    Since 'jonwil' took city........I'll suggest Buck Rogers. 1. Buck Rogers in EDD uniform 2. Wilma Deering in EDD uniform 3. Ardala 4. Kane 5. Buck Rogers in NASA flight suit with double sided head (one being frozen) 6. Draconian fighter pilot 7. EDD fighter pilot 8. Dr. Huer 9. Twiki 10. Tina 11. Dr. Goodfellow 12. Hawk 13. Vice Admiral Asimov 14. Tigerman 15. Major Marla Landers 16. Hieronymus Fox (played by the late Garry Coleman) You get the idea.....though some of the characters might not be as important, but a cool a ray of good guys and a few bad ones too.

    Mid-year could still mean September as well ? There are three main Myer toy sales......April, June and September.

    Sadly 96/97 saw the town theme head in a direction of juniorisation and took another ten years to recover. Of that era I would of loved building the wild west theme.....who knows one day Lego might again ride off into the sunset.

    Talking about puppy power ? Serious now, ah.....I think it's only going to be the classic 69-76 Scooby Doo.......so no live action and the Hex Girls......I remember they appeared in the early 2000's. They would have to do some The 13 Ghosts Of Scooby Doo before getting to the later series.

    We need to see the rest of the 16 before we can judge this release.......perhaps then he could have a poll on them ?

    Well, Lego designers do try and base their city sets loosely on actual real life places, etc., but it would have to be in Europe.....maybe ?

    OMG .....somebody screwed up - the radio in the dash is upside down......hmm, maybe that should not be a tile but a slope piece though then I I'm not sure about the humble steering wheel fitting ?

    Thanks for the review 'nori', neat set though I'm only thinking of scratch building the truck for my layout......money doesn't go as far this year so swamp police is a miss for me. The truck looks solid, perfect for scrub bashing or escaping the cops. Actually the best part is the croc.......look into it's eyes ! Now the plane is cute but practical.......Brick On 'nori' !

    Really, I've never watched any of the live action movies........now I wonder if the sets are base on any cartoon episodes or just inspiration from the different monster characters ?

    Don't we all want more buildings, but Lego City designs love designing vehicles more than buildings......perhaps they need new designers eh ?

    Thanks 'Hoexbroe', I find it more flexible and realistic this way......our country towns....small ones not have drains and crossings like in cities.

    Well, if you don't like the small builds......change them but you do have a point I though this was an odd design. Ah, but they would say that's what creator and creator expert is for !

    I was looking into the original series images and the Mystery Machine used to have a surf board on the roof rack ? That might have made the van a bit too high right ? Plus August release sounds about right......mid-year toy sales in Oz are around June-July-August......yeah, we get toy sales over a three month period !
