Ghoulrealm, I noticed you have an exo-force arm in that amazing crab. Did you buy one of those robots?

I can't see the brickshelf gallery yet, but judging by the pics you did a good job, the only thing that is not working for me is the technic masts on the Le freedom. But the fort in the backround is awesome, better than the ships 8-

Bet you didn't see this coming...

If you consider Eldorado Fortress a small fort then yes, it is as realistic as Kings Castle, a smallish medium castle. I don't know, you asked me what LEGO sets I considered to be realistic, and I told you.

The mid-section of the wall has hinges connecting it to the other two sections so the whole wall bends. On the package the wall is bent, but Dr. Lucky decided to take pics with it not bent, but for some reason Lego took the left tower and but it behind the other parts of the wall on the box art. Click here for a visual guide.

Which LEGO sets do you consider to be realistic? This and this (without ghost fig)

I like my LEGO sets realistic. I still imagine this as a small fort. But in LEGO scale where things are pretty messed up, this could be a smallish medium fort.

Goodbye couch!!!

Phes, are these forts in the forum? Fort Cook by DavTab Imperial stronghold by Psycho187

Wow, great reveiw, Mr. Brickster, I am definatly getting this set, even though it is overpriced. Just a thought, It looks SO silly that scarcrow gets to keep a barrel, some hay and HIS SYTHE IN HIS CELL. Furthermore, the villians have no jail suits or strait jackets. Lego should have included these in adition to their normal costumes. I'm just going to have to make some mods and post them here when I get this. And expanding on ReZourceman's side note, that is Nightwing's cycle, not the batcycle.

But alas its not new... Read... How did you become interested in LEGO? If everyone strictly follows my format in the red text it shall be different than that thread because many people went off topic without telling their actual first set (It's not worth going into the details) |-/ But if you really want I can change the disscusion topic in ths thread to "Did you own Duplo, and if so, what was your first set?" :-P

I got a good idea for a new sort of game thing. My first LEGO set was: NAME: Eagle Stunt Flyer YEAR: 1996 (yeah, I'm a little bit of a newbie compared to most people here) RATING: *skull* *skull* *skull* *skull* out of *skull* *skull* *skull* *skull* *skull* What was you first set? (roughly following the format in red)

Oh, you meant this ship is to narrow. Yes you are right, but unfortunately I can not change that without taking out my airplane fuselage and replacing it with bricks that would make it look blocky and stupid or replacing it with LEGO hull pieces which I do not possess yet.

Try lining the main mast up with the second black flag and extending the main deck to put the aft mast flush against helm's plate. I would then build a stair-case on one side of the aft mast leading up to the helm and another one to the captain's quarters. That would be nice but if I extend the deck to the helm there would be no room for the stairs to below deck. Why is Evil Willy's ship named the Lotus? Why is Sean's ship named The Corinthian? There is no definate reasoning, the name means soimething, but part of the reason a name is given to a ship is that the name sounds good. Prometheus was a strong titan so the name implies my ship is powerful. Also, Greek mythology is always a good place to get classic, old sounding names. You can name a ship whatever you want, you don't have to build a ship named "The Green Parrot" out of mostly green pieces.

Ooo, approval from the City Mayor. I'm glad you like it Hobbes :'-) I could change the length of the back, but I think it is fine the way it is.

Those Imperial Armada faces are rare and expensive you know, but I do agree its good to have a variety of faces that isn't the original LEGO smiley face. Do modern LEGO sets still use that face anymore? Barely ever, the re-release airport has some and some SW has flesh smilies, but that's different. Phes, your so stuck in the past, go visit shop at home sometime. ;-) There's a yellow wine bottle? There is a yellow 1x1 cone but it won't look very good, I believe Sean meant to say a wine glass.

Sorry that this is really random, but I just had to point this out somewere. So, to get to my point- LOOK! Phes has a bigish close-up picture of himself featured on the official LEGO website, right here! I wonder why someone from LEGO used this head in that banner, it's only in 5 sets; 4 city sets 3 of which are really tiny and one racers set, all of which have been out of production for 4 and 6 years. The other two LEGO items on this banner are both from official LEGO sets, so I have no idea why they are on the "My Creations" Banner. *wacko*

Cap'n Roger-could you please elaborate on this, right now what you mean here is not clear to me. Sean-I didn't have to even think of it, it just came to me. Also, As I have no other hull pieces, the only other choice was to make it out of bricks. Mr. Syedow-Yeah, I was worried about that too and I spent quite some time toying with the placement of those masts. If you don't mind Mr. Syedow, could you tell me specificly which masts should be placed where. Thanks for the input guys, I'm glad you think think it's good, as this is my first pirate MOC and I have no pirate sets so I'm not sure what to expect.

V-LF-10A I hope this doesn't bother anyone because this set is kind of old. This is a very nice set, one of the best the City line and problaby the best Lego firetruck ever, but sadly, it still presents some problems for me. They are: A. Ladder cab hangs over the front windshield B. The whole back section had to turn when you turned the ladder C. There is no disguisable siren D. It looked too short when the raft trailer was removed E. There is no way for it to hook up to a fire hydrant F. Not enough room for both Firemen inside the truck So this is what I did. One thing I was very pleased with was the stabilizers, that is a very good feature. *y* *y* Here I added an air horn on an improved bumper, a siren between the top front lights, lengthened the cab by adding another window and more red wall and ceiling, put a gray section with nozzles and gauges on both sides, added another set of red lights for icing on the cake and replaced the radio with a silver pole thingy on both sides for realism. This back section is totally built from scratch. Even though the original swivel system had the good feature that it only worked once the stabilizers were down it looked very stupid when the whole back half of the firetruck swiveled with the ladder so as you can see I added a big red swivel piece and a black and red joint piece instead. I also have the same big compartment but also put in the smaller ones previously in the trailer. Here I relocated the string hose in the back like most real firetrucks would have it and built a shaft in which rubber hoses can slide in and out of Now this truck fits both firemen and the driver has a cool dashboard Uhhhg, that pic is a wee bit too blurry for my liking :-| . Questions? Comments? Criticisms? Compliments? Complaints? Everything is appreciated. ;-)

Neither did I, that's why I'm not buying it. I eagerly did that long ago. It was a really good review.

What is SR? Is that the actual name of the movie, or an abbreviation? I am almost 99% sure it is an abbreviation for "Superman Returns"
