  3. one annoyance about bricklink is that you can't make the results default to US or whatever country you like. I can't pragmatically by things over seas when the shipping costs are so high.
  4. you are not even joking. Spent about 20mins there and I think I might have lost my wallet. I used go to ebay and found that a lot of the stuff I bought there was almost double what I could have paid on bricklink.
  5. Just checked out rebrickable, what a great site! Thanks for the suggestions, gonna look the optoins of bricklinking vs buying sets.
  6. thats nice d3k, I got a buggy set too, jsut trying to figure out what to do with the motors, if you have more details on how you built it, please send it to me.
  7. I'm looking to build some cars and possibly some of Sheepo's creations. Was wondering what woudl be good sets to get for parts?
  8. IS the chassis based on the MPS system ? I can't decide between this one or the lnad rover to make first. this might move to the top of my list !
  9. holy cow- how will I be able to efficiently source parts for this beast! can't wait for the instructions! Great work, I am amazed
  10. I feel that it slowed thecrawler down a bit with a minimal increase in climbing ability
  11. If you re-orient the diff case on one side I bet you could use a direct connection right ?
  12. So I guess if one side gets stuck it will transfer power to the other side. gonna give this a shot later.
  13. Hi all, I came across this transfer case on MOC pages, I was wondering how it works, can someone explain it ? What is hte benefit of it ?
  14. anyone put the rc buggy 5292 motors in this crawler? I just got a pair of them and want to try this out.
  15. thanks guys, gonna try soaking my power puller tires in dawn for a bit. its a shame they cam from a smoking environment.
  16. I've been using the first method in the following post till I get get another servo motor. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=54104 Works pretty good

  18. I will censor myself, but my first reaction was HOLY ******* **** !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. I wantee to get the stench of dusty basement / smoke out from some of my old sets and tires. What would be the best way to do it ? I have used dish detergent for bricks and let them soak overnight that seemed to do the trick, but the tires I am afraid would get damaged if I tried that. If anyone has suggestions I would love to hear.
  20. I'm having tremendouse difficulty trying to get XL-motors into this crawler. I would love to see someone put up som pictures with some ideas. I don't know what it is I have access to some goot spare parts but my mind is frozen I can't figure out how to do it. its just one of those mental blocks.
  21. Hi all I just picked up this set new in box. I had a question before building, what would be the number one reccemendation to change from the standard building instructions ? I am leaning toward the steering friction issue. I plan to mod for RC later , but I would like to get it built optimally first.
  22. thanks guys, I confirmed it was the shock. oddly enough when switching rear shocks side to side it sits perfectly straight now. Another question- for the xl motors, are there additional parts needed or can they be implemented with the stock pieces of the 9398 ?
  23. I had a question, I just got this model and it leans to one side. Could this be an issue with the shock or the servo? Thanks.
