  1. I like that cat! She has a good color scheme and some nice lines :-D And she looks rather cute *wub* She reminds me of a cat I once had, but she died some years ago. My cat was called Brenda (like that Brenda from Beverly Hill 90201). I'll say something about the ship in a later post :-P
  2. I'll try it with some white pants and post a picture to compare. The US belt buckle was hidden behind a little black paper ;-) :-D
  3. Strange message:This Account Has Been Suspended - Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible. They didn't inform you in advance they were gonna suspend the account? That would be rather unprofessional!
  4. That's how Wellington would look with the red torso: The flags can be downloaded here: Napflags
  5. Can you tell us something more about the MOCs you have in mind? Which theme, big/small, ...
  6. You will find this technique for extending a mast in the INDEX: Accessory MOCs. My first post in this index immediately shows all the details. I don't believe it is supported on these forums to display a title when hoovering over an image. If you know how to do this, let me know. If you use firefox, new windows will open in a new tab. So you will have only 1 browser open on your desktop.
  7. This is beautiful Simon! *wub* When I look at these pictures from a distance, it looks like this is not Lego because it looks too real. Nice how you used the black/white bricks to create the lines on the side.
  8. I still need to start with the interior. I'm a bit lazy these days :-D But with the recent good weather in Belgium I wanted to do something outside. That's why I made these pictures of my English army.
  9. I suggest to have a look in the Index:MOC ships to get some idea's. Lego doesn't have that many suitable doors for a ships cabin. Maybe it's best to keep the one you have, but only have 1 door iso the 2.
  10. You have been very busy Mr. SkaForHire. Didn't know you had that many pirate MOCs. Some of these really deserve a thread for themselves. And I like that bag of troops!!!
  11. You might be right. I will try the torso you suggest. The reason I took the blue uniform is because that was the uniform that Wellington was wearing in the Sharpe-series during the Peninsular war. But I must admit that I didn't verify it elsewhere. Maybe I'll need to design a custom uniform for Wellington. That's him!
  12. Thanks for the pics. Seems like I need to watch the Episode 3 again. You're Lego model is really a close match with those pics!
  13. This is looking really good. Lots of space for troops. But I'm not a hardcore SW fan (but have seen all the movies!), so I can't remember in which movie this AT-OT was shown? Is there any picture available that you are using as a reference to build this model?
  14. I've got 138 Imperial Guards, 4 Officers and 1 Wellington.
  15. I agree with the part regarding the background, menu and advertising. I'm no fan of the rock background. It's to heavy/dominant. Something like he suggests would be better. The menu would indeed be better when smaller and I don't like advertisements. I have my own forum and website (you know: www.nijlengaatuit.be) and I'm just paying for all the cost myself to avoid advertisements. The costs are very minimal anyway. Don't get me wrong. I like the current portal, but there is still room for improvement.
  16. Nice vignette! I've added it to the library.
  17. I see this problem with many of the avatars. Just to select a few from this thread. I had problems with this to and I still think the head of my avatar should be a little bit brighter. The one from Mr. Phes is certainly bright enough:
  18. This castle still hasn't convinced me. It has great elements, but I'm not that crazy about the overall look. Thanks for these pics oo7. It's the first time I see all these details.

    Hi

Good to hear that your dark ages are over Paul! Welcome at Eurobricks!
  20. Very nice Duke! This is turning out really well. The masts have the right height, the ship has nice colors and a decent size. The windows at the back are giving the design something extra. You are right about the main mast. It need to be moved a bit to the back of the ship. I'm not a fan about those big brown doors to enter the cabin. And two of those for 1 cabin is a bit too much.
  21. Incredible Bruce! First time I see such a big microscale MOC.
  22. The more pictures I see from this set, the more I'm convinced this is one of the best SW-sets ever. Thanks for the pics Sam!
  23. Seems like you got some nice new sets! Are you currently working on a MOC?
  24. I might buy some Prussians/Austrians/Russians when they are not too expensive. I would like to see how those special helmets are made. For French and British I just use the official figs.
  25. As Norrington already indicated, those are the regimental flags of the British army. The one you mention is the 2nd Battalion 69th (South Lincoln) Foot Regiment (if I read the number correct from the pict, because I'm currently not at home).
