i dont know for sure, but the vikings was raiders, the use the same tactics as the commandoes during ww2 used. And a battering ram is used to end a siege, and that seemed a bit odd to me. it was nore easy for them to just go to the next town or place wich havent a fortress and take what they wanted there instead of laying siege to a fortified town. but on the other hand, here in norway history tells about several sieges, and then i pretty sure they thought about siegse weapons as one of the ways of getting past the walls/gates. they wasnt stupid and quickly picked up teqnic's from the countrys they visited ,eeh robbed :) but one thing you all get wrong is the horns on the helmets. We didnt use that kind of helmets. only one single helmet with horns on have ever been found. no painting/ drawings or other marks from that period show any use of that. guess the europeans thought we was enough scary sight without the horns :)

hmm. me and a friend of mine tried to make a world to fight in with our plastic soldiers. but we ancounted a problem. every time i made a map it allways ended up in a way that favor only one side. we just couldnt be objectiv. thats why i look so forward to see what comes out of this. if i get to a island in that area and he(lord admiral) have already made the islands i then would have to choose what kind of island i like best and then settle there. instead of making a island that suits me perfectly :)

Is this the same idea that you had last year? i think i saw a topic about this last summer. i then wrote you about some mapmaking . im looking forward to see drawings , or maps or mocs from that area. If it is one thing i dont like that much then its the fact that this is in the pacific . i would like it better if it was in Carribeanso that we could go to plces like tortuga or Port royal :-D just kidding. its your world so you can place it wherever you want :)

I like it :) . kind of what i could imagine a guard would have. so simple shelter would be all a guard would be given during his duty. but perhaps putting a torch on one or both sides of the openings could be good. and maybe having the two fences in the same height. but i like it as it is. :-D

Like the story mr Lorda admiral. just some questions. 1: this area , has the British king claimed all of it or could someone from a new country find them their own island and settle a colony there? 2. are you planning on being completly allone or do you have others with you in making the history /world ?

when i was home this weekend i made a parade for you. both because it look good and bcause i then can see how many troops i have. ... .... ... And im also waiting for the imperial trade station, just the seller who is slow and im restless until i get it :-D

ive been searching the net and tried to find any accurate angles. but it seems like a lateen sail and rigging do not have a 100% design- it was just triangular . but it look like that it have a sort of conic shape. this pic i found here with my letters on show us the angles A: ca55 deg B: ca 80 and C: ca45deg and on the pic mr Tiber put on the lateen sail have about these angles A(front): 60 B(back):85deg and C(top) 35 deg. so if you make your sails someplace like that i cant see how someone can tell you that you are wrong :-D

Nice one Phred *y* I see that you have a round thing at the end of the gun barrel. what is that made of? I couldnt find anything like that on my mlcadprogram.

Hi there. I made this in MLcad. after seeing something like this on the deck of the Xebec mr dukeschunke made. look ok to me. at least it is small. so it can fit into a small hull or as the upper deck gun of a larger one.

Nice MOC *sweet* does it have a name? I also liked the cannons. do you have a larger pic of them?

sorry my mistake. didnt read right :-$ i tried to do the searches in both the englisch the german and the french page and the same names came up. but when they make the page they could have used some english names because they were english or something like that.

could it be a sort if working title?? i saw that SES just had the name battleship 2 so perhaps the names are old working titles, that was changed when they was sendt out to the shops? or they could also been given new names to fit the country they was sold in..

Hi again mr simonwillems. did you have a plan when you buildt your tower? or did you model it as you buildt? its just so D***m good. i was begging my lego army to take it from you but they said it was to good to be taken *sweet* is this a single moc or have you plans of more imperial soldiers mocs to be joined with this?

very nice Moc Simonwillems. does it have a name or just imperial tower? like the style and the size. maybe i have to come with my army and steal it away for my own legoworld :-D . one question however. the yellow bricks you have used, ( to avoid the big grey wall syndrome) did you have a plan of where you put them or did you just put one here and one there ? i have a black fortress and im starting to think that it could benefit from some color. but aGREAT moc this:) really liked it :)

havent any new pics of my troops. but here are some old ones. Ive got some mor soldiers and guards since then. here's a newer pic. not a complete parade but anyhow. if i remember correct i have about 30 IG with blue eupalets and 24 IS and 16 Imperial sailors + some imperial guards as royal marines on my naval ships. will take new pics next time i go home. forgot my cam last time :-$
