  1. This is great, man. I really like the overall shape of the vehicle, and the little surfboard slanted to the driver's side. Great MoC.
  2. I have to say, this one impressed me a lot. I absolutely love everything about it, and i would proudly put this on display in my living room. I showed my wife, and she was baffled. If there is any way i could get the instructions for this, let me know. Thank you.
  3. I am not much into the whole construction / work vehicle Lego builds, but this one is a badass. I love the pictures, and the explanations of how it came to be the way it is. Great work.
  4. Fantastic. I love the military look it's got. Great little tires, too.
  5. I have always loved the old Toyota trucks. The classic BJ40 makes a fantastic crawler for real, so i'd love to see it done with Lego.
  6. Great stuff. I hope i'll have the skill to create something like this one day.
  7. Thanks for this! I got two sets of these, along with a set of 4 black 44772 rims. I'm pretty freakin' stoked...lol
  8. Thanks to all, for the helpful and informative replies. I looked over Han's instructions, and i'm not sure i'll be able to do it without taking it apart. Unless someone has a revelatory "DOH" method on how to do this, i might even strip it for parts and build the B-Model with Han's mod later on.
  9. I wasn't entirely sure where to post this, but i did an "8466" search and given the somewhat general title of this thread, i figured this would be the most suitable thread for my question. If it's in the wrong area, please notify me of my mistake and direct me to where i need to be. Thank you :) I picked up a used / nearly mint condition 8466 a while ago. It came disassembled (but stickered) in it's original box with the original instructions. I started the chassis back then, but things came up and the build was put on hold until a few days ago. When i finished, i immediately noticed this issue, which (i'm assuming) should be in the axle / steering part of the build. I rarely make a mistake i don't "catch" later in a build, but i decided to go back to the instructions and closely inspect the model. I couldn't see anything wrong with it, so 1 put the model down and told myself "It's 12 years old...it can't be perfect". Well, me being me...this irks me to no end, so....here i am. I have included some pictures of the problem, hoping you guys might be able to shed some light on what's causing this. More detailed pictures in the spoiler box below.
  10. Wow, that is a very admirable decision for you to make. I hope Lego will do something nice for you, too. Respect.
  11. It's not showing for me, either. Thank God i called the Austin Lego Store when i did, and managed to get the last one.
  12. Really cool. I love the overall shape of this MOC, and it makes me wonder what it would look like in orange. :D
  13. So far, i have seen some great mods. I especially like the color changes and the speed mod, which i'll be attempting to do myself some time soon. I really haven't done much, other than change out the wheels with the 8466 and 8110 sets' wheels.
  14. Hey guys, Here's my Boss's license plate number, as well as my first post on this forum!
