  1. Atomica is a member of the Crime Syndicate, who were brought into the New 52 during Forever Evil. She did not replace the classic Atom, she was a spy for the Crime Syndicate, but she also wanted to be a hero.
  2. Possible Killer Frost in the show? Ew no, she's a Firestorm villain, please let that be. Also, does anyone know how I could find the number to my local Lego store? I plan on going Saturday and want to know just how many (if any) Martian ManHunters are left.
  3. I said I'd be waiting for another Superman set, meaning I was impressed with the first and want more diverse sets that have non-Batman characters in them, as well as more diverse villains. I didn't like the Man of Steel sets, and feel that it is kind of strange that Lex is my only non-Batman villain. Superman vs. Power armor Lex is by far one of my favorite SH sets, I find it funny that such a fact would be in question.
  4. Well considering the source material had boots, I feel it best to see the actual minifigure with boots. As long as the figure can pull off the bootless look, then fine. However this look on the Flash came out awkward to me and with a repeat Batmobile, Riddler, and Batman, then I don't see why I'd haul over 30 bucks to get 3 things I already have, for one minifigure that didn't even impress. That's just the way I see the buy, plus I feel the DC side of things is being wasted on one character, so I'll just wait till this one character starts pulling me in like others have, but for now, I'll keep waiting for another Superman set, Flash set, or or hopefully GL set. And no, I won't hold my breath
  5. I'm on my mobile so linking is a challenge, but when I get a good parts list down, then I'll PM,
  6. Welcome to the forums from a fellow Floridian!
  7. Korpen4444, are you referring to King Shark in your post? I believe the famed Suicide Squad member is who you're referring to. If so, please do make a purist Deadshot and Harley Quinn while you're at it. Also lovin' those 90's Supermen!
  8. The suit looks great, except I feel they should've thrown in dark gold boots to balance everything out. Not yellow boots that would look cartoony, and this all-red look is why I won't be picking up the Riddler Chase.
  9. If this is so, then I again recommend the Harley Quinn series. It doesn't seem to be affected by Forever Evil, and has a great blend of humor and action. Unless of course you feel the need to read Suicide Squad as well, then this could easily be your only DC title.
  10. I don't think it's fair to say that any Polybags are easily available nowadays. It's a matter of perspective that is varied among customers, where they live, and how generous the scalpers around them are feeling when they see the polybags. That said it has become increasingly harder for me to find polybags in my region.
  11. That's confusing, I thought Arkham Knight would be a new nick-name for Batman, not a villain. Peculiar indeed.
  12. Thank you for editing your post with a picture 'amazingbricks' . That minifigure does look nice, though I doubt it can be used as a polybag since it appears to have a new mold. Maybe they can get away with using the Hazmat suit? Either way, this is speculation and I should probably stop before this post (and others) gets dubbed "off-topic"
  13. Could you please post a pic, I haven't gotten my March calender yet. I will advise you not to get your hopes too high up , since I had a similiar question last year when Jimmy Olsen appeared in a Man of Steel comic, and I was told that Lego has used minifigures that haven't appeared in real sets before in their comics. I sure do hope these minifigures are teasers of great things to come. Thank you for the information.
  14. I haven't read Harley Quinn #0, but as far as breaking the 4th wall goes, it didn't do any of that. It was like a regular comic, is all I can say, then again I'm horrible at verbalizing. I do recommend you pick it up, though. Also wondering if anyone has been reading the Green Lantern series, since Sinestro is getting his own title in April, I want to know if he got any real development in Green Lantern so I can know whether ornot I should pick that title up. I know the entire first arc was about Sinestro, but just curious if anything happened there that would be essential to a new book that I should start to know about.
  15. I find this unfortunate, they're retiring sets faster than I can purchase them, and I was looking forward to buying both the GE and TH. I guess I'll be purchasing one this month, since they're both priorities now. Chances are I won't be able to pick, though. I say this since GE is probably already gone. Well, that's life for ya Freddy.
  16. I too enjoyed BtB to an extent. But I guess obscure characters are never such big draws. "There's a reason they're obscure, and its because they're uninteresting." I see that one a lot. It would apper that the general populace doesn't understand that a character can truly be interesting without being plastered over every advertisement.
  17. I'd love a Birds of Prey set, would especially love to see the original trio together as well.
  18. Great job ianmrid! You did your best to put Squirrel Girl together and she came out looking great. I'm very fond of Stargirl and think you pulled her off great. My only problem is the face, which is not your fault. In theory, a smiling face with red lipstick would be great for a minifigure, but the lips came out huge and unattractive. Perhaps changing the head on her would really make this bunch stand out even more. So I salute you for these minifigures you've created but hopefully you can avoid the female heads from the Indiana Jones line in the future.
  19. Welcome to Eurobricks, where a Lego addiction is anything but weird!
  20. Only 3 females in this Series? Not to happy about that, but its obvious the appeal comes from the males in the Simpsons if they went that route. Hope the figures turn out to be decent at least.
  21. So yesterday I picked up all 3 Harley Quinn issues from the New 52, and gotta say I really like them. They are very well written, the art is almost flawless, and the humor is abundant and genuine. If you look closely in issue Number 1, you can see a young man holding up a cardboard sign that reads "help me stay off my student loans" and its details like this that I look for and love in comics. While I was there, I also flipped through She-Hulk Number 2 and must say the art is atrocious. And to think I was gonna pick that title up, I'll read it later to see if I like it. Also unsure of the exact release date of Ms. Marvel Number 2
  22. Well since the Teen Titans are the only characters who got their designs messed up in the New 52, I don't mind the New 52 based minifigures that pop up in sets. That said I truly do despise the Riddler Chase. I'm not a huge fan of Batman, and the fact that one of only four of this years system sets are taken up by a re-hash of a villain, a re-hash of a vehicle, the same hero that populates each wave, and only one new hero who didn't even get leg printing doesn't make me any happier. I think all of this years DC sets are disappointing, really.
  23. The Flash was announced at SDCC, the Huffington Post has an article on it, and Imdb has listing on it. This was also confirmed by the Hollywood reporter, though that article seemed a bit fishy. As for Wonder Woman, a link to Gal Gadots contract waslinked some 2 pages back, confirming that she signed up for a solo Wonder Woman film, a Justice Leaue film, and Superman vs. Batman. I just wish they'd go a bit slower with these films, but oh well. Simply going back a page or Googling this would have gotten you an answer. Hope I helped!
  24. If I had to choose just onne of the mny things that interest me, I'd have to go with the Force, and my own Padawan of course. That is if I even bother to use my powers for good
  25. Considering the fact that DC is getting its Cinematic Universe dragged by Warner Bros and Marvel is being controlled by Disney, I don't think the comparison is fair game. Plus the Flash is getting his own film, and so is Wonder Woman. It's all up to who WB decides to have make the movie. Yes Marvel seems to be at the top of their game Movie-wise, but I'm not sure they'd be doing that good had Disney not swept them off of their feet. At least that's how I view it, since I didn't really like Marvel films before the Avengers.
