I have volunteered in the past to help run challenges and storyline when that dark day comes that our guild leaders ascend into space leaving us poor historicans to our own, I think we could easily have a committee that rotates after each chapter. That could probably keep us going 5 years or so, no problem.

When I used to live in PA, going to Disney always meant going to PaB, that was like half the excitement for a trip there. Then I moved there, and I didn't utilize it near enough (even with discount!) Luckily, I moved to within 50 miles of two stores and an imagination center, and supposedly a third store is being opened in my city soon. But, there are those places like Nebraska, Kansas, and Montana that it is a long haul from any Lego store still. I think TLG is doing a great job expanding though.

IF the top secret next project is really a GoH like Sci / fi theme, I may have to join that too. I have some pieces for it already. I have almost the complete line (and multiples of many sets) of the exoforce stuff just laying in boxes. It does not sell well on ebay (I thought it would be a hit, so i used my Disney discount and basically stalked the Downtown Disney store for months waiting for deals on that stuff. Low and behold I bought a ton, and it never accrued any real value over the last five years. I guess it wasn't the hit I thought it would be) It will be hard to split time on two major stories (I clearly can't do both LCC and GoH to the same level now.) I will probably just end up giving more time over here though.

I agree that a general history of the Revolword War should be written after Challenge VI, I joked a long time ago that we would probably need a professional historian. (Don't look at me, I'm already writing too many real histories as it is.) But, a general Wiki push after challenge 6 would be good. Depending on how the official C6 version goes,that will set up the Historica: Book II period. I think there has been a few previous discussions on that new period, but like I said before, I don't think Challenge I of the new period should begin until at least October. Also, it seems that we may need a reorganization of the guilds and judges, including adding a guild helper to each guild to help with administration. Maybe in that manner we can get some more of the guild leaders to come back and participate more. I have too many tan bricks to quit Historica now.

So many good MOCs going up this week, so little time to comment. I love the resistance theme, I kind of agree with earlier sentiments, maybe Revolword should win so we have move cool scenes like this! Excellent suspense, great figs, good camerawork. I am always excited to see one of your builds!

I have been lax on comments lately, but I need to say this: Spectacular! Great story, great action and suspense, and a great MOC. I agree with the off coloring. Maybe white instead of brown? Or even tan? Still, great little MOC here.

And if you don't, contact my brother in Tokyo and make him buy them for me... HAHAHAHA.

It is actually the cyclops... They got drafted into victor's forces for the upcoming battle. Caesar is just chilling... maybe he could be one of the town leaders of Queenscross.

Will do DaMax! So... here is what I have been working on: bridge by skaforhire, on Flickr The great span at Queenscross... except I am out of bricks to make the other tower. So, I am going to assume it was destroyed in the elemental attack there, and is already cleared out by the time the battle happens. I hope to get a final set of pics of it on Wednesday, start a "call to arms" topic about it, and finish up the surrounding terrain (which won't be many special looking buildings, just enough to wargame with) and fight the battle in two weeks. Then... have the whole thing ripped down by the 22nd, finish CVI build 1 and be working on build two by April Fools day. Another note - originally this was a drawbridge, but I did not have a mechanism that was medieval enough to work it. So many white bricks.... but not enough to fully complete the Bridge!

Not too late at all. I can even replicate him almost precisely. I am still trying to find reasonable priced pieces for a few others though!

I think ZC said that all free builds would be scored up until those presented after the end of April... but, I could have imagined that. Bad news... the bridge at Queenscross must have had some true structural flaw, because it just toppled over. I guess that enemy army waiting to take the bride will have to wait longer until I can fix it. I have to get up in a few hours to teach so I have to go to bed instead of fix it, I was hoping to post a teaser.... Dang.

Dang it that makes it complicated... it was tied for two days. I am going to close it now, and I think we will award the title to DaMaximus. Although it was very close. I hope Kai does not mind.

If DM is up for it, then I think it would be great to get another two free builds out of you all err.... I mean complete for the title. But if not, then since he also built two entries, perhaps we should award him the title.

Wow, cool. Not sure why a Google search did not bring that up... Anyway, looks exciting, I will keep an eye out for what the GoH Ladies and Gentlemen do, and root for you all. (If I can figure out what you all's alternate names are! haha.)

That extension makes me feel good. I have put a lot of effort into a giant battlefield that can't count towards my entry in the last few weeks. I am hoping some of the individual components can count as free builds though. Does that mean the free builds period will be extended out to May 31st? (I believe it was April 30th before). Robuko, You have time, I am still trying to acquire some pieces for other people's soldier. The "send your most trusted soldier" part is actually for the next build I am working on. Also, I am about to call out for actual units / soldiers for the battle of Queenscross. (Sort of like my brother and I did last summer)

I got lost in real life for a while, and forgot to close it while DaMax was 1 ahead. But I would entertain a final challenge for Kai and DaMax, if both builders are up for it?

I have googled this, and can not find MOCathlon, is there a page for this somewhere? I noticed a few people have mentioned it now...

Wait, scores go down for using aftermarket parts? Even though some of the guild leaders have aftermarket parts in the sig figs / story figs? Or are we just talking about using a bunch of off color megablocks here?

Well, unless we can do some campaigning... or perhaps just get all of our former members to come back and cast a vote... I think we could take over the world again, or at least claim it all after the smoke clears... To the BL conversation: Yeah, I would have noticed the large difference, in fact that is what made me count it... but I was shocked after I said something along the lines of "I don't think I have ever been shorted pieces." Seller was awesome though, just got the other half today, no hassle at all. And, welcome to the guild Gideon. I know you said you might not be able to make C6, but I am sure you will be very valuable member of our community -- especially post challenge period while the project is re-imagined.
