  1. The characters packs for the LEGO Star Wars TFA game were just announced, and among them is a Rebels pack. Oddly, it includes the Seventh Sister and not the Fifth Brother (or the Grand Inquisitor, for that matter. Perhaps we will indeed be getting her in 2017's winter wave?
  2. Maybe it's just because I'm a Rebels fan, but this is the first polybag I've wanted in quite a long time. I need that helmet! Would have been nice to see the figure included in the Combat Frigate, but I'll take what I can get.

  4. Unfortunately, all of the pilots on Rebels are Human, so an alien pilot is very unlikely.
  5. I think the problem as far as figures and such goes right now is that there's simply too much Star Wars content being released for them to keep up. We have TFA, Rebels, and Rogue One all coming out close together, and on top of that LEGO still seems to want to put out some PT and OT sets as well (and their own Freemaker stuff). The previous limit to the number of new molds and such is being stretched too thin in an attempt to accommodate all the new content. However, all of this new Star Wars content comes with increased sales for related sets, so I don't think it would be too difficult to justify allowing for a few more new molds and such to keep the quality up. Or at least some arm printing.
  6. Unfortunately, I don't think the episode mentions a specific time of death, all we know is that it was around the time of the Invasion of Naboo. Could potentially be before, could easily be after. The Plagueis novel was the only thing to really explore the events leading to his death in-depth and establish a timeline.
  7. It hasn't really been said in the new canon, but in the old canon he died shortly after the events of Episode 1.
  8. Just to be sure, does the character have to appear in the movies? How about someone that was mentioned, but never actually made an appearance? For example, Sifo Dias?
  9. Are you referring to a minifigure? Because we have those, one was included in the relatively recent Skyhopper set with a new mold and everything.
  10. Well like I said, and as has been stated by Disney, the text in those images is placeholder stuff and not correct. Notice how the text on that page doesn't refer to the U-wing whatsoever, and instead talks about Rebel starfighters as a whole. Or how the AT-ACT page talks exclusively about the AT-AT, not once mentioning the thing the page is actually supposed to be about. And then there's the character pages, which all basically say the exact same thing about every character. Given all of the inconsistencies and obvious placeholder text, I think it's fair to take any text on these pages with a grain of salt. Not sure where you're seeing the size difference. Aside from it being completely impossible to tell the size from the new pictures, the ship still looks almost exactly the same as the original concept art we got, down to the size of the cockpit. Also, we know from leaked images from filming that the ship is indeed a very large craft in the final movie. Here's a crashed U-wing, which you can see is much larger than an X-wing sized craft.
  11. What makes you think that? There have been no visual changes to the design from the concept art, it still has the troop bay underneath. The text in those images is all definitely placeholder stuff, none of it really talked about the stuff on the page at all.
  12. I think it makes much more sense to pay more attention to the part counts, rather than the prices. The TIE Striker looks to be the same size as any other TIE, not sure why it would be bigger. However, it's also simpler than any TIE we've gotten before. The Prototype set had 355 pieces, the $30 RO set has 385, which is just the amount you'd expect for a TIE. There's only about a 100 piece difference between the $40 set and the $70 set. Regardless of the prices, they're both about the same size as far as part counts go, but obviously the $70 set has something driving the cost up significantly. Those two could easily switch, I ust think it's much more likely that people would buy a $70 classic AT-ST than a $70 random tank.
  13. Relax, it's just speculation based on the part counts. That set isn't necessarily the AT-ST.
  14. Inspired by the Anthology contest, and in keeping with the parallels between Ashoka Tano and Starkiller from The Force Unleashed, I thought it would be fun to create what I imagine to be Ahsoka's personal starship: The Wanderer's Shadow. Obviously inspired by the Rogue Shadow from TFU. Plan on building this one with physical bricks before long.
  15. I haven't yet, I'm going to here shortly. I'm only missing one, so it kinda slipped my mind for a while.
  16. As was said by them a few pages ago, the sets in specific that they had described to them are the AT-ST, TIE Striker, and U-wing. With that in mind, here's what we're probably looking at so far IMO:75152 – 385 pieces; $29.99 – TIE Striker 75153 – 449 pieces; $39.99 – Imperial tank? 75154 – 543 pieces; $69.99 – AT-ST 75155 – 659 pieces; $79.99 – U-wing 75156 – 863 pieces; $89.99 – AT-ACT?
  17. I don't get where everyone's getting the idea that it looks like a Snowspeeder, the cockpit is much more similar to that of the Y-wing. But still different enough.
  18. Thanks! Post has been updated with the new model.
  19. How do we know that said astromech doesn't appear in Rogue One?
  20. Solid feedback, thanks! I'll work on it, I think I have an idea or two that might help.EDIT: How's this?
  21. When it became obvious that diplomacy was no longer an option, those who opposed the Empire were given no other option but to fight for their freedom. Former Jedi Ahsoka Tano organized a meeting between a select few who had publicly spoken out against the Empire, and together they decided that it was time for open rebellion. Senator Bail Organa and his daughter Leia Organa would provide the funds, while Senator Mon Mothma would provide recruits, Senator Garm Bel Iblis would provide ships, and Ahsoka Tano would serve as the leader. Based off of a very similar scene found in The Force Unleashed. Since Ahsoka is basically the new-canon version of Galen Marek, I figured it made sense. Bail, Leia, and Ahsoka (of course) were all based on their appearances in Rebels. If only there was a way to add printing to Ahsoka's lekkus. LDD File
  22. Unfortunately one of my orders never showed up, so it still looks like it does in this picture. I also ran into a few construction issues that I'd like to fix. I have a lot of free time in the next month though, so I'm planning on getting it finished soon. I'll be sure to update this thread when I do! Not at all! In the end, including paint for some parts and shipping, it was about $600. I'm very sure it could be done for cheaper though. I used a lot of large plates that made the whole build more expensive than it had to be, and I chose to order all the parts rather than use my own collection. Either way, it's definitely not a small investment. It is pretty big though, so I think it was worth it (then again I also just adore the ship in the show, so that plays a role too).
  23. Unfortunately, it's not such an easy fix. At least one of the parts they use in red doesn't exist in orange, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few parts like that. Paint is going to be required to fix this one. Which is a shame, because the correct color scheme looks so much better (even with how crappy this editing job is):
