After thinking long and hard the pirates have my vote.

Hi all, sorry I've been away for a week or so. Now I'm back and I see that Lego has made a viking chess set soon to be put on S@H. I was inspired by the discussion in that thread about other ideas for chess sets and I found some really cool ones on brickshelf including these pirate ones; ChrisMinamyer's board vol4807's board nico-strassburg's board I would love to do something like those! *wub* And as always, which one is your favorite?

After I wrote this I found scans of the pirate comic book on peeron. It mentions the name of the monkey multple times in obvious places but the name of the parrot is hard to find. Now you expect me to give you a link to tis page I'm refering to, well I'm not, so don't bother asking. You have to figure that out for yourself.

Pirate Lego sets are too old to still be sold in stores but you can buy them off ebay Black seas barracuda or if you feel more comfortable, Black seas Barracuda

wtf?!? The sheilds are sticks!?! Oh well, it could be worse. I am overjoyed with the reurn of the chrome greatsword! Ugh, the floor of the first floor is green. :-|

It looks nice but the stern castle is somehow out of proportion with the rest of the ship, maybe it's too short or it's too blocky, I think something is wrong. This is really nitpicky, but I've never liked those blue lanterns, black ones are a lot more realistic.

Plain green? Yup amazing, ain't it?

This is inspired by DMC, I presume? Vigs are traditionally on 8x8 stud squares, so I would call this a diorama. Overall it looks pretty good, but put in some trees, some actual wood, right now all the leaves and palms are growing out of the rocks.

D'OH! Now that I read my post again, I didn't mean Chad, I meant Libya, I problaby got them confused because they are right next to each other! :-| The Flag of Libya is really nifty and creative!!!

Because some immature people think it's funny. P.S. Chad has the coolest flag!

Now I'm really confused! Everyone is arguing where Holland is, but WHO THE HELL IS THIS HOLLAND IN THE FIRST PLACE??? *wacko*

I don't think this is worth it, there is a bunch of ships which you don't even know if it contains all the pieces, and there are barley enough minifigs for them, including the 3 KK1 knights and the ninja with a pirate hat. Although I do think the buildings are interesting enough, but they problably have no interier.

I voted for Arkham, it's just as cool but more realistic than the batcave. I want to get it soon. That Japanize junk is not even worth mentioning!

Yeah, that's the most common browser (I use it too), but there is also Netscape Navigator, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera, Etc.
