How about this for convincing: join Kaliphlin, please? Great backstory, and some very impressive introduction builds!!! There are many adventures to be had in the various guilds, and we all know Kaliphlinites earn more frequent sailing miles then any of the other guilds. On another note, I am pretty sure GoH will still exist after challenge VI.. .a lot of us have talked about what to do next, and we may even see some more member driven challenges in the future.

Well it turns out that my second bricklink order (not from the seller I was talking about earlier, he was great!) accidentally sent me exactly 1/2 of the order that I bought! as in I ordered 200 of each piece and only got 100! Luckily I counted that time... haha.

To try to defuse the situation... I think he was jesting that you should join Avalonia. Also, there are no official uniforms or reserved colors in GoH -- just the flags. I think Avalonia has an official army fig though...

Most peoples collections are best suited for one of the two "green" factions. I think that is why the majority flock to those two banners. I would say it all depends on what you have in your collection. If you have a lot of rock color or tan, or rock color and swamp /black, the other two guilds would be happy to have you too. On another note, Northwestern Kaliphlin looks like southern Avalonia with plains and some trees. That is where I am located, although I mostly MOC desert.

Agreed. I am pretty sure I can get an entry in... but as the battle of Queenscross gets larger and large and is technically a series of free builds (also it need to happen in the story before my challenge entries!) I am getting worried haha.

Great work! You and Massa were totally up to the challenge! I think I will have my first build up soon... I am building the bridge at Queenscross for the battle, but I am going to "enter it" as its own build I think, as we only have 40 days left.

Really nice wall design here, it has a lot of character, and looks very impressive. Now if I ever do build walls for Eastgate in MOC form, I have somewhat of a template to follow! I like where the story is going so far! (I think it is continuing? or was this the end?) I am glad you got her out safely, now I wonder what she has overheard and if it will be useful at the siege of Queenscross.

We are at a tie, so I will keep this open until Wednesday to see if we can entice any other voters. Otherwise, I guess we will have two "Defenders of the Weak."

Now that was an impressive workspace with a view! Way to cover your butt! Well, I guess stating the obvious is not CYA. No, you did a tremendous job over in the Sci-fi forum, and I wish I could have found time to participate.

I guess I should mention that I do sort mine in a hybrid of what many of you do. Bulk by color in stero-lite shoebox size bins, with a few smaller baggies. I used to use tool drawers with my old collection, but did not have them here with me. Recently I bought three to use, and have been slowly sorting smaller parts into them. Although... I love that tackle-box idea, and may have to at least move my MFs to those. We have two large shelving units we store all of these one, and my fiance is in the works to create a canvas tent looking cover for it so that it fits into the game rooms ultimate theme = 1930s safari adventurers room. So, the whole storage area is going to look like a large tent coming out of the wall, so when you open the flap all of the Lego will be inside.

I bought from Brocks Bricks I bought from Brocks Bricks You know, I have always tried to sort by color, but your system makes a lot of sense if one is not separating by part and color, it is probably much easier to do by part. I have no idea how big this collection is, I am still pretty sure it is not as big as my original collection that is in storage back in PA -- but it is getting there. I have to be approaching 50k pieces, not counting figs.

I sometimes count, but in honest, when I BL, i get bulk orders... 2500 pieces are on their way right now. I don't have the time to do much more than eye them. I really need to get a better sorting system though! Mini figs are another story... I count those for sure.

Really good story so far... but wait a second, did he kill the dog? That might have been lost in translation... Anyway, the builds are really top notch, and well photographed. I like the many, many details you have included in your rocks and walls.

Excellent job, we have been waiting since the last preview and you did not disappoint! Looks great, I like how you finished up the construction portions, and the hut is neat with that roof style. All in all, a formidable sturdy gatehouse, and an awesome army. Although... When I do the battle, I probably can only represent the vanguard of this unit in figs... But, like DaMax's army, we can probably make a plot point of where this army serves in one of the secondary fronts of the battle.

Cool, good to see the league of heroes coming together... I should be able to very nearly replicate everyone's so far... Although I am having a hard time getting the Zurg armor for Masa's I thought I had one, but I guess not. Kai, what is that head from?

Good work. I agree with the plates discussion already posted. I like the trees and the flowers are a nice touch! I like the story,GEAR Co. would love to get a few kegs of that water! On another note, is that a table-top gaming mat underneath? hehe

I really like your cave - your sideways building for the one side, and then normal building on the other mixes really well. It took me a minute to realize it was two different directions. I also like that the lizzardmen ride their cousins... I so wish I would have bought some of those raptors. Can't wait to see the next portion of the story. I just showed this to my fiance, who was very surprised when I told her she got written into the story months ago. She loves it though.
