I do not think the apricot parts suit this moc and I think more of them would make it look bad. I think brown would be a better colour for it like the way Ghoulrealm has builded it. Huh? at first I was going to ask what an "apricot part" was but then I realized it was a typo and it was supposed to spell "apropriot parts" but that was also a typo and it was really supposed to spell "appropriate parts", but now Cap'n Ironhook is saying that he "does not think the appropriate parts suit this moc" which makes no sense to me because if something it appropriate it suits the something well. And then he says "more of them would make it look bad" which is also impossible becuase as I said before, if the part is appropriate it must, by the means of its definition, make a moc look better, otherwise it would be inappropriate. Are my above assumptions correct?

Is it just me or did this boat have a small steering wheel in the pic that was posted in Vahkimetru's thread? For a small raft/boat it's very nice. I would suggest changing the tan/yellow peice for the top of the lantern to black or a grey peice of the same type. EDIT: ya know, red would be fine too.

In the box art yup, but there is a pretty simple but nice looking one in the BS gallery.

Good work *y* *y* I like that "Island of Punishment", it's very creative and a little humorous too. "Pirates Ye Be Warned" HaHa.

8-| oh, sorry I shall change that. won't happen again.
-
Oh that's OK, I don't particularly like Bionicle anyways, it provides for some great MOCs but the whatever Toa from whatever Nui story seems a bit childish to me.

I don't really care about if minifigs are fleshie or not, but I might or might not want POTC LEGOs depending on whether or not I like the movie. I also would like it if it keeps most of the same old molds, but according to style, if there would be an abnormaly large fort, bigger than the classic 1990s ones I would not mind.

No offence CustomClone, but you really do have an intellectual capacity of which a four-year-old possesses.
-
Imperial Guards it is then. The flag and figure head right now is just a joke, if get cool figs for this ship I shall change this. Thanks again for all your imput everyone ;-)
-
Sean- No, but I wouldn't want any for this ship anyway. Phes- I hope so, I do have a Bricklink acount and I've checked out Ebay before but there was nothing impressive enough to be worth the bother. But if I do get some "pirate" figs they would be impearal guards or conquistadors, as I like those better than actual pirate figs.

Alternate Names for Johnny Thunder
oo7 replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
How about this Indiana Jones X-D JK, maybe Joey Lightning or Tommy Hurricane or Billy Typhoon or Bobby Tsunami or Jack Monsoon or... -
Yep, I'm lacking true pirate figs thus my ship remains figless to this day. I do have one piratey guy with this head but I don't have a good headpeice so he's sitting alone elsewhere. Although I could have a small crew of skeletons and a monkey sort of like Ghoulrealm.

I was actually experimenting with sails when I built this and I made a couple out of paper but it didn't look good so I threw it out and now I don't have enough confidence to try and make any more. I have no official LEGO sails either but I think it still looks good. What's your second question?
-
No, I don't think it took me very long. The main chunk of it I built in one afternoon, but I revised it slightly over a couple of days and didn't get to post this for a week or so after that. Thanks for the feedback guys. *y*

Uhhg, I can't choose between 6598 and 7237 |-/ . But nice poll Hobbes, and great set descriptions too. *sweet*

what irony. i am so happy for every lego star wars fan here. if lego DOES come out with a new x-wing, that is just........just FANTASTIC. given this set has just been released twice already i am SURE people would definitely prefer a new x wing compared to a new republic gunship or ATAT walker. i just CAN'T wait to get my hands on them if the lego marketing department is really going to release a 3rd x wing because they relize EVERYONE wants to buy another one so they can have three models of the same ship. Wow, Custom Clone, you're mood towards this "Star Wars garbage" has changed very rapidly over the last few days. This post is conveying a message with the exact oppostite meaning as some your recent previous posts. Sometimes people might not know what to believe.

Here is a link to my ship, The HMS Joe Vig!
-
HMS Joe Vig 19b, HMS Prometheus 26b The HMS Joe Vig. And my 100th post. I think I did pretty well considering this is my first pirate MOC and I don't have any pirate sets (as I was a bit young when most of them came out :'-( ). I built the hull out of the bottom half of the fuselage from the 7893 Passenger Plane and I used a spoked wooden wheel for the ship streering wheel thingy (what are those things called?). I plan to add a second mast but at this time I don't have the pieces. Stern view Bow view Ran out of pieces here. Hatch to below deck here. Captain's Quarters here. Any Questions? Comments? Criticisms? Compliments? Complaints? Everything is appreciated. ;-)

It has an good color coorordination and has lots of great details, but it is too tall compared to its length. The bow is also too low compared to the real model.

Hey guys, I just noticed this, EUROBRICKS is an external link under the community catigory in the Wikipedia LEGO article!!! (Scroll down to the bottom of the page) YAY!!! X-D

Ah, Spite Your Face Productions, that's the people who made that brilliant reenactment of the Monty Python Camoelot song from the Holy Grail that was included on the special edition 2 disk DVD set and can be found here. They also made a Star Wars and Spiderman film that was used by LEGO. Sit back and enjoy the media on that website X-D

Very nice, but I think you should remove a deck considering it's length. The two big flags on the back is a little bit of overkill maybe you should just have one centered flag. I am also curious to why there is a musket hanging on the outside of the hull and why there is a sailor standind on a small ledge slightly below that musket. And as with every ship I think it will look even better with some string riggings. ;-)

The batman licence is providing me with enough superhero sets right now. I like batman better than Spiderman anyway. Although he is better than Superman. LEGO also recently bought a Sponge Bob and Avatar licence so I think they have enough theme sets for a while. Sam- Mega blocks has a Marvel licence that includes Spiderman, The Fantastic 4, and X-men but nothing is specific to Spiderman 3.

I was refering to real life ships. British man-at-arms had large crews and such. Unless you're also refering to real life ships and making me confused. I think Mister Phes is also refering to real life ships and therefore problably getting you confused. When you wrote to "British man-at-arms" it sounded like you are refering to a ship, but the only meaning of that term is a Medieval soilder (whose British) and the Eldorado Fortress along with the reat of the pirate line is set well after the Middle Ages so now I'm the one getting confused.
