Dragon Bolt is pricier in European countries as well. Stormer last year was 25 USD, but 20 Euro. This time, Dragon Bolt is 20 USD but 25 Euro. It's almost as if they wanted to make up for that. Furno XL is 20 Euro, like Black Phantom, Fire Lord and Von Nebula. 25 Euro for Dragon Bolt is too much IMO. If I'll ever buy him, I'll wait for a sale. Sure, 5 Euro isn't much, it's just that it's not worth it. You can buy 2 CMs bags with that money.

Sets are finally out in the other European countries (S@H). I placed an order (Surge+Stormer+FB+a PA bag) this morning. I'm still incredibly annoyed we missed the Black Brain promotion by one day. Hopefully stores will find a way to carry out the promotion.. At least I got free shipping.

So I'm not the only one who doesn't like his weapon. The tr. neon "gatling gun" piece, the yellow piece and the spinning function give off a toy-like look I really don't like. And I agree about the wings. It's funny that the new blade/wing/shield piece exists exclusively in titanium metallic, yet it's been exclusively used in 3 Heroes (*) who always used silver as their main metallic/accent colour. Furno XL just couldn't decide whether to be silver or titanium metallic, so used both colours on him. * = I don't count the single piece used as the tail of "Rocka's jet"

I don't know if Lego is trolling or what. UK releases, as far as I remember, always followed European schedules..mostly, I would guess. The new sets are available on S@H UK, but not in European countries (save for Germany and Switzerland, as usual). At this point I doubt they are going to release the sets before August 1st. Shame, I wanted the black brain, I'm sure I'd find a use for it. I can't say I'm angry, yet I can't deny I'm rather annoyed.

Skip the whole Winter Wave except Furno, you aren't missing anything. I don't have the Summer sets yet (hurry up, Lego), but I think you should get Surge and Stormer at the very least.

I tried to ask Lego directly (relating to S@H), but the gist of it is that they can't talk about yet-to-be-released sets, by their policy. But I know it's going to be August 1st like 2012.. All themes are available on S@H, save for HF and Castle.

You might think it's just a typo, BUT GORUZ KNOWS OTHERWISE! Heh, sorry.

The new sets are out over S@H on August 1st (99%), but the promotion ends on 31st July....

I fear UK and Europe (except Germany and Switzerland, they're alread out there) are getting the new sets in August, like the past 2 years. I wish we got them in July, like Bionicle..

Thanks Zork, but I was mainly interested in Stormer XL+ BA helmet/visor. Still, thanks. @Aanchir: I get what you mean. Translations should never be literal, especially in cases like this. It might be a pun, a nice one too, but I can guarantee you that a native Italian speaker will process tempestivo simply as "very quick" and nothing more. The weather phenomenon isn't even taken into account, though it obviously is the origin of the term. At this point, I feel a more liberal translation would have been better, maybe a word pertaining to ice. Still better than the terrible Italian names cosen for the Beast Wars toys. As for Stormer's sword, glad you agree with me. Luckily, the tr. blue of Laval's swords is much lighter than the one on regular plastic (e.g. cladding), just like tr. bright green looked much lighter, almost lime-like, on BA Rocka's sword. IMO, the swords don't look so bad next to tr. light blue cladding. I thought it looked tacky at first, but I think it's the brightness of yellow that throws you off. I think the two blues are going to look a lot nicer on a more muted colour scheme, like Stormer's white+silver.

European prices are all over the place. For example, in Italy small sets are 9 Euro and deluxe sets are 13 Euro, while in France the former are 10 Euro and the latter 12 Euro. In Germany, deluxe sets are 13 Euro like in Italy but small ones are 10 Euro like in France. I'm using S@H prices BTW. That being said, Darking, you mentioned that sets in Spain are more expensive, but over S@H they are priced like in Italy. It must be your store . Zork, I have a picture request if you don't mind: what about switching Stormer XL's and BA!Stormer's whole head/helmet (/visor) assemblies? Thanks in advance.

That sure sounds Italian (and Google Translator detects it only as such), but I don't remember HF names ever getting Italian translations. Why Lego thinks a German buyer would be more interested in Italian translations than a Italian buyer would is beyond me.. maybe the store got the sets slated for the Italian market? There's only the Italian translation, no other languages.But Tempestivo isn't exactly how I'd translate Stormer. Yes, Tempesta means Storm, but tempestivo/a means something along the lines of what you said: on time, quick, highly receptive ("quick as lightning")?". The way I see it, Stormer means something like "The bringer of storms", so I would translate it as "Tempestatore". But even then, the verb tempestare has little to no relationship with weather, more like doing something many times, to the point it becomes annoying ("bombard with questions"="tempestare di domande"). Heck, let's say HF names shouldn't be translated at all: unless they sound cool, like Fire Lord/Senor del Fuego/Signore del Fuoco. Ahem, sorry for the rambling (aspiring translator right there). I thought it was fun to share. Anyway, glad you posted the helmet comparison, Zork. I thought the new helmet would have been bigger, but it's smaller instead- I guess it's because the visor makes up for it. But I think I live it better. I always thought Stormer's helmet looked too plain compared to the other Heroes' helmets. I was thinking to obtain another one so I can give it to Stormer XL. I agree this is the best Stormer so far- the flick missile launchers is the only thing I'd remove (and the usual ugly red axles, of course). I haven't decided if I like the sword yet, though. It looks good, but 1. a single-edged sword looks weird on a symmetrical hilt and 2. it looks too generic. A silver sword for an ice warrior? I would use a blue blade from Aquagon/Laval, but I'm not sure how tr. blue and tr. light blue (cladding) would clash together.

Could anyone who owns Stormer post a comparison between his new helmet and the classic one? Thanks in advance.

Zork, did you get them at a store? I don't understand, is the black brain a store exclusive or a S@H gift (like, say Ewar's acrofighter or the Hulk minifig)? I admit, I kinda like the little thing. My next order is definitely going to be over 55 Euro, so..

No, not just a recolour of course. A whole new villain set, but with features reminiscient of Furno, like his XL helmet, cape, fire knight motif..Just and idea of course. The truth is that I really want a Furno XL helmet in dark red or titanium metallic, for...things. And a fallen Hero. Not even Bionicle had the guts to make a truly corrupted good guy (no, I don't count the Hordika, Vakama's 20-minute betrayal or 2008 Takanuva), to this day I still wonder how Shadow Toa Ahkmou would've been like.

Hey, I did think about the crimson figure being an evil Furno, but I ended up forgetting to post it. Maybe because I already have an evil Furno in my story But he's just a modded Furno XL. But an evil dark red Furno XL as a 2014 set? Yes, please.

Wow, the crimon armoured villain sounds cool. I wonder if he is "Dark Maker" or not though. I mean, we barely know DM, we don't even have a set form of him so introuducing another big bad right away sounds like a waste. I hope the two are the same person, a dark red titan would rock (hopefully he'd be better than Pyrox). Also, he sounds like a huge villain. Hundreds of planets under his control? HF final villain?

So the German catalogue is exactly the same as the Italian one. I got this one in a Lego Shop a few months ago.

Got Worriz today, and the red blade is.. red. It looks very slightly more shiny than the red parts, but you aren't going to notice it most of the time.

Yeah, it's 10 according to BL. Seems right to me. I don't know if Lego would goo all the way with it, but I actually would like Brain Attack 3, just so we can get "Dark Maker", Nex and Stringer. Give each of them a rival, slap a random Furno/Rocka in, and we're at 7. And I don't care much for the black brain. For the first HF exclusive recolour, I would've liked a helmet or a weapon..but if this goes well, we might get something more interesting next year.
