  1. Hey, a quick question (and bear with me for having troubles explaining, I'm doing this out of memory since I'm at work right now - plus not having english as my first language). After building the first "X-part" that the wings attach to, I noticed that the little gears in the middle (the gearbox that makes the wings fold) might not be perfectly set. This causes the middle part (the one with clips on the sides) to slant towards the left side (seen from the front). So it tilts more towards the left instead of equally much towards both sides. If I tilt it towards the right side it is horizontal with the rest of the ship - with no or very little force applied. So my question is: Did I screw up? Do I need to rebuild that part? I connected all four wings and the folding-mechanic seems to work as it should. I'm just worried that it could cause some trouble later on, or strain on the parts. Or is it supposed to be like this? Sorry for the gibberish; hopefully someone understands what I mean here.
  2. I couldn't find it anywhere. What are the dimensions of the built AT-AT? Like height and width (as accurate as possible). I'm curious if there exists an IKEA shelf that can hold this. Also, what are the modifications people have done, to increase stability? Is it fine with just the technic bricks in the legs or does it "need" other things as well? I mean no disrespect to Cavegod - this is an amazing build for sure - but to be fair, it's pushing 10 years soon and I'm sure there are newer pieces that could improve the look (not that it's needed) and stability today. So I'm hoping for a "version 2" some day. :)
  3. No worries, at least I know you got it. Looking forward to hearing from you, but no rush. :)
  4. I sent an email about a week or two ago, but haven't received an answer yet. Not sure if it reached you guys, so I'll just write here. Would love to get the instructions for this one, I hope I'm not too late. Let me know what I need to do. :)
  5. This is awesome! I would've personally used a tiled floor though, but that's just a matter of taste. :) Any hope of instructions?
  6. The 3x stand pieces is no big deal - just a reason to build one in every color combination! ;)
  7. Awesome; can hardly wait. :) Have you decided on a reasonable price? Or will you go for the pay-what-you-want style?
  8. To you who have built this one - how sturdy is it once the legs are connected? Any risk of falling over or just spontaneously collapsing from its own weight? Also: Without putting any MOC to shame - which is the most accurate out of this and Jhaelon's AT-AT? I love the latter, and bought most of the pieces for it. But I'm not sure I like the front part of the body. Is it me or is it a few studs too short?
  9. Fricking awesome! Good job! :)
  10. Haha, thanks! I thought everything looked white and got confused; I guess it's just bright lights. I should be able to mod that one brick, but you never know. ;)
  11. Oooh, that color scheme looks great! The perfect mix between the white and grey one IMHO. Mind sharing the parts list (if you have it) and some more pictures? Would really like to use the same or a similar one. (Or is it an official color scheme and I'm just blind? :P)
  12. Awesome MOC, already bought the instructions through Brickvault. Can't really decide to go for the white or grey red one though. I'm still not sure which I like best, and what's closest to the movies. I wish there was a color right between white and LBG. Thoughts, people? :)
  13. As a matter of fact I am the son of a wealthy industrialist, philanthropist, bicyclist... Nah. Darn it. ^^ Very impressive MOC still. :) PS. You could always outsource the instruction-making to a third party, like Legolijntje (he's done the instructions for the Onecase Exectutor among other things) for the share of the profits or something. Would really love to build this, it's by far the most accurate AT-AT I've seen. <3
  14. I fricking love it! Would absolutely LOVE to see some AT-AT instructions at some point. Would be willing to pay for it too.
  15. I'm SO glad they're going for real sets and minifigs instead of the buildable figures.
  16. Darn. I would much more have hoped for an UCS-style outer "shell" of Cloud City, and openable hatches with playset-features. But I guess us AFOLs aren't the target audience here. :)
  17. Ooh, didn't even think of that. A "pay-what-you-want"-option would be really nice, and my experience is that the Lego community usually honor MOC creators hard work. :)
  18. I agree, that Venator is the perfect size. Looking forward to the instructions! Any thoughts of a price? :)
  19. Just a heads up: I just measured my IKEA Bestå and the inner height is like 58,2 cm. So it may be a tight fit, especially if WickedBrick have rounded their numbers down. (Plus it won't be as sturdy without the middle support, so don't expect it to hold 20 kg. But only the Falcon should be fine.)
  20. Awesome build! I've bought some instructions from you and we've had a little bit of email correspondence before. Will probably buy this one too some time when I feel I have the time (currently have both the Richboy AT-AT and Onecase's Executor to build ^^). PS. I'll say it again: You should do some Star Wars vignettes in the style of the Batman ones (especially the two level ones!). Would be awesome! :D
  21. Hi, Sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm getting increasingly nervous that my UCS Star Wars sets will be damaged in this heat. It's been about 35 degrees C (95 degress F) right now, and this have lasted for about two months and probably will for another one. Maybe these are laughable levels for some of you, but I'm getting worried. I guess it's some kind of fear of my bricks slowly getting damaged over time. I have the sets displayed on a shelf in a pretty small mancave - it's very humid but all blinds are down and there's zero direct sunlight. Should I be worried that there will be slight warping at these levels? Anyone with higher levels for an extended period who can confirmed that their Lego's are fine? :) Thanks.
  22. Thanks for the heads up, but I've noticed it too. :) The danger pattern 1 x 4 tiles for example. I assume those are replaced with just yellow 1x4's in the part list, etc.
