  1. I like this product from LEGO, especially the plate mounted on the front of the drawer. I am wanting to glue some white plates on the front of my sterilite drawers like the below. Any suggestions on what type of adhesive would work best?
  2. If you bought 20 or 30 you could build a nice looking modular.
  3. Hit craigslist and garage sales. $80 will be to little if you go new blocks route.
  4. Public Service Announcement: This time next month this set will be gone, get it now while you can! I was thinking about buying a couple more from Amazon and: We're sorry. This item has limited purchase quantity. We have changed your purchase quantity to the maximum allowable. This set has been around longer than any other modular, so grab it while you can. You resellers should already have your stock, stay away from the last bit please
  5. Got my vote!
  6. Yes, at that scale you will be investing a lot into this project. How about a digital model?
  7. First of all, consider yourself lucky to have the u400. Most kids never get the chance to own a set like that. I can understand why your dad wants to keep the $200 sets sorted out, that sucks in some way, but it will be nece in a few years wen you wan to put that set together again. Communicate with your dad, show him some mocs. If all fails, look for used lots on Craigslist or garage sales.
  8. Got $2000-$3000 to spend on blocks? Garage sales may be you best bet.
  9. Google pulled this up http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/261438
  10. I would also recommend the PS for mocs (unless you are mocking castles), but if you are still undecided I would grab the FB now!
  11. Google "shot glass display".
  12. I preferred the PS build much better. The GE is a good set, but very repetitious in its build. There is only one correct answer however, get both, and get them sooner than later.

  14. That train is less than a year old is it not? You have 9 months or so...
  15. Got my vote a few months back.
  16. Looks like a nice build. I don't care for the front doors. The pillars are great, care to share a shot of how you built them?
  17. My twin boys ( age five ) and I got 700 1x2 log pieces in the Holliday box
  18. Nice collection, what are you asking? Also where are you located? Where are you willing to ship?
  19. I grew up in that area, are there many AFOL around?
  20. I used a similar technique with a 1x4 arch here.
  21. I was just going to throw it away.
  22. Has the year 1891 been addressed?
  23. The Tyson's store is the best be in the DC area, as the Woodbridge store is larger, but the pab selection sucks down there. Ask for Gene @ Tyson's, he will hook you up with the goods!
