  1. Thanks, I agree it's a great way of combining more than one sub-theme together......a gas stations, hardware-ish store, pay phone, post box, it will grow from that ! Keep you know looking !
  2. I wonder if that list is real.....sounds realistic to me, I wouldn't mind a judge, plumber, downtown cop and waiter.......but a battle mech also sounds interesting !
  3. Thanks, and it's a big comb pump similar to the ones Shell/Coles Express servo's use......a stand alone diesel goes up tomorrow sometime.....keep watching (also some oil drums too ! )

  5. Thanks, I try to please the masses with my handy work......I chose to give my town a break for a few days and work on another pure Lego City theme......a dual sub-theme in fact......Lego City Rural and Lego Dudes (a male spin-off of Friend's) !
  6. Thanks for the comments and suggestions.....yes 'jonwil' I'm planning a diesel pump and an outside loo...eh, yeah I'll think about......could always say go behind a tree ! I'll update a.s.a.p. with the diesel pump shots once it's done......keep watching ! Edit - oh, by the way I will be building a NEW Shell roadhouse in the near future and it will use this four hose pump/bowser design.
  7. I chose today to combined my latest plain City style builds together so I present..... Octan Rural.......The farmer's friend. Supplying lube and fuel products as well as tools, irrigation and fencing materials to the rural sector Any suggestions, etc., welcome......I guess there will be more to come....so yes, keep watching !
  8. Excellent fusion of both an Earth and Draconian starfighters....... Brick On Fight On 'Ludzik' !
  9. I have had no problems with my 4207 lift at all, plenty of friction and a car sits on the lift platform still as.....no dropping ! But I do agree with you on why didn't Lego include a jack to help change tyres on a vehicle in the service bay ?
  10. It looks better single level and with that tilt towards Art Deco styling too.......Brick On 'bootz' !
  11. Totally AWESOME how you caught all the small details and lego-ified them......Brick On with an allen key 'Ecki' !
  12. Wonderful modular and that is an AWESOME and creative use for car windscreens ! Brick On 'castor-troy' !
  13. Totally cool design.....I hope to see it brick-built one day.....LDD On 'monsinjior' !
  14. Cool brick-brick and pale blue house too 'Selander'.....pity no interiors, but I do like the the use of a 6 wide vehicle roof as a small porch on your first house.....Brick On 'Selander' !
  15. Excellent.....a Lego-ised Nightmare Before Christmas eh ? Brick On Scare On 'Bizzy78' !
  16. A Lego version of That 70's Show eh ? Fantastic room scene.....ah, hi-tech entertainment 1970's style ! Brick On while playing computer games 'LegoJalex' !

  22. Okay, so I forgot to post this the other day, but until the 11th of November Toy Corner has their 25% off sale on again. Besides that TRU has some exclusive set bargains starting Wednesday for one week, 25 bucks off the robber's hideout and 20 bucks off the TRU truck/shop set plus the 4-in-1 super police set down to 149.99, sort of okay price wise though I think TC would be better for the four sets on their own !
  23. I think you are right too, I leave it as it is......I wonder if I need to make any more attachments for it ?
  24. The sets for next year involve lots of action, something to keep a child's mind interested for more than 10 minutes.....kids lose interest in something's in about 10 minutes unless there is action, action, action ! (hence little kids TV shows go for no more than 10 minutes, but say Ninjago run twice that.....why, well it's packed with action and a bit of humour too !) Lego might think a post office might be boring to a kid so they won't do it.....sadly perhaps lack of vision.....a robber could rob the post office that just received a gold bar in the mail ! Could City designers be running out of ideas so they must rehash old ones, pity they didn't invest the same amount of money as they invested into Friend's as into improving City.....though I'm still happy in what we are getting next year.....then again I guess I could also always MOC build a post office and grocery store right ?
  25. I was going to use different wheels but didn't have enough tyres so I would need to buy a fresh set of tyres and rims.....even modified plates for them to go on to the trailer.....when I have the spare cash I'll buy them......keep suggesting....keep watching !
