  1. I love this video and the 9 volt is a beast!
  2. You never fail to amaze me Sérgio! The locomotive has incredible detail on the bogies and roof. I like the music in the video, as well as I like the whole train in perfect harmony with your new locomotive! Excellent!!! Emanuele
  3. Thanks Davide, you are always very kind ...you can already imagine what the next chapter will be ... you provided me with the wheels! Emanuele
  4. As it is written, that is the Bluebrixx component...
  5. Chapter 1 of 4 Hello everyone, today I want to introduce my battery powered 7810. In some previous posts I said that I was working on the motorized version of the 7810, but the work took longer than expected ... even if it was worth it! The model is built for the most part with Lego, but I wanted to use: the red buffers (Bluebrixx), the 3D printed wheels and piston rods (Bricks-On-Rails) and last but not least the motor and the blootooth receiver (Circuit Cubes). What I never found when I googled around was a neat transmission system for a fast and powerful locomotive. The solution was the combination of the 20 tooth gear with the 12 one, to increase the rotation ratio without straining the engine and making it weak. The advantage of the compactness of the system made it possible to easily add lights as well. The locomotive inside is ballasted with lead to give stability and the correct inertia. ...three more chapters coming soon!
  6. Awesome truck and great features! The video with the truck in action is excellent and the quality of your photos is clear!
  7. Elegant and ingenious design despite the small size ... really well done! I like how you handled the steam valve!
  8. Hi Sven, probably no one doubts that your locomotives cannot always have the honor of ending up on the front page ...your works are so perfect that the opposite would surprise us! If I were to make a comparison between train MOCsMakers and watch manufacturers, I would place you among the great complications of Patek Philippe (with all due respect to other luxury brands)! There are many good builders here, but when I look at the cleanliness of your creations, the elegant style of your complicated mechanical solutions, the dedication to recreate realism by replicating the most hidden details ...then ...you beat them all! So also this locomotive is added to your private collection leaving me speechless! Beautiful livery, which combines black and dark blue, the wooden frame for the cabin glass and the red deflectors ...definitely my favorite model with the Ferrovia Eritrea Group R.202. Greetings. Emanuele
  9. Very cute!
  10. Wow, this is amazing ...the light effect is impressive and totally cool!
  11. Wow, I had completely skipped this topic, and only now I'm seeing all the design and construction phases! I'm lucky to have immediately seen the video and the photos with the (wonderful) final result. The articulated solution of the plungers is fascinating and the lights are the icing on the cake!
  12. Like you, I use warm soapy water and a toothbrush, but it is important to immediately dry the metal parts and the magnets- I use compressed air and a final touch with the hairdryer to evaporate any residual moisture.
  13. ...and you're very kind (as always) Ciao Davide, soon I will show the motorized BR98 (thanks for the new wheelset)! Thanks Dave! Thanks @XG BC I would not have been able to answer better NOTE: the lights at the bottom of my model are not illuminated because I would have defaced the structure with cables and LEDs
  14. Great work, you have caught the lines of the locomotive with great accuracy in spite of the width 6 studs. This excellent solution will allow you to have a lean and fast locomotive The handrails are made with an ingenious technique
  15. Wow, this topic is totally cool ...not only your amazing locomotive in 12V style , but also the study of the problems of encumbrance is faced in great way with images of the cases described! Excellent work Davide
  16. Hello @Asper ...I've used 2x blind shaft wheel size M wide design in black color (code: BRADB) and I polished the rear so it wouldn't interfere with the red flanged wheel. Going back I would use 2x blind shaft wheel size M narrow design (code: BRADS) in red color for better visibility
  17. I love this machine for the same reason! The collection of German locomotives is almost finished, I hope to show them all together ...one day...
  18. First of all thanks for the compliments! The cables you see inside the cabin are the extra connections that are used to power the front and rear light, as you can see in one picture under the roof there is a manual switch and a small 12volt battery in the 23A format (or MN21) . I think my locomotive is externally identical, it certainly has n. 4 extra clips to better fix the front handrails (bar 1 x 4), internally the structure to hold the front windows and the roof is very sturdy and I don't think it can be the same as the original one.
  19. Hello everybody, today I want to show my replica of this wonderful model originally created by Asper The thing that strikes me most about this locomotive is the size of the wheels and its particular running gear with connecting rod. I'm a bit disappointed that having chosen a black connecting rod because this is not particularly visible. The locomotive as my usual is equipped with front and rear LED lights. The locomotive is useful for sorting services on secondary tracks. Enjoy the show!
