Aaaw, no dark tan?? At least there seems to be plenty of other cool new pieces! See? See!? Happens every time! I've got whiplash that happened so fast! Now VBBN's concussion was over nothing! How does that make you feel Eurobricks?? Hmmm!? ( =P )

Rule 7 of Shipping: Never let a pre-existing ship or in-canon relationship get in the way of your ship! There is plenty of room in the armada!

I think I'm going to hold off on the episodes until after they show up in english, so uh hopefully they aren't completely spoiled for me by then.

The hatestorm will continue until we see better pics, then the fandom will do a 180. Like they did for EVERY WAVE for the past five years.

Agreed with Deevee, those new bones will work great for extra-skinny limbs, especially matching the show's animation style. Shame they won't come in lime because they'd be perfect for my Lewa: Rebuild.

I mean it's immensely entertaining but...

And the overreaction and doonsaying is still to the point of parody. It feels like I just came back with dinner and someone had set fire to the house. People are running all over, someone put a hole in the flatscreen, VBBN is unconscious, the couch is overturned, Aanchir is on fire...

Yeah, the overreaction and doomsaying here is to the point of parody.

I'm pretty glad the Mask of Time looks to be getting a lot of use in the reboot, I felt it was pretty underused in G1 for being a "Legendary" mask, being side items in both 03 and 04. (Of course, it being underused in G1 just means it's fresher when G2 makes it more prominent, so.)

That's one thing that's really interesting to me, that the Toa don't necessarily know about each other and actually uniting into a team might not be as easy as we thought it'd be, I hope they spend some time exploring that.

Personally, I'd prefer more functional new pieces like new shell shapes or bone types over detail stuff like the piston add-on. We haven't got much of that since Breakout, so I've been hankering for more.

but why would you trace transformers vs new avengers of all things

See, I completely agree that it's a functional, extremely well designed part, but we've had this sucker on the majority of constraction sets for the past four years.

The masks honestly don't feel any less secure than the 2001 masks did.

Huh, that's odd to me since mine are prefectly tight. Guess I didn't expect there to be noticeable differences on parts tolerances in LEGO. I hope you find a good solution!

Uh, wait, are you sure you've got them together properly? With both boomerang parts on one side of the pin nesting in each other? Given LEGO doesn't really do variable parts tolerances I find the Rangs being floppy surprising.

Try using Onua's gear set up, using a y-socket and ball to give it friction.

I got some of the new sets, and I have to say WOW am I ever impressed with Onua. Solid, aesthtically pleasing, easy to articulate... And he packs an awesome function on top of that which compromises nothing! Goodness me LEGO, this is amazing!

Maybe Skull Grinder's Mask is why the sacred law of never using more than one element in a mask was put into place? Just throwing that out there.

While this is an excellent MoC, the thighs aren't NEARLY gigantic enough to be based on Roly art. =P I think you came upon something brilliant with that dark orange on olive green though! Bravo for that!

While I continue to insist Estelle would make an ideal Onua, I gotta admit Richard Newman, the voice of Rhinox of Transformers: Beast Wars would also be great. A wise, spiritual character who is also big, strong, and powerful? Richard Newman can do that.

You guys need to stop finding stuff at Target, I keep fruitlessly checking mine. =P DV, I like you too much to inflict a review's review on you, and I'll leave it at that. ;)
