the first actual capital ships that we know of that the Rebellion were able to add to their fleet. It finally gave the rebels a way to fight the Empire in space rather than just running away.Nobody says Mon Cala was liberated before the war's conclusion, we have no idea when it was liberated. I'm saying that there's nothing stopping Disney from having it liberated shortly after the battle of Hoth, just like they've done with Sullust. And that doing so has potential to be a really cool story. The same thing that stopped the Empire from retaking Sullust after it was liberated by the Rebellion in the new canon, it's simply not worth it. When the entire population is rebelling, combined with the forces of the Rebel Alliance, it's just not feasible to keep trying to maintain control, and resources can be better spent elsewhere. The Empire is trying to maintain control of an entire galaxy, it doesn't make sense to waste resources on a lost world when they could be using said resources to protect their other planets from suffering from the same fate. Neither Sullust nor Mon Cala have any resources of particular importance, so there's no reason for the Empire to try to hold on to them. World like Lothal on the other hand, which are providing crucial resources for the Death Star, are very important and do indeed warrant fleets for protection (especially when there aren't any other worlds at particular risk due to the insignificance of the rebellion at that point).
