  1. I get asked quite often what I am working on, I now keep some photos / videos on my phone or I refer people off to my website for details.
  2. Excellent work with this, I might even grab one of these sets and see what I can come up with :)
  3. I have built a few B models, in these cases it is almost always off the computer screen, I don't see much point printing them out and wasting paper / toner :)
  4. I have just pulled down the b model (race truck) to build this, it is truly an amazing model :) Very well done for designing this and sharing the instructions with us. http://paulstechnic.blogspot.com.au/2013/12/nathanael-kuipers-street-rod-c-model-of.html
  5. I have now pulled this down and built Nathanaels Kuipers street rod C model. http://paulstechnic.blogspot.com.au/2013/12/nathanael-kuipers-street-rod-c-model-of.html
  6. In the past I have built them, taken photos / notes and then destroyed them. With my latest MOD/MOC I am going to keep it and just buy new parts to keep building other MOC's :)
  7. This sounds a good move to improve the program.
  8. Another set crossed off my wanted list :) http://paulstechnic.blogspot.com.au/2013/12/model-team-5510-off-road-4-x-4.html
  9. Thanks for that, I just checked it out :)
  10. My latest purchases: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=5510-1 http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=42000-1 http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=9394-1
  11. I am looking forward to seeing your progress with this.
  12. Excellent work, thanks for doing this :)
  13. I agree about your comment on Technic. I sort my type / function and this works well for me. As we have a limited range of colours it is easy to pick out the one I need.
  14. Thanks for the feedback, I really had a good time building. I am keen to see what my work mates think of it :)
  15. http://paulstechnic....tmas-scene.html This is something a bit different from me, I don't do much with "normal" LEGO but managed to create this Christmas scene tonight. It will be living on my work desk until Christmas.
  16. The other day while I was working on my MOD to 9395 B model I did some searching both on here and on Google to see if anybody else had done anything like what I was trying to do. My results were not great :( This has got me thinking if it would be worth having a sticky topic with a list of all the various sets and MOC's based on a given theme. For example: Super Cars: 8880 - LINK 8865 - LINK MOC: City race super car (Random_Technic_Builder_32) - LINK Aircraft: MOC: Sea Plane (Jim_Tech) - LINK Tow trucks: 8285 Tow Truck - LINK MOC: Heavy Recovery Truck (TechnicGuy120) - LINK This way everything is in one spot and it makes finding what has been posted easier, the original threads would still be used for discussions, this would just be an index to them. Thoughts?
  17. I use one of these tables under my window: http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Furniture/Tables/OWBFLD6FGY With these shelves
  18. My blog: http://paulstechnic.blogspot.com.au/
  19. About 75% of my sets are on display, the rest are used for MOC'ing and modifying. I am planning on taking a couple of my display sets to pieces sometime soon. My latest MOC will be staying together forever :)
  20. I have now finally got this review up on my blog: http://paulstechnic....00-b-model.html I also have some ideas on how I am going to improve it and once I get my backlog of sets built it will be my next project :)
  21. Very well done, some excellent detail in this.
