I think the point of his statement was to say that these companies can easily sell these products to unaware customers (such as most parents and grandparents).

Both have similar quality but I would recommend BrickArms; as it has a significantly wider range of weapons. or to simplify things

The best thing about LEGO is that it is modifiable. If you don't like their designs for minifigs simply create your own...

I like the way you utilized space in this; nice and logical layout! I also just noticed your fence technique, it's really nice. Did you create it?

I think you should make your MOC one brick shorter because currently it doesn't look minifig scale.

I've never went through with ordering replaceable parts but I think they're free. Anyway I think that being purist is only relevant if you plan to show off your builds. Anyone could create a really well done build if they were allowed to modify parts, by remaining purist there is a higher amount of skill involved. Personally I attempt to stay purist but I do order items that LEGO doesn't cover (such as BrickArms).

Love the use of SNOT for you tables.

To be frank, this will suck if it isn't compatible with MOCs! I'd love to be able to play with my digitized city but not the simplified (and likely overprice) sets.

I feel the same way, their superheroes are filling a niche in the market. Don't see anything wrong with buying them.

Wow! These knockoffs are getting to be really accurate now.

Using some of these designs in my MOCs now

Pretty good film although it could have benefited from an overview of the building layout.

Is this build intended to be minifig scale?

Do you still have the model? -
Just a couple suggestions: (I don't edit videos so my terminology maybe off) I think you should layer all the audio of a single battle to create better ambiance. A couple of the animations, such as crawling, were pretty humorous but could have been done better (maybe adding more leg movement and slowing it down). Great film though.

SNOT minifigs only please
ReplicaProfile replied to AmperZand's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I really don't mind exposed studs on minifigs. I think the minifigures in the collectible series lack studs because they are intended to depict subjects as accurate as LEGO can, so studs wouldn't fit the image.- 5 replies
