Some extra trimming has been done..... Some special's signs on the windows of the supermarket. Some window signs and rolls of fencing wire. I've replaced the post bill pay sign on the door......a neat view down the street eh ? Of course more to come....keep as usual watching. Edit - chemist has a chemist now.....

I'm speaking in of general terms with the GS theme, many were hoping for an army...instead a handful of multi-coloured heroes that seem to fit the stereo-typical kid's sci-fi theme. Examples....Voltron, G-Force, TMNT, Star Blazers.....again a handful of heroes you see always and rarely anyone else helping them if ever. Though being Lego, buy a stack of one colour troopers....change the heads, bingo an army to defend against an insect invasion !

Tomorrow, you can add these BigW specials to the list.......Great Vehicles 20 bucks and Jabba's Palace 149....that one is coming down a bit now eh ?

Now how many of us see a pattern eh ? Kid's sci-fi theme........wild aliens........a small group of heroes in colourful uniforms.......how many TV shows and related toy products am I describing ? So Lego have decided to join the flock as well, of Ninjago was the start, next Chima.....add this GS.....what else then ?

Fantastic creation 'Legopard', so much detail and action going on.....the Tiki Bar and kid's play equipment are the high points......Brick On !

I like the shape of the craft 'Ludzik', though one blue weapon and one orange one looks a little out of place and out of balance. But I do like it......excellent designing and Brick On Fight On 'Ludzik' !

Doing my usual search for Lego stories and this one popped up from the 24th of October........Lego's CEO was in Oz ! I decide to meet at the half way point with the Landmark store so here we go...... I hope the large windows and side entrance look okay.....any comments are welcome.....though this building with stay as it is now.....I'm happy with it ! Keep watching !

Some of the heroes names sound great and then there's 'Billy Starbeam'........oh, boy sounds like a name some four year old kid came up with or the scriptwriters for Battlefield Earth ! What ever happened to names like Flash Gordon or Buck Rogers.....of course Lego-ised but not sounding childish......though in saying that my main character I used in my sci-fi writing about 30 years ago was Captain Spacely,,,,,,yeah, must related to George Jetson's Boss eh ? I'll be interested to see the actual attack craft on both sides to see where the inspiration for them had come from.
