  1. Yeah, that's what I meant by 'effectively'.
  2. Oh, are they? I didn't know this, thank you for informing me. All I've seen on TV lately (as in, the last time I watched it) they were just going on about building more windfarms while I groaned at that. Once we are able to use nuclear fusion effectively it will be great.
  3. You could always vote for one of the other political parties! Personally, I support the Pirate Party UK because they're trying to reform copyright laws. They just need one of their members to be an MP so they can try to do so.
  4. I've been silently looking at this topic since you made it, I don't think I've posted once but this landscape is simply great. It's quite inspiring, keep up the good work.
  5. It looks good! I can definitely see the Helm's Deep inspiration, it looks like you've been inspired by the siege of Minas Tirith too! I like the small details such as the stepping stones.
  6. I can understand that and I do not dispute that. Personally there's something I dislike about all of the parties, none seem keen enough to push for more nuclear power.
  7. Yet, who to choose? It is hard to accurately judge politicians until they come into power. Which is a big problem. What is really needed is the people of the UK to do something. Sadly we cannot do much just sitting here and talking about it. Yet, what can we do? There must be something.
  8. Wow, no hail here at all. Sun's come out again though. EDIT: My dad came home and said that it was hail. Oops. EDIT2: As of 17:18PM it's hailing heavily.
  9. It's raining in Essex now! Gone all very dark, I have to put the lights on at 3:23! What is this devilry?
  10. I could go on with more rants, but I don't feel the need. You've said a lot, although there is more. Still, isn't it funny in a way that if anybody else insults the UK most of us will defend it, but we'll insult it ourselves? Saying about it raining all the time, I live in Essex and for a solid two weeks there was not a drop of rain.
  11. Very hard to choose from. All the buildings are very nice. 13) 1 19) 1 24) 1 28) 1 37) 1 38) 1 43) 1
  12. Weather seems really strange right now. Finally got some rain, at times the wind seems cold but sometimes warm. Why can't the weather make up its mind what it wants to do?
  13. I too have a friend that's not too interested in LEGO (he has some from when he was younger though) and he intends on buying as much of it as he can. In fact, he's been asking me a lot about information and pictures of the sets. It's really looking good so far. I haven't bought any other LEGO sets as I want to save my money for this!
  14. Wow! That's pretty big. Shame it was damaged. Still, it doesn't look entirely unrepairable to me, so good luck with repairing it!
  15. I've never had a Dark Ages, nor do I intend to have one! Although I can predict being in a mini Dark Age when I go to university, but I'll still try to maintain my interest. If anything it'll be a pause (that hopefully won't happen).
  16. Sorry for the bump, but probably better than starting a new topic as it's not too old. Does anybody have Draw Something on their phone? I do and it's quite addicting. You can search for people using Facebook, a username or their email. I've been playing against Scouts and several of my friends on there. If anybody wants to play me, my username is "Calanond".
  17. Is there anybody that could pick my mum and I up from the airport and drop us off at the chalets on the Thursday morning so that we could put out bags in their chalet until we're able to check in? I apologise for the double post.
  18. I simply don't have enough space. Currently out of the two sets of drawers I have for LEGO pieces, only one is in my room as I can't fit the other in.
  19. That video was rather... anti-climatic, considering they said it was "demolished". Still, it's interesting to see what they use and it's not always really high-tech equipment! (In the case of the boat anyway.)
  20. Happy birthday!
  21. Oh god not X-Factor. -.- I'm going to book plane tickets + chalet when I find out whether my dad is coming or not.

    Hobbies

I do LARPing, table-top gaming and play video games.
  23. Currently I have 10 drawers (2 large, 8 small) to store my LEGO bricks as well as various boxes for complete sets. It's all over the place right now and I have several boxes of assorted parts that I haven't got round to sorting out yet. In the drawers the pieces are done by colour, as I do not have enough time to sort by type of piece. It's so frustrating to try and find pieces in the black drawer! I think I need a bigger house.
  24. And Aquanauts! :P I vote for Rock Raiders, they have my heart! Probably one of my favourite themes.
  25. I have some news... I might be able to go for the entire event! I just need to officially apply for the time off, but it doesn't conflict with any exams so it looks likely.
