What's with the negativity everyone......remember Lego is for children of all ages.....including us big kids at heart. That particular piece will be handy to make old school land rovers or prime movers even.....it's Lego only your imagination is the limitation to what you can do with it ! I feel bagging one part could be scooting in the direction of off-topic, we don't want to upset the mod's do we ? Anyway, has anyone seen the missing 14th set.....according to a Lego City contest over on Lego.com - part of first prize was all 14 sets for Lego City 2013 first wave.......could it be 60009 ?

Thanks 'monsinjor', and yeah stickers......hmm, I'll have to work out which brand of truck it looks the most like and logo it that brand I guess. My only problem is I need to buy replacement recycle and tipper truck sets now to replace them in my city collection.....oop's !

Thanks for the comments everyone, I'm happy with the white duco now and the cab shape as well.....I must conserve cash really at the moment....wife's 40th comes first....then back to Lego....well sort of !

Okay, so white does look better..... I like it this way now, changed the side holds to indicator lights instead....looks more realistic ? Comments still very welcome.....keep watching road roller is next.

Gee, there's a little bit of dislike for the fire sets eh ? But what's not to love about them.....new fire fighter torso's, new parts to make realistic ladder trucks, realistic fire station of course minus the fire pole where it is....too much Red Bull they have been drinking I think ! In Oz we have more yellow cement trucks than any other colour....I'm going to modify mine to say 'Boral' on it ! Great Vehicles a let down, that's your opinion but I feel that it's the same level of inventiveness and creativity in the design.....with my catch-cry 'realistic' !

AWESOME and HUGE digital creation, I like the trees....might I take inspiration for a smaller version of those....they remind me of Weeping Willows. The whole complex I could scale down, tigerfy it and bam....a cold storage depot stacked with fruit and/or vegetables. Brick On LDD On 'monsinjor' !

Excellent take on the modular fire station and flipping it into a coast guard base.....different and kind of funky in those colours.....I like it ! Brick On 'Bricksan' !

If you are talking of that 4x6 window piece with those characters on their.....it's from Ninjago and it's printed. I and do like the turtle set as well.....it's kind a cute !

Well 'KDM' you could always MOC one of those SWAT jeeps ! I will say the sets for 2013 are more realistic than 2012 ones except most of the great vehicles series. Still wondering what that 14th City set is.....we have images for 13 plus we are missing 60009 aren't we ?

Okay, so to go over these points. Yes, those of us AFOL's who create buildings, vehicles and scenery.......and can't buy....well only if cash is tight or there isn't any thing I want to buy. Compare trucks from 1997 to 2013 trucks......more detail, more realism, more playability.....so creativity is set to high. I do agree....why didn't we get a forest fire station.....better idea than a forest police station......slide rule got stuck there Lego ! Kid's always play either cops and robbers or pretending to be fire fighters.....and I guess astronauts as well. Lego will always go with their best pitch, that's why we see police stations a lot....their best seller I believe.

I must buy my wife the kitten one....she had a black cat with white paws from 9 years old to her early twenty's and still misses her dearly still after all this time.

City will always live on because of us ! All the vehicles compared to those of fourteen years ago show that not all the creativity has gone to Chima. Why so many fire sets you may ask......then ask yourself what you wanted to be when you were 8 or 9 ? (I wanted to be a fire fighter.....but I have a fear of heights ! )

Thanks 'soccerkid6', I'll have the sign on the office up on Monday plus I hope to try and have a road roller built so it can get to work on the freshly laid tar in front of Holden dealership. I just noticed the Octan tanker driver doesn't have the standard Octan torso......just the mechanic with two spanners in his pocket, (pity we weren't getting another female minifig....dam it ).

Or just delete them as who is going to look under the front bumper eh ? Why is it that Lego designers create things of wonder and yet include tiny mistakes......so called industrial designers, etc.,they need truck designers to design their trucks.....but Lego is Lego I guess and that's what MODing is for.....or better redesigning their wheel so to speak !

The only set I'll buy is the pet grooming shop , though the magic show is funky but someone should teach Lego how to make better speaker boxes.

Interesting to see everyone's excitement about which three GV's they like......though the common factor is quite concrete eh ? I'm trying see what shape that fuel pump is.....perhaps a diesel one for trucks.
